Ordered my first order from partsavatar with high hopes. Unfortunately receiving a box of 4 denso spark plugs quickly made this a bad experience. The box of 4 plugs I receieved was ripped open and one spark plug did not match the other three. The production code on one soark plug was different and the font also. I looked up Denso advisories on counterfeit plugs and this should not be the case. Customer service has not resolved the issue and poor experience overall. Would not recommend.

Notification of part being delivered, via email, stated that "… make sure someone is available to accept delivery". The part was claimed to be left at front door and no signature was obtained. Picture of delivery is not adequate, anyone can do that and then walk away with package - does not ensure delivery to customer. Part was never received. Customer Service " washed" their hands of the issue. As such I'm out the part, cost of part $800+, loss of vehicle usage for over a week from ordering. Absolutely terrible experience, I will not use Parta Avatar service again and would encourage others not too either. Parts Acatar should stand by their communication and ensure packages are sign for to complete safe delivery to their customers.
Part sat way too long before being shipped. And when it was finally shipped the company they use (raven something) would only communicate through email. Which too 2 days to reply. Go with someone else. Rediculously long time to send a part.

I recently ordered some parts(April 9,2025). Paid for rapid shipping. Was supposed to arrive by April 11. Parts didn't arrive until April 15. They promise to give me a refund for my rapid shipping fee. Instead they just start avoiding me getting my refund for my shipping due to my package came in late. Don't order here just order on your local parts store.
Shipping time was great. Parts came 2 days earlier than expected. Brake pads were the wrong size for my vehicle (front and rear). Have sent back for a refund and am waiting approval. At which point I'll be able to pay a 15% restocking fee in addition to $33 shipping on a $116 purchase. Every education has a tuition, right?

Ordered a starter for a 2.0 civic, got one for a 1.8 even though, web page showed it would fit. I even filtered for the 2.0 and still got the wrong part, on top of that I had to pay for return shipping on an item I couldn't use. First time ordering and will be my last. Only found out it was wrong when I had my original starter in hand. Which was lovely
Had radiator installed by mechanic and back to square one with leak. New Rad was sent damaged with pin hole in middle of rad. Shame I lose money absent from work and having to to service twice. I hope to be refunded for rad and incentive for my troubles due to damaged product including waste of $400 service to install.
The drums I purchased arrived out of round. When I tried to return them, they requested a photo of the old ones alongside new ones with the packaging. Eventually I got around to doing all that but it was beyond the 30 days window so my return was not approved. This is not a company that stands behind customer satisfaction, especially when they are at fault.
I ordered a wheel bearing for my ford escape, the part was fine, only the C-Clip was missing. A shame for my second order here… they wouldn't send me the missing part so they offered me a 6$ discount on a 35$+ order. Lame!
Stay away if you are anticipating the date that they give you a check out. I bought items on 19 they said expect delivery date between 24-26 now its the 30th. $#*! service now Im without my vehicle for an extra week because of these con artist. They won't give me my refund now I'll start a formal complaint with my CC as they lied on the delivery that we agreed upon at checkout time.
They send you the wrong parts than yu are on tge hook for shipping to send it back. Try giving them a call

The order came, but was missing mounting bushings. I have discussed this with customer service through a chat line and sent pictures as requested and have been told by Parts Avatar that I can request a discount if I want to keep the part or sent it back for a full refund. But I simply want the parts that were supposed to be included in the box. You can't talk to a live person to get any kind of decent response. You would think that a parts supplier would be able to simply sent the missing part. If Parts Avatar want to give me a discount, they should give me the amount it will cost to get the missing part...and then send it to me instead! So much for customer service. I'm still waiting for a resolution. It is up to me to continually prompt customer service for a response. I'm not very impressed.
I received a ball joint with missing nut. The hardware package had been opened prior to me receiving the item. No phone number for communication and emails go in circles without resolution. I will no longer use Parts Avatar.
I used one of you representative help to find the part i needed (to make sure i would end up with the good one.) The universal joint doesn't fit my truck. Very frustrating. Here are 2 pictures to show you the size diff.

We emailed Parts Avatar about their return process and we shipped it out using our own money. As soon as the parts reached their warehouse, they stopped replying and start pretending to not see our emails. We haven't received a response in weeks and no refund has been received. It's unfortunate really and will be avoiding all things Parts Avatar related, will also not recommend to family and friends. If you're reading this, buy locally or check Rockauto or other sites, don't say I didn't warn you.

Looking to replace brakes on my Silverado 1500. Based on their Web Fitment Recommendation I bought rotors and pads. Called back because the rear rotors I wanted were back ordered. I provided the VIN and GM replacement part number received directly from GM dealership but their "chat" help could not figure it out. So now I am concerned... so I looked up the parts I had already ordered and not surprisingly there is a problem. This is what they show for the exact same part for the same vehicle taken within 30 seconds of each. So what's the message here... do not trust them to recommend parts either from the web or in the chat. What a waste of time and money.
