Ordered items advertised as buy one get one 50% off. Site only gives 50% off items in multiple after the most expensive item. Supv stated that was company policy. My item was $13.99. Discounted second item should have been $6.99. She told me the difference was $3.00. Hello! Basic math.

Way too expensive. The only reason I kept coming here was because the old manager was a very nice and professional old man. The new manager is this very rude old lady, who expects you to immediately find what you want and chases you around the store, basically kicking you out of the place.
Seriously, just go to Target. It's literally right behind this place and you can find everything you can here over there, but way cheaper. I would not recommend this store, I won't be going here ever again. Visit only if you like unprofessionalism and nasty attitudes!
Please be aware of merchants such as this. Share this information! I made a purchase at Party City on October 31st. Read the return policy. It must be returned by October 24th to get your money back or you will receive a store credit. But they sold it to me on October 31st! If it is NOT seasonal you have 30 days to receive a full refund! I was forced to accept a store credit. Corporate backed it up!

I spoke to Supervisor Charolette and she was rude. I ordered a TODDLER costume and received a Boys Small. She kept telling me that I was stuck on the word toddler and I should have looked at the boys sizes. After her continuing to argue with me, she says we obviously have differences of opinion. Really?!

Absolutely the worst party city I have been to the people who work there aren't on the same page at. The manger is just as rude and is no help what so ever. They need to tell all their workers to give out the correct information. I Never will return to this location.

Annoying. I was told that I had to leave for using a latter which was left in the isle to grab an item from the shelf.
Jose (employee) starts repeating "you have to leave" Over and over again.
I am still waiting on my 19.99 to be returned to me. The delivery service was not used and tip fee. I will never do business with party city again. Every rep I spoke to told me differently. Wait 5-7 business days. Still no refund. Called the corporate number. Still no refund. I have reported my case to the better business bureau. So disgusted with party city.
I spoke to an employee (Luc)on the phone about invitations. I could not believe how he spoke to me. When I called his manager and spoke to her for a lengthy time I thought things would be different. It got worse. It was if there was a disconnect between the manager and her employee. I did not expect that I would have to deal with him ever again. I cannot go into everything That he said that was rude. It would be too lengthy. Needless to say I had to deal with him again. Because there was two people on the cash register and him. I am 43 years old and I have never called a corporate office on anyone before in my life. I will be doing it this time. Luckily I typed up everything that happened before and I just need to add this second experience to my letter.
I ordered 9 of the 6 balloon sets. I filled out all of the checkout information.
I was told: "balloons weren't available in stores."

Next, my order was declined, "Unable to deliver to a Cedar Park, TX residence. I am supposed to pay and not get anything? Sorry, I can't afford to do that!
I know they expand their staff around Halloween, but they need to be more selective about who the put on the phones. I called to place an order and ask about a discount that was not being applied to my online order. The guy berated me for not reading the fine print at the bottom of the page, refused to look up the items I was asking about, and then told me I should not be driving while talking to him.
When I told him his customer service is terrible, he told me he is not in customer service he is in the order processing department. When I told him I would report his poor attitude, he responded "I hope you do."
I placed my order elsewhere and will not bother with Party City in the future as it was a waste of time and energy. Train your people man!
I placed an order online that I needed for July 2 and apparently it was placed for July 5 which there was nowhere online to pick up date so I assumed it would be ready the next day. I called and they told me they won't be able to have it ready until Monday! There were no balloons or anything big a few little items and they can't take 10 mins to get it ready. The website says you won't be charged until the order is ready, wrong. They took the money right away and then when I ask them to cancel it the girl laughed and told me it will take 72 hours to go back into my account! WTF. Thank God there are other party stores because this experience was enough that I will not be going back. You guys ruined my little guys past day at daycare!
After ordering a balloon bouquet along with some candy two weeks ahead of time, they only delivered the candy. When I called the store to inquire, not only was she rude but my only options were to get a refund or have the balloons come the next day. When I inquired why they couldn't deliver them same day, she said orders had to be in by 3 PM I pointed out that the order had been in two weeks ago. When I asked how she would make this right, she said there was nothing else she could do for me. When I said I would share on social media she said "go ahead" and hung up on me. Very disappointing. They ruined the special surprise delivery planned for my nephews graduation day- I had planned since I couldn't be there.
Placed an order online for curbside pick up, called store to make notes store said call head office to make the notes, I called head office, head office said "we can't make notes, seems like the store is not familiar with the order process" I said ok so no way you or the store can help me for an order I made online for curbside pickup and her response was "thatttt is correct"... Dear Party City, customer service's role is to assist customers with orders inquiries, not make them regret a purchase... It was a simple question that believe me if she wanted to help with she easily could... she was just lazy. Sad that people are dying for jobs and then there's people with a job and choosing not doing it at all.
On November 17,2017 I stopped by a Party City store #6001 in West Roxbury, MA to buy a party balloon for a birthday party for a 6-year old boy. By the time I returned home just 1 hour later the balloon got deflated! Terrible quality of work, you have destroyed the party! Shame on you! The purchase happened at noon time. Those responsible must be punished and this store closed!
Ordered a pinata online, then had to drive 1 hour to the location that had the exact pinata in store. When I got there, they did not have it in store, but still charged me twice for the item. Horrible customer service and no one answers the phone!
I bought 2 blue star balloons at the Oceanside location. It began to deflate by the time I got to my location less than 10 minutes away. They offered to give my money back but the location is a distance from my home. Very disappointed.
I went there to pick up a number one balloon from my grandson's first birthday party. They said I had to pay for the balloon before they could blow it up so I paid for it and then they told me I had to wait 4 hours.

I walked into PartyCity Richmond, Ca (*******), at 10:30am. There were 3 women looking at balloons. I chose to wait patiently behind them to give them space (COVID/6 feet). I wanted to look at balloons and choose the colors I wanted as well. The cashier (young woman with braids and a mask under her chin), was in the process of helping a customer. She looks at me standing behind the three women, turned around and mumbled something. I said "excuse me" because I didn't hear her. As she walks away she says, "there is no line…but ok." What does that even mean? Was that customer service or sarcasm? Is that how management communicates with customers?
Chose not to purchase at this location.
I went in and purchased 2 costumes. My e. Husband also purchased 2 costumes from a different store/company. The kids actually used his. I explained to the cashier when I was there that there was a possibility of this and she said yes ma'am you have 7 days from the date of purchase to return. This is almost 80$ on costumes that I spent and now they are telling me there's nothing they can do. This is ridiculous and I will make sure every website that promotes them knows what theives they are.
Store 650, Party City Riverpoint - aggressive manager, unhelpful, rude. The staff and the manager were not capable to fulfill a b-day party ballon order paid at 10 am for a 5 pm pick up; rude to redirect. It seems as the customer has to accommodate for the lack of competency, long waiting lines. To get the money refunded I was told to wait again in the extremely long line, second time wait for the same unresolved issue. Not a safe place altogether, would not set foot on this location even again
Answer: No. I just spend 30 minutes on the phone and they refused to refund my order placed hours ago, even though they agree their website promised a delivery date they won't be able to meet.
Answer: Easy, but their substandard voip system with their employees working from home and the crying kid in the background makes for a trying experience.
Answer: There are many locally owned smaller party stores that are always cheaper and the service is better most of the time. No long waits and if they don't have what you need they can order it.
