I am so not a fan of this store. They refused to take back unopened and unused items "because halloween is over" but fail to tell you this policy when you purchase several items prior to halloween. They also really push email notifications on customers and only very recently did they start complying with federal legislation requiring unsubscribe options. Customers are treated very poorly by this company, which suggests they should have none. I spent hundreds at birthdays and celebrations. NO MORE.
Not very happy with Party City online site. I ordered supplies for Christmas on 12/6. The site has been saying "in transit" since then. I have contacted the company many times, they were polite, but basically said you just have to wait, it will be delivered. At this point, who needs Christmas paper products after Christmas? I ordered everything online this year from groceries to gifts, etc. This is literally the only package that did not come in time. The items will be "returned to sender" if it ever arrives. Of course, my credit card has been charged since 12/6! I would go to my local Party City when Covid is under control, but I will not order from Party City online in the future.
Ordered 1 day delivery because I didn't trust their regular shipping. I had ordered about $70 in catering supplies, chaffing setups, extra pans, etc. The tiny bag dropped at my door was 3 light up Christmas necklaces at $2 each.
I called the store and while the manager was ok on the phone, I had to run down to the store before it closed to get my items and return those junky necklaces because he said "I'm going to need those back before I can give you your order". When I got there I was told the driver should never have taken that bag as there was no delivery slip and they don't deliver under $50. And for this great non-delivery experience I couldn't even get the tip back as it "was already processed"!
Worst experience ever! You guys hired some hood, nasty girl's who works there her name is Jade very disrespectful rude did not wanna help me told me to go to the cashier and ask for help. She is a useless person.
They charge $5 for a single latex balloon. I wanted to order birthday balloons and accessories and when I visit this site it was none other than a shock to me! Better reduce their prices otherwise people not gonna buy...
This was at the store in Shenandoah, Tx. Purchased a headband for my granddaughter. It was broken when I took it from the bag. We're talking less than a $5 item. Just wanted an exchange or store credit. Aron was so unhelpful and repeated himself saying if it was broken when we purchased, too bad. Why would I have purchased broken? And this guy was not a teenager, but a middle aged man. Such poor service does endear one to repeat purchases. Too petty deal with for anything major. Steer clear!

We were at 107 Ave store in Doral, we and few customers were trying to pay and even with 3 or 4 cashiers there, no one was available to ring the purchases, they were all very happy having fun between themselves my husband ended leaving the store without the Halloween mask he liked! It's a pity for a great store like Party City!
I bought a pinata that cost $39.95. We only filled it up about halfway with candy because it was a quite large pinata and we hung it from the tree the handle on it broke and the pinata fell to the ground and bust open before one child even got to hit the pinata. In addition I bought 20 glow-in-the-dark swords that cost $1.69 each and almost every last one of them was broke within two seconds of taking it out of the package that's how cheaply made they were the handles most of them were split. I like the variety they have at Party City but they're way overpriced especially for the lack of quality of the merchandise that you receive.
Ordered one costume on their website, off-season for a class, prepaid for pickup, only to have 6 fraudulent charges posted immediately on the credit card used right after. Their website or way of processing is NOT SECURE. My costume was cheaper online at $20, but $25 off the shelf at the store. Reporting the fraudulent charges totalling close to $2000 on my credit card, getting the compromised card cancelled, and ordering new card and waitin for it may not be worth the $5 saving at all. The only good thing about Party City may be that they have the things that you need when you need them. But as a business, there should be safeguards in place to be able to do business securely and protect its consumers from being exposed to fraud. Hope they can address this going forward.
Everytime we get balloons here pay for "high float" and still within a day or 2 they are on the floor. Yet the balloons you buy at the checkout line at the grocery store they stay floating for weeks. It literally makes zero sense.
I was charged twice for an online order. I called the store and the customer service line each multiple times, and was always told they would do something about giving me a refund, but never did. It is now a month and a half later from when I made the first call, and it appears that Party City has no intention of resolving this issue.
No one in stores will help you and don't bother calling their corporate office. You'll just be lead in a circle of pressing buttons talking to a voice recording. So yourself a favor and buy your party supplies elsewhere
On 4/28/19 I made an online purchase for some party supplies and a personalized Birthday banner total plus tax and shipping came up to $46.60. Party city took the purchase amount out of my debit card immediately okay on 4/29/19 the next day party city took an extra $21.39 even though they had already took the full amount of my order purchase of $46.60 those people double charged me for the price of one personalized Birthday banner so they actually charged my debit card a total of $67.99. I most certainly will never order anything from those morons /crooks again and would give them zero star's if I could.
I had an issue with a costume that I paid extra to have guaranteed shipping and delivery to arrive by a certain date. Not only was the package shipped 4 days later than it had guaranteed but the package never arrived. When I took it up with their customer service online, they were unable to do ANYTHING expect tell me to contact the postal service. Terrible customer service rep + experience. Will not be shopping / ordering from them again.
I have been frequenting Party City in Pembroke Pines for about a year. No matter what day of the week you go or the day of the year, you will never find more than 3 employees working. Customers are waiting 20 to 30 minutes in line. Hire more help or get self service registers. If not, everyone will only use Amazon and just get their balloons from Walmart and Publix. Or change your name from Party City to Sad City.
Party city sucks. I will not be coming back. They don't honor they're policies and they lie and have very rude people working for them. Even management. Plus there's not even a number to call and contact anyone about your experience
Ordered banners for granddaughters graduation in Texas. When package arrived it was not what we ordered! Banner had picture of African American girl graduating from middle school! Ours should have been of a Hispanic girl graduating from high school! Called and they said they didn't refund money on personal printing. We just wanted banners done right. Party City totally ruined what should have been a Great Celebration for our family! CEOS shame on you for messing with families! I wish I was powerful and with money!
Way to expensive, the single balloons at the front had a tag saying helium included,but a staff

I ordered a game from online store. I received a defected copy. I have been trying to reach customer service for 10 days but no use. I waited on holed for more than an hour and didn't get through. I send an email via their site no one got back to me. I also replied to the order confirmation address and still didn't receive any response. So frustrated I will never order any thing from this store.
Answer: No. I just spend 30 minutes on the phone and they refused to refund my order placed hours ago, even though they agree their website promised a delivery date they won't be able to meet.
Answer: Easy, but their substandard voip system with their employees working from home and the crying kid in the background makes for a trying experience.
Answer: There are many locally owned smaller party stores that are always cheaper and the service is better most of the time. No long waits and if they don't have what you need they can order it.
