Was my second experience with store. First one ok, I ordered 1 thing, and got it.
This time, unaware of possibility of such a treacherous act like splitting on order, I ordered ac compressor and a drier with gaskets kit.
Next day got e-mail, we dont have a drier in stock, gotta wait from 1-4 weeks. Do you want to wait? And we shipped your ac compressor. But why?
Situation is that we have to either repair our AC system, or simply drive like that till the end of our days off, and now we got a situation that we cant fix AC system ('cause of lack of a drier and gaskets), an we can't leave 'cause we have to wait the delivery of this compressor and then send it back right way, and being penalized 15% of their stock charge... what a ridiculous situation. We are loosing time and money because this store mislead us (lied) about their abilities to provide us what we need in time. Lesson for us, never trust such things.
P.s., Few days later addition:
As a normal person, I should add that customer service team did everything possible to meet my needs, though I lost time and some shipping charges, still I wasn't charged a 15% fee, and got all the help needed with a return.
I plan to buy there in future, since there people like Alena, Scott, Gloria and others who helped me with their store. Good luck guys!
All I wanted was help returning a part and instead they wasted my time for over 30 minutes. Only to tell me what I already knew (that it wouldn't fit my vehicle) but was assured it would fit by another employee when I was searching for a replacement part to purchase. After this sad waste of my time they pawned me off to the returns department and told me to wait for them to email me. This company treats your business and concerns like they are jokes and in no way seem to value their customers. Terrible service, unreliable and unhelpful information.

Horrible customer No Service...talking with bots getting No Where trying to arrange a return of the wrong item. If you get the correct product the company is okay. Wrong product huge issues. I just wanted to speak to a real person. Good luck, I dont even believe their online agents are real humans. AI bots giving the run around. Very disappointed is putting it mildly.

Before they collect my money, Delivery date indicated as between July 12- July 13. After they process payments, Delivery change to July 13- July 17th, C'mon Canadian site taking a week to deliver to Canadian address? My first and last time with this garbage place. Amazon is faster.

Ordered parts that showed in stock. Followed up a few days later on delivery to find out two items were out of stock. Would have been nice to be notified, couldn't give me a time line. Then on top of it was told it would take up to 10 business days to refund my money, I was on a timeline and can't wait to see if maybe I would receive parts on time.

Buyer beware.Partavtar advertises certain prices for a particular item which you feel you are getting. For example ordered 2 boxes of a particular item which said on their website 5 pieces in a box but they only sent me 2 of the 10. Then they said they made a mistake in their advertising and they want their product back and the manufacturer made a mistake which was a bunch of garbage. They never admit they were misleading customers blaming it on the manufacturer which has nothing to do with their website. Have filed a complaint with BBB and will see how it goes from there. I will never deal with this company again and you should think yourselves. You never can talk with anyone only by email. I wish you luck if you have a item you purchased through them thinking that is what I am paying and then find out if there selling to cheaply that they want more money for there item saying the manufacturer made a mistake on price and they can not sell it to you at that price.If I where you go somewhere else like Amazon where there customer service is great. Partavatar does not even deserve one star

Order rotors for my vehicle, I had to pay shipping as they considered where I live as remote.I live in St. John's, NL. I had the rotor installed and to my disappointment, the rotor was defective, my vehicle would thump whenever I applied the brake. I had a mechanic look at the newly installed rotor and was told it was warped and defective. I contacted parts avatar...what a joke they are. I was told I will have to order another rotor, pay the shipping once again, return the old rotor and pay shipping to have it returned, only then would warranty be considered. I explained to them on many many occasions that I needed my vehicle road ready as I was traveling and would not have time to order another from them. My problem seemed to fall on deaf ears, I keep getting emails saying my warranty problem has been resolved, but they have done nothing for me, have not acknowledged my email stating that getting my vehicle fixed was time sensitive. They have 0 customer service, horrible return and warranty policy. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! Ordering from them is like playing Russian Roulette...if your part is without issues, then you win, but if you need customer service for a warranty problem, then bang, your lost! I would never recommend this company, they might a few dollars cheaper, but the few dollars I have saved have now added up to nearly 300$ in the red! Buyer beware of Parts Avatar! Let me add that if you order from this company and have no issues with your order, great! BUT, if there is an issue, then you will see this company for what it truly is!

The website is difficult to use and gives incorrect search results in many cases. I generally buy Chevy truck parts from LMC truck and others and then import them myself, but being in Canada, I thought I would give partsavatar a try with an inner fender. The site led me to the wrong part and now I'm stuck with it, because return shipping is far too expensive to be worthwhile. I will go back to buying from experienced sellers who specialize in one type of product, who have easy to use catalogs.
