Have a BMW E70 with the 4.8L, ordered a rear brake kit that in big green letters up top said, this product will fit your car. Double checked, yep, 4.8L listed. Ok. Purchase the kit, arrives and it's for the 3L, not even close. Call them up to RMA and get my money back, they refused to take responsibility for the mistake on their website and since they don't provide actual product sizing you have no way to cross check. End result they required me to spend $84 (1/4 the cost of the kit) to return a kit and it's my loss on that. And so far, I haven't received the money back. Absolute horrid company, their mistake is staring them in the face on the website and they refuse to accept it.

The monitor was only used for a couple of days during which time I ascertained that my problem was not corrected. I took it to a mechanic as soon as an appointment could be arranged. It is not fair or correct to state that the part was used for some time. As far as the box was concerned, your representative was told in our first contact that I did not have the box and pursued several other avenues (including a photograph of the part and a copy of the invoice) to disallow the return. Finally, after meeting his requests, he stated that he needed the box which I had told him earlier I did not have,
Whether the manufacturer of the parts would not reimburse me is not entirely the point. I bought the faulty part through Parts Avatar, not through them. Surely, it is your responsibility to resolve the issue. People should know that you do not necessarily stand behind the products that you sell.

Ordered sway bar links and brake pads, which had a promise of a 1-2 day dispatch. 5 business days later, the order still not shipped. Upon requesting a refund, customer service rep created a shipping label at 1.13 am and claimed it was already shipped 6 minutes after.
Save yourself some hassle and just order from rockauto with lower prices and a much faster shipping service. My order from last Friday (ordered a day later) is already here.
Not worth the headache to use this vendor.

Bought an air conditioner compressor and clutch. Was faulty/broken as soon as it was installed. The part has to be installed in order to see this. Install cost is about $500.
No phone number to discuss the issue. Have to rely on online chat. Was simply directed to the website for the return process... just buy another one and we will credit you when the faulty one is sent back at your expense.
Simply not good enough and deplorable customer service and quality control.

Ordered parts from these guys. Was told by their sales person that I would also need this other part. When it came time to return the part that was not needed at all, they tried to hold off the time limit on returning the part. It was the salesperson mistake! Not mine! Had to pay express shipping in order to get part back to them before the contracted date. And also didn't get my full amount that I paid for it. Glad I kept the conversation between myself and the salesperson. Never ever will I order from these people again. I didn't even want the money back, just a credit because I would have ordered more parts. Lesson learned, costly but learned!

They sent me front end parts and they didn't fit my car from the time of installation I have requested a refund but they keep giving me the run around every email they ask for one more peace of information and this has been going on for the last 2 months to date they didn't refund me and they are only interested in replacing the parts. I explained to them I was unable to wait for there long delivery time and got them else where. Still they asking for original box's and vin numbers and the emails didn't stop yet.
My advise don't use them for your car parts, a local vender will be more suitable especially that I had to pay for labour twice. I don't even know if they will cover that or not they still didn't refund me the cost of the parts.
