Over the past couple of months I have spent a lot of money with Parts Avatar. On more than one occasion I was sent wrong parts. In spite of many enquiries I still have not been refunded, while some orders appear to be "lost". There is no communication from Parts Avatar in an attempt to help resolve these issues. I am utterly disappointed.

I purchased wiper blades for my car, and the rear windshield wiper - which was recommended and suitable for my car- was too long and has caused some scratches on my windshield. The front driver side wiper blade was also recommended and it does not do a good job of clearing precipitation from my windshield. I was pretty excited to support this Canadian company, but I'm disappointed with the quality of the product and the accuracy of the product suitability.

Wiper blades ordered for a 2003 CLK - site said 'these' will fit. I wasn't looking for a fit according to size (I can read an owner's manual or use a measuring tape). I needed a specific fit to the original wiper arm - the ones i got were standard, run-of-the-mill 4 different adapters, etc. They did not fit - not possible to install. I had no choice but to pull out the rubber and replace the ones in my old blade. Rather disappointing as my blades themselves are getting rusty. Rubber is good quality, though.

I couldn't seem to get my return shipping label so went on the chat line. The person I spoke to was very frustrating as they didn't answer my questions and kept telling me information I already knew like my email account (as if I didn't know what that was!) and where my part was shipped to (also knew that!). They just kept asking if there was anything else they could help me with but they didn't help me at all really.
I also ended up not shipping my old part back as the shipping cost was over $60 and the part was only worth about $80 so if they couldn't reuse my part, I wouldn't have got money back and I would have spent even more money on shipping. The part they shipped me was the correct one though so that was the good part of this transaction.

The muffler I received was not the right one for my car and it was listed as it would fit, we had to modify it to fit, because I really needed the muffler
