Bought 2 CV axles from Parts Geek. Received one correct item and one that was not correct. They authorized a return RMA, but the return shipping was noted as the responsibility of the customer regardless of who was at fault. I would have been ok with shipping back at the original price, but the return address supplied is California and suddenly the price to return was more than the part cost. It would have been well worth it to have paid a few more dollars for good customer service, and definitely would have been a repeat buyer. So, take my advice and think twice before buying.
I will never order from parts geek ever again I keep getting the run around one sales rep told me that the warehouse never shipped out the package and then I was told that the carrier lost my package and they are supposed to guarantee 3 to 7 business days now they have to reshiy parts
Hope you receive the right part because Parts Geek returns is TERRIBLE! I have returned probably hundreds, if not thousands, of items to other vendors and Parts Geek gets an F-. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They are a HUGE disaster. The customer service reps on the phone are nasty, unfriendly, and unknowledgeable. Stay away from these people!
Ordered front and back rotors and pads as suggested by their web site as fitting my car, but front rotors were wrong size and did not fit. When requester a return to exchange it was denied, was told to order correct ones at twice the cost, but they looked for every reason to deny a legitimate return asking for shipping box and label when it was sent to the dealer for installation and dealer disposed the packaging.
Wish i would have done more research before ordering from thos joke of a parts store. Orderd brake parts for my sons mercedes w115. Payed extra to have the parts in 3to7 days but they were damaged in transit. How you damage steel brake rotors and calipers who knows
Ordered a part online. Received a 0hone call stating there was a problem with my order. Cleared up the problem only to receive another email 2 days later 8ndicating the same problem and that they cancelled my order this time. Called and requested a supervisor and jester (figures rite) couldn't tell us why one person can say everything is good and your order will be shipped to speaking with and basically told us to go buy it somewhere else. Asked for a contact name and number of his boss and he said I can't give that to you. These people are liars and frauds. Left me stranded with a broken truck for 3 extra days 1000 miles from home and they just didn't care. I suggest you spend the extra money and buy from a company that cares about there customer more than themselves and has a moral code of ethics. This company is horrible.
Pls they do not HV return labels,, customer service is dum $#*! hell, pls don't waste ur time this place is ahost,, now I got wrong part no return an item my fault. In the future iwould not even order apart for model car from they dam Yankees,
I thought I was ordering a starter for a 2017 Kia Optima...not! #1 the specifications that was on the website was misleading, even the photo listed on website was totally different than what I received. #2 called customer service and was on hold for hours at a time and never once could get anyone to answer to even resolve this issue that was 100% their fault #3 returned product paying $20 to ship it back. #4 the refund was $10 short of total bc they didnt include their shipping price I had to pay to even receive the product! #5 I couldn't even find an email to contact customer support all there was an option for was to chat with a automated person online that just directed me 2 their help page every time! Poor poor service!
Ordered a fuel pump for my Nissan 350Z. The fuel pump arrived in about 1 week, not too bad. However when I opened the undamaged box (can't blame the carrier) I found the fuel level unit was broken off the fuel pump assembly. I contacted them only to be given a return authorization number. I had to pay almost $20.00 to send their broken part back for a refund. I submitted a review of the fuel pump but since it was not favorable (I did not use any bad language) they did not post it on their site.
Ordered fenders for a 1962 Chevy Impala 8/3/20. Shipper showed on 8/5/20 with a hood for a 87-93 Mustang. Denied accepting the part from the shipper at that time. Packing slip even showed 62 chevy impala fender right qt1. And 62 Chevy Impala fender left qty 1. Have been hung up on so many times I can not count on one hand. From as soon as I start talking to them up until I have asked for a manager which I have only been able to talk to one time. Fast forward to today 8/26/20 I get a email the ware house has still not received the part back. I called the shipping company and they have had the part back at the warehouse since 8/19/20 at 12:04 p.m. Just order your parts from somewhere else and pay the extra hundred or so dollars and order from a better company.
Purchased a part. PartsGeek incorrectly labeled package and now its lost. Their mistake but i have to wait 30 days for resolution. Absolutely no customer service. They keep sending me Return Merchandise Labels. I never recieved and tracking never said delivered. Not a trustworthy comlany. No number for customer service but they provide a number for purchasing. Want your money. But after they get it, your on your own!
Was going to purchase a Rear Step Bumper Pad for a 2002 Ford E150 Van. The price listed for this item was $27.98. When I added this item to my shopping cart the final price jumped to $92.93. $64.95 for shipping and "handling"! I have attached a photo because I know I wouldn't have believed it either.
Ordered left side muffler for Kia and my installer had to modify to install. Ok alright no damage done. However when I ordered right side and is was approx 150.00 more I Calle d and asked why and the representative had no answer other than he was not a mechanic. So I ordered so it would match the left side and what I got was a complete right side welded to a Y pipe and 4' of pipe to a flange going to the engine. Certainly not was described on the site. Now they will not give me the full refund. BAD SITE DO NOT USE!
I received an email from the PartsGeek saying that I needed to update my address (which was NOT even an address I'm familiar with so why would I put that?), and I couldn't change it, so I called UPS, they told me that they can't change it and to call the shipper (PartsGeek), so I call them. And guess what? They can't change the shipping address either! And what's more? The customer service man says that it's my fault for not putting the correct address! He actually says that. So I call UPS and again and tell them what they said, and now I need to pick it up at the holding facility on Monday, an hour and a half out of my way. What the heck.
They would get zero stars if this review would let me do that. Please just shop for your parts elsewhere.
I purchased rotors and brakes for my 2019 dodge ram Dually they sent me the wrong parts then trying to get a hold of them in customer service was almost as long as it took to get the parts over two weeks speaking to their customer service the guys English was horrible and I continually had to repeat myself then when I finally was able to get labels they sent me the improper labels and I had to pay to return parts now I'm scared to see if I'm even gonna be reimbursed these guys are a joke if you wish to waste your money used them if not go to your local parts store order it let them take the liability or go to rockauto.com
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PARTSGEEK! I ordered a strut assembly. Box was previously opened, one part missing, part not as depicted in online photo. Returns, forget it. They don't send a shipping label (even when it's their error) and it was going to cost me more to ship it back than I paid for the part. $65.00 lesson learned. I'd give then zero stars, but it wasn't an option!
I ordered CHEVY parts, got sent FORD parts. I double checked my order before I submitted it, and after it arrived checked again to make sure I didn't goof up. Filled out a form for the RMA #, it came in an email the next day. I thought, well this isn't too bad. WRONG! $162 to ship back an $118 dollar part. What kind of Legit Business refuses to pay for return shipping? NO ONE - that's who. Never, and I mean NEVER order from this place.
Never delivered my brakes and after three weeks of waiting, I finally called and they told me that the only way I could get my money back was for me to call FedEx and tell them I wanted to refuse delivery. Angrily I did so, which I believe is their job not mine, and FedEx told me to tell them that the package was lost. When I informed them of this on my second call, I was told they would have to investigate and that it would take 3 to 5 business days. Once the investigation was over then they said it would take an additional 10 days to try to locate the package and that if I needed the product sooner then I would have to pay for it again. Having never gotten the first package I'm not interested in paying for it again and likely having the same experience. So I ordered it from somewhere else and got it in two days.
Supervisor BILL at partsgeek is the worst person to deal with sending defected parts back that are less than 30 in service with an 1 year warranty. Irather go the the junk yard for better quality parts and service. ALL parts were installed by ASE auto shop this company should be renamed partsjunk! Thank you Mr BILL for your complete waste of time and money. God Bless you. Shelton Seal
Part arrives broken. Went to website and it instructs you to fill out the sites form which I did. They sent me a RMA number. Took it to UPS to ship back and had to pay 44 dollars in shipping charges for a 75 dollar part.
Called partsgeek and was told they would not reimburse me for shipping. So I will no longer use Parts Break
And warn all that you are on your own with Parts RIP OFF Geeks.
Answer: Because they're unprofessional, unethical, communist fuckin jackasses!
Answer: Parts geek had the rudest and most infuriating customer service I've encountered ever.
Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
Answer: Because they are either crooks, or they have some nut in the warehouse grabbing whatever and sending it to you even if it's wrong wrong wrong!
