Service is poor

It wouldn't allow for negative feedback, but the service gets really costly and calls drop frequently. You're still charged for minutes that get dropped. I like that the services are offered but it needs to be cheaper for people that use it frequently.

Horrible

I thought I would give this service a try using their $0.99 trial and then trying their other services that promised ease of use and affordability. Instead, they have charged us multiple times and their response time is very slow. In one month they have charged us almost $150! Even after informing them of the erroneous charges, they continued charging us multiple times! They sent a feedback link with two buttons - one says "you're doing great" and the other says "I have complaints" When you click on the first link it takes you to this online survey. When you click on the second link for complaints it says the page is not accepting new responses. How sneaky! Now I wish I had read more reviews before providing my information to these people. STAY AWAY IS RIGHT!

Rip off

This does not work... it has been 2 weeks or more. Many calls to them. Wondering why my inmate had not received a postcard giving them the phone number so that they could call me. They told me to give the inmate the phone number. How can I give the inmate the phone number when they don't know who to call or what number to call. Then for my inconvenience they kept giving me an extra month's all the way into November I said I don't need extra free month my inmate will be out by then. I said I need to know why it hasn't gone through yet oh well there's a delay because of covid-19. Another time it was the facility is being slow about giving the inmate the postcard. Another excuse was it should be there tomorrow then. Then I got several texts saying congratulations your inmate has received their postcard my inmate has never received a postcard with the special phone number local phone number to call me. Finally accidentally my inmate got through to me on another person's account and I quickly gave her the phone number and when the inmate called I was able to receive it but there was a revolving recorder that said press 2 then it would start all over again and it would say pres to and then it would start all over again and press 2 and nothing else would happen my inmate had to hang up they have limited time in line on the phone. This is been a horrible experience I've asked for a refund they said everything should be working right away then I started getting more text saying that a picture was sent I never sent a picture then I got another text saying congratulations you're inmate can call you now my inmate couldn't call and get through I ask for a refund things will be better tomorrow now it's a revolving recording any inmate cannot get through and I can't get through to them. This is the biggest rip-off I'm really unhappy I don't think there's resolution and I doubt very much I'm ever going to see a refund and I hope that I do not have multiple charges on my card and I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau and make a real make a report thank you

I signed up for the electronic greeting cards so I could send my son a birthday card. Paid for it, "sent" it to my son. Waited over a month and checked. They NEVER sent the card to my son! Called... explained to them what happened and CANCELED the subscription. They refund my money fairly quickly and I thought I was done with them. I check my bank account today. Find out they have charged me the monthly fee for the past 3 months - AFTER I cancelled the subscription. I called customer service. Talked to someone named Phillip. He said it would take up to 3 business days to get my money back. Argued with him for about 10 minutes, all while I was disputing the charges with my bank. My bank has already refunded the money to me. So now, I'm going to let the bank get their money from these thieves!

I opted for the $0.99 trial to send photos for the first month and the first SINGLE photo of his cat was sent two weeks ago and still not received. From what I read in other reviews it may never be accepted by the prison. I then realized I could send multiple photos at a time, and set. Up a new order to send, but it prevents me from sending them because after two weeks they still have not "processed" the current order (cat AND dog!). Amazing how places like CVS can process your photos in 60minutes and Pigeonly can not do it in two weeks. I tried to send an email to their customer service department this morning and it was returned as undeliverable. I suspect the email address does not exist. I am watching the calendar closely to cancel before my month trial is up as I do not anticipate any photos sent by that time. Reading what I read in other reviews, additionally, I am already calling my credit card to protect it and to block any further charges from Pigeonly and keep them from taking additional money. I am surprised that there actually some good reviews on this site, as my anticipation for any cooperation within the next 10 days is not hopeful. I understand that this service was formed by someone who actually spent time incarcerated and would have like more contact with the outside world. The intentions were either good and the customer service and the operations simply fail, or the people running it are still 'lawbreakers' at heart. I would not recommend this service and will be cancelling before my month trial is up, hoping to prevent them from trying to further charge my credit card, even if I have to cancel it and have the number changed. Buyer, beware!

Not so good service

I sent pictures to my brother in may and he's just now receiving them. I reached out to customer support several times within the two months and received the same pre-written message telling me my photos would be going out within the next week. He looked at me as a liar for two months waiting for these pictures.

I SENT 2 LETTERS TO A FRIEND WHO WAS BEING HOUSED AT HENDERSON COUNTY JAIL IN TEXAS ON MAY 21,2020. THEY HAD NO PROBLEM CHARGING ME FOR THE LETTERS IMMEDIATELY HOWEVER THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO SEND THEM UNTIL APPX MONTH + LATER. ON TOP OF THAT WHEN MY FRIEND WAS NOTIFIED THAT HE HAD MAIL HE WASN'T ABLE TO GET IT DUE TO SOMETHING BEING WRONG WITH THEM... THE JAIL IS SENDING THEM TO ME SO THIS OUGHT TO BE INTERESTING AS TO WHY THEY COULDN'T BE GIVEN TO MY INMATE! THIS COMPANY SUCKS IN EVERY FORM AND FASHION! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T EXIST AND APPARENTLY NEITHER DOES THE PRODUCTION STAFF!

Fraudulent service

They charge you and never deliver on the service. I ordered photos June 3rd and they never delivered them. All they say is we cant refund you and the order is being processed. They are fraudulent. The owner kendricks hutson is a former convict and based on this fraudulent service he should be back in prison. Use free prints or another service. Stay far away!

Takes over 6 weeks for anything to be sent and then another 2-3 for it to be received! Ridiculous, and all they can respond is Covid-19. I'm a nurse... yes Covid-19 caused issues with everything but to still use that as an excuse is not acceptable.

Lies all lies

Well first I've put my order in 3 mths ago. My husband still has not received photes they message me saying they were sorry and offered a free month. Then a week later tried to take the money out of my account. I called to check on status of order said they were processing my order at that moment. Month later still no photos. He comes home next month I wasn't able to use the phone number options. And they are still trying to take money out of my account. And still no pictures. So I suggest using the old fashion way. Good luck this company sucks.

This website is garbage and so is the service. I purchased this service for phone calls and it didn't work at all and the number they provided me with didn't work. It's a bunch of bull. Will not continue with this service.

Today is May 9th. I sent a letter and photos on March 25th. Sandra hangs up, Faith or whatever is dumber than $#*!. Straight scam. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE. YOU WILL PAY FOR NOTHING! My photos say printed and so does my letter. All they say is "were having problems" so i printed them myself. Sent them and hes already got them for less than a dollar. The photos below were taken today! Stay away from this site!
