I haver an old GE fridge, model TBG22PAXKRWW and it stays cold, so do I need to change the thermostat

Hello Hassan, Thank you for contacting us. Based on your model number and our symptom list, the defrost thermostat is the most likely cause. You can test the part with a multi-meter to see if it is functioning properly.

I'm not understanding this question. The fridge is suppose to be cold. If you're saying it's too cold, yuen try thoroughly defrosting it and lowering the setting for the fridge compartment.
