Once I choose a source to upload photos from and the files load... I try to open the files but they will not open for me to see or choose any pictures to upload.

The pictures you upload should appear at the bottom of the window. If you are not seeing that then perhaps you did not actually upload the pictures. If you are certain you did, then I would suggest calling Picaboo or using their chat help line. It has worked for me.
