Ordered our Christmas cards through this site. Worst experience ever. I was told 4-7 days to print the cards and I ordered rush delivery. 10 days later, the cards are still "being processed". I will never use them again for anything.

Had a horrific experience with this company. We ordered a bunch of books as surprise gifts for our wedding guests. They sent every. Single. Book to the wrong person! Each book was different size, number of photos, and each name of each book ( and the highly personal letter contained within) corresponded to the name on the address. Huge mistakes, and all they offered is to refund our shipping costs, so then we are supposed to wire that refund to each guest ( in multiple countries) so that in turn each guest mails the book to the proper person... competely ridiculous! And that is after you "prove it" by having each person email a photo in of the wrong book. We spent a small fortune on books, rush shipping- and took great care with each one. Hugely disappointed!
All they want is your money, they don't care about the customer or their product. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Picaboo!

TERRIBLE
November 30, 2018

The site is Sloooow. Editing a project takes ages.
But the worst is that they are totally unreliable. I hope for you that you are reading this before choosing them - their shipping system is horrendous. All the big company ship international priority within a week. With them it's 3, if you are lucky, and you pay 37$ for terrible service! Disappointing. I will never use them again.

For a $35 coupon for $100, you end up paying $20 (Tax and shipping). It will end up costing $55 for the book. Expensive, not worth it. I give them 5 star when they offer free shipping at the beginning.

I made a 140 pg photo book, spent 6 months putting it together with clunky software. I bought two identical books printed and paid $160 (with buy one get one free coupon) Yet the quality was so bad! Photos were dark and colors muted. Printing did no justice to my amazing photos and hours of scrapbooking. I was heart broken. 4 emails of complaint latter, they sent me an email asking me to brighten all the photos, purchase two books again but without coupon this time, pay for shipping and tax, and they would reimburse me for books (but not tax and shipping). Really? How presumptious to think I just have $320+ extra bucks laying around and want to tie my money in their administrative reimbursement mess. This is the second time my Picaboo book failed expectations. Never again. Not worth it, even if the books were free. I'd rather pay full price and get good quality printing.

This company are total scam artists. The costs of your albums are never given until the very end when you check out. I created 3 books with them and it ended up totally more than $350 USD (not including shipping! Which was an extra $30). When I contacted the company about why I couldn't use two separate vouchers, they were extremely unhelpful and said because they offer such "great discounts" with these vouchers they can't allow people to combine them. Great discounts when you are already paying out the $#*!? Not so great

Do NOT work with this company! This company scams you (especially if you are from out of the US). The deals sounds too good to be true, because they are. They don't tell you until AFTER you have redeemed your voucher at checkout that you have gone over the page limit. They totally overprice their shipping (up to $30 for a single book). Just a garbage company.

Even with the Groupon, I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone. The website is terrible, it made good-quality pictures appear grainy, and the system wasn't user-friendly whatsoever. I make 3-4 photo books each year, and picaboo is definitely on my list of sites to never use again.
I also found it frustrating that I still ended up paying $10 in shipping at the end because the amount I paid for my groupon voucher didn't cover any shipping costs.

I made photo books for my mom and siblings for Christmas and they were a HIT! The printing was very crisp and vivid -- and the web application was easy to use. I love the redesign of the app! I also printed my Christmas cards through Picaboo this year. There were tons of great designs to choose from.

This is a horrible website that I would even venture to say is ripping people off! I bought a $25 groupon for a photobook. When i went on their site they add advertisement for discounts books already. I order a 8x11 book that turned out to be $120! With my groupon I still ended up paying over $60! When it arrived it was the wrong size and the pictures were dark. Now I'm trying to reach someone and there is no customer service number. Stay away! Bad bad site.

Very poor quality printing. Horrible quality by pro standards, unacceptable quality by amateur standards. Customer service tried to blame my monitor (It's profiled) my cameras (Nikon 5100) and my photos. The color and brightness of the book did not match at all the photos on my profiled IMac, not even close. My pics look fine on many computers, but look like total crap on my Picaboo photo-book. Using this company is like burning money.

I ordered a photo book of pictures from my daughters wedding. The book was very time consuming and took several days to complete. The website was fairly easy to navigate. I ordered the book on Monday after Thanksgiving and used their promotional code to buy one get two free. The book arrived as scheduled. One book only. The book I did receive has the wedding date chopped off at the bottom. There is a photo page included by picaboo of the cover which shows the date placement correct. They sent another one but it's the same mistake. This company has terrible customer service and when I posted the book on their Facebook page it was promptly removed by picaboo. This is not a professional company. I would not use them again and would not recommend them.

Disappointed
September 12, 2019

It took an extremely long time to get the cards and calendar I ordered. I received my calendar in January, even though it was a Christmas gift that I ordered in a timely fashion. I had to call to make sure I would be able to send my Christmas cards out on time. The website and app were not easy to use and the color on the cards was off. Won't be using Picaboo again.

Okay
March 29, 2014

Okay- I meant to do this a while ago. But I forgot and I promised I would. Picaboo was great to me. I decided that I wanted to make a photo book in order to propose to my now fiancé last August and I put in the order too late. I called Picaboo and they promised they would do anything they could to make sure that the book arrived on time for my proposal date. The book was rushed and arrived early! My soon to be wife loves the book and has it prominently displayed. The binding is great, the photos came out very well and the website was very easy to use! I realize upon looking here that there are a lot of negative reviews. But that was not at all my experience. If anyone from Picaboo is reading this... Thank you! You really helped me make an excellent memory that can be passed down :)

I ordered a custom photo-book from Picaboo. It arrived today.
The print quality is terrible. It looks like someone did a draft print-out and sold it instead of the quality product.
Every page in photobook product contains clearly visible grid-like pattern.
This is terrible even compared to results of one-hour photo service prints.
It looks like a bad Chinese quality, but for an exorbitant price.

Costco has less scrapbooking options, but their print quality is very good compared to that scrap.

I am completely dissatisfied with their product. It isn't worth even the shipping costs.
Their customer phone support service is also horrible and rude.

This is the worst picture book website I have ever used! Pay the extra couple of bucks and use Shutterfly, save yourself hours of aggravation! It is NOT user friendly, and after finally finishing my piece of crap book, I hit the "order" button, and I've been waiting for over 30 mins for it to upload, still not letting me order! Save yourself the aggregation, use another website!

Very bad experience with Christmas cards. They did not arrive when promised & the company would not refund my money. They are now projected to arrive on January 6th when they were promised by the 23rd at the latest. Do not use this company! Customer service is terrible. The representative argued with me & would not offer any apologies for the delay. I will never order from this company again!

I purchased a deal to receive $100 worth of product for $35 from a popular coupon site. When I received my product, it was cropped incorrectly. I contacted Picaboo, who said it was their fault, they had a programming error, and they were unable to fix it until further notice. I was told to re-order my project and basically "guess" where the crop lines were supposed to be. I was also told in order to receive my refund, I needed to Purchase the entire order, and then I would receive a refund in 3-7 days. So. What they want is for me to spend $100 to repurchase my products. Spending an additional $100 on something I only paid $35 for in the first place!
I do not have the funds in the bank for this (it is Christmas time, after all), but they said there was nothing else they could do. They couldn't just credit my account, or give me a one time use coupon code... nothing... just spend the additional $100 or get nothing.
I will never ever ever use this site again.

Beyond horrible customer service experience. First holiday card arrived with major error by printers... explained by picaboo as a technical glitch. Redid the card, was promised overnight shipping. 2 weeks late, yet to receive the card. Customer service simply said it was a "minor snafu" & there was nothing they could do. Now I have no holiday cards & picaboo was not helpful or sympathetic. Will NEVER use picaboo again.

Worst customer service
January 19, 2017

I've made photo books and calendars for my family for years and I've had the worst customer service experience with Picaboo I've ever had. I ordered calendars on December 12th and due to an addressing mistake, I still have not received those calendars on January 19th. I've contacted Picaboo four times, but is always like a brand new case. I've contacted the Post Office several times. There is no other company from whom I have received less concern about missing items. Buyer beware.
