I was concerned with the loud squeaking noise that the dryer was making and when the belt broke that really made life that much more exciting. I went to the box stores and they all said we only sell the unit, not the parts. We live in a disposable society where the value of fixing an item has disappeared.
I was further dismayed when my local hardware store did not have the part either.
This forced me online and thanks to Part Select it was not an exercise if aggravating futility.

I have told my friends and neighbors, and when I hear someone complain about their appliance, like Superman flying in for the rescue, I talk about Part Select and how great it is.
I am by no means a mechanic, engineer, or overly handy ("remember if they don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."), but with the videos, this repair was much less painful and had a lot less foul language associated with it.
I strongly recommend Part Select to anyone that wants to repair and not replace. Take back home repair.

I researched the part needed for my range and found this site that claimed to have that part.It was a substitute for the bulb that had been discontinued. Stated to fit the model number of my range. It does not fit! Now, cannot return it due to a time limit to return.

I ordered a clip for my fridge the weekend before Thanksgiving. PartSelect sent the wrong part. I called on Tuesday desperate to have my fridge up and put back together for Thanksgiving as I was hosting. Spoke to customer service. Said they would reissue the part and charge me for expedited shipping. Additionally, said it was their policy, even though I pointed out that they shipped the wrong item, to charge me again for expedited shipping. The customer service gal said "Mam, we have policies here" and I replied with requesting a full refund and my personal policy not to do business with a company that screws up and wants me to pay for it. What an awful way to do business. Shame on PartSelect.

I ordered a new part for my stovetop. It was delivered quickly and is even better than I hoped. Highly recommended

I have an older Toro leaf vacuum and blower which had lost parts. This website gave me the exact parts I needed at a very reasonable price and their delivery was prompt and on time

Easy to navigate and locate the parts needed and make sure they are the correct part #. The entire transaction was seamless and the parts arrived in a timely manner. The price was also at the lower end compared to other sites.

They had the door seal I needed to fix my dishwasher at a price far less than a repairman would have charged. Their video was easy to understand and I was able to fix my machine for only the cost of the part. They shipped it right away. This was a good experience for me.

This site is awesome! Not only was it super easy to find the correct part, they provide instructional videos for demonstrating how to replace or repair your appliance. The packaging was handled with care and arrived in perfect condition and quickly!

When the agitator in my 4 year old GE washer wouldn't agitate, I knew it would be a pretty simple repair job and didn't want to spend a fortune on a repair tech for something I could do myself.
The problem was finding the right parts.
A lot of sites were difficult to navigate and made finding the right parts a lot harder than it should be.
Part select.com was much easier to use than most of them and I was pleasantly shocked to find the OEM parts were less expensive than the aftermarket stuff on that big online place who's name I won't mention.
If I had to pay a repair service to do that job I'm pretty sure if would have cost as much as a new machine.
I was able to make the repair in well under an hour, most of which was spent getting the old agitator out.
FYI, if you have this problem and have watched the YouTube videos of guys just pulling agitators out with a cord or something, they don't apply to this machine.

I ordered a piece for my dryer. Locating the piece online was easy and it was delivered ahead of schedule.

I found the drill down illustrations very helpful in finding the parts I needed. The parts were a little pricey but I couldn't find them anywhere else. The parts arrived earlier than expected. My plumber installed them in no time. Just what a homeowner wants. Good job!
