50 mm struts for Jetta are hard to find and usually expensive. The site doesn't clearly mentioned the model will fit, I have to measure the original one before purchase. Their customer support online was not able to find them initially. Great product, good quality and not very expensive compared with other online places.

Ordered some Brembo brake pads for my Subaru Impreza, put all the details in the vehicle description and got, in great big green letters - This will fit your vehicle - so I ordered them. When they arrived they didn't fit. Apparently there are 3 different types of Brembo pads that fit my car. I spoke to Partsavatar to say that their site was misleading by claiming, in big letters that they would fit, rather than 'These parts MAY fit'. Asked for either a return label, or to use their courier system to send them back for $6.50, but they refused, so I'm left with some useless pads, because it will cost $80 to return them. Considering I've spent over $1000 with them, I would have thought they'd compromise in some way, due to the wrong information on their site, but no. Disappointing!

I ordered a couple time. It was fine. The price are usually good and ships from canada for free most of the time.
Than I placed an 500$ order in which one of the part I received seems completely different than advertised. It was a 24$ a fuel strainer. The part were completely different than what shown on the website. And I saw no way it can fit to the brand new matching fuel pump I ordered at the same time. And it was also different than one on my old fuel pump. So it's was clearly a manufacturer error... They packaged they wrong part in the box. Fine, partsavatar will sort it out... nope!
So after 10 emails exchange with customer support. Providing proof with pictures of what I received, what is on Partsavatar website. They keep answering the same excuses in a loop. It's either because "it's a generic image on the website, the part can be "slightly different" (even though, it's completely wrong) or it's my fault that I did not ordered the right part that fit my vehicle. I even provided a link to a youtube video of a guys opening the exact same box of the exact same part number. And surprise, it contains the expected part. Still customer support keep giving me their excuses in a loop. They will spends more money on answering you excuse than send me either the right part, provide me a return shipping label or just issue a refund. You'll get no help from them. Probably some thirdparty offshore support company that does not care to keep partsavatar's customer. Be warned!

But they never admit their fault despite all the proofs and picture I provided them. They still says "it does not fit because I ordered for the wrong car submodel"

I still suggest to get things that you can find on amazon. These guys charged 15% when you return anything to them regardless whos faults and mistakes. In my case is that they use generic coated rotor pictures for their rotors and I received a white blank rotors instead. So I returned them and got charged for 15% restocking fee. I would have no issue when this happen on Amazon.
By the way, they raise their price sky high and make it like there is 50% off when Amazons regular price is cheaper than their discounted items. So, do your online research before your place order with Partsavatar.

This was my second order with Parts Avatar and on the first everything was as advertised, but on the second, I ordered brake pads and brake rotors together for my Ford. The rotors would fit but the pads were to small (wrong part). I contacted customer service and they said I could return, but have to pay for shipping. I feel this is unfair as they sent the wrong parts to my car so why I would have to pay to return them. I explained this to the agent, but her only answer was: "you ordered them, there yours now", "you want send it back YOU have to pay for it". The part number that was sent to it is still available for my car on the website, four days I bring this to their attention. It is highlighted in bright green that this part would fit my vehicle.
Buyer be aware that after you choose you car make/model/year/engine option they would list parts that do not fit your vehicle. You might purchase those and when you want to send them back you find out that shipping cost more than the part itself. You take your losses, they take their profits.
I would stick with Autopartsway or German Parts. Something goes wrong they replace the part at no cost to you within minutes.

Contacted them multiple times about an issue, kept getting disconnected before finishing communicating, had to contact four times and start over from the beginning. In the end no refund as of the circumstances no original packaging. They could have offered a partial refund IE Their markup but they squirmed their way out over packaging which was destroyed removing the product. Never deal with them again, there are Companies online who are more appreciative of their Customers.

Ordered H-Style 1/4" (M) NPT x 3/8" 67 CFM Steel Quick Coupler Body, 5 Pieces by MILTON INDUSTRIES INC - 1834 however I was only given 1 pc despite the description stating 5 pieces. Talked to sales and was given either a 15% discount or needing to drive all the way to Mississauga to drop off the part for refund. Misleading product description. They should've cancelled the order once they determined there was a discrepancy.

Ordered a part from PartsAvatar. Wanted to try someone in Canada….what a mistake….no customer service. Don't waste your time with the online support, I think it's automated, just kept saying it's coming 'sorry for the inconvenience'. Actually paid for expedited shipping and it is now later that if I had just gone with standard shipping. No refund on the express shipping charge…tried to cancel (before it was actually shipped). Can't do that….we sit says it was picked up my carrier Jan 22 then that changed to Jan 24. While the order Satan's says it was delivered Jan 19-20 and I still don't have a part! Do yourself a favour and stick with Amazon…at least they respect their clients.
