"Since there are no intermediaries, the service is terrible. I made a shipment through their website, Drop Off and the post office on a Saturday. The website generated a label, but the post office didn't pick up the box, and I had to take a taxi back home. I sent them emails asking if they do deliveries on Saturdays, and they responded with a generic email chain. Customer service is horrible, and they take too long to reply."
Terrible experience with this company. I sent a pair of mountain bike rims off using UPS from Nottingham to Essex, with two tyres included in the packing. The original fee after I paid for extra insurance was £26.62 which I was happy to pay. Ten days later an additional charge has gone out of my account to Parcel Monkey for £174.35!? To be clear here, I added accurate dimensions and weight to the item I sent off, but nothing can justify this extra cost which I am seemingly powerless to stop going out of my account. Contacting the company directly seems to be useless, I'm not sure what there is I can do, but hopefully if you're reading this it will dissuade you from every using using this firm, because it seems to me they're stealing money from their customers, and a quick search online tells me I'm not the only one. AVOID!
I needed to ship a parcel so i very carefully weighed and measured it, they quoted me £22 to ship it so i paid on my credit card, 3 weeks later the took another £78 explaining the parcel was 6cm bigger than my quote.
They provided a photo of my parcel to prove it was 6cm bigger (take a look).

After sending 1 kilo small size parcel to China got email with 'Disputed Charges' claiming my parcel was 24 kilo! Credit card was charged with additional 72£
They refuse to provide any original request from courier, so I suppose it's purely their on "invention" to earn money while customer use service where size and dimensions are not indicated by courier.
Horrible experience. I feel like pulling my own hair shipping through them. I'd rather use EMS which is super reliable. My parcel has been over one month and it hasn't even been delivered yet. Noone knows what happened to it. Customer service in the USA where I shipped from gave me wrong tracking info which belong to Jersey Post. Customer service in the UK doesn't even bother to response my queries. I wonder if they're in a business to ship products or stealing products from people like us and selling it online.
Beware stay clear of these fraudsters at all cost, the items I posted using parcel Monkey turned up totally destroyed, the buyer sent me multiple pictures of the contents and the box and it looked like they'd been thrown from the wagon onto the tarmac multiple times before getting dragged down the motorway to their final destination, and even though I'd payed for extra cover these clowns said I wasn't covered due to inadequate packaging, the contents were wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap and sealed in a sturdy well taped box, don't think any packaging would survive the onslaught parcel monkey provide.
To top it off customer services-complaints blank you once these Charlatans fob you off with their p.ss poor excuses,

Had an item collected on the 9th Feb, sat with the courier, with the " weve got it" message ever since. Trying to get Parcelmonkey to actually get me some information is useless, like all big companies, they appear not to give a f""". We have got your money, move on, we do not care.
This company is allowing their couriers to scam customers.
My parcel to the USA was sent via them and my measurments and weight which I checked three times to make sure they were correct, even allowing a bit extra for mistakes.
The parcel 27cm x27cm x20cm 2.7 kilo cost £37.78 which was about the usual price of the size parcel I send every year.
The courier state it was much larger by almost twice the size and gave me a surcharge of £51.59 making the total cost £89.37 which was considerably more than Royal Mail had assessed it...and they agreed with my weight and measurements.
Parcel Monkey have done nothing to help me despite several e mails from me.
Parcel Monkey have allowed one of their couriers to scam me with no recourse.
AVOID AT ALL COST.
Parcelforce say I can claim compensation for a damaged parcel but Parcelmonkey won't release the booking number I need to make the claim. I assume its because they make claims and keep the money themselves. There's no other reason.
Made the error of entrusting Parcel Monkey with shipping my personal possessions internationally. Supplied the relevant documents for international shipping to no to avail as Parcel Monkey never ensured that the carrier received them. At the time of writing my possessions have been delayed for 11 weeks. For the past two months they have been sitting in Parcel Monkey's depot with daily promises from Parcel Monkey that the case has their highest priority, yet nothing happens. Parcel Monkey has not been able explain why the consignment remains in their depot though they have supplied me with photographs of the parcels as evidence that they have not destroyed them, but only slightly roughed them up. For that, they fully deserved the one star in this review.
I repeatedly asked Parcel Monkey's help desk to escalate the case to a manager and to place me in contact with said manager. After 10 weeks I finally received a message from an employee who presented as a manager. True to form they offered no help. I sent Parcel Monkey a formal complaint, which they ignored.
Having had the misfortune of dealing with Parcel Monkey on more than one occasion, my experience is that Parcel Monkey's business model is designed to minimize customer service and shrug off responsibility for the safety and timely delivery of the objects you ship using their service. Add to that, that in many instances Parcel Monkey seem to not understand the mechanics of international shipping, neither does the company possess adequate insight into the infrastructure or operation of the subcontracted carriers they use, and this leads to serious problems for their costumers as you can verify by reading just about any review site. I take issue with the authenticity of the majority of positive reviews of Parcel Monkey, and I suggest that you carefully read through a selection of them and notice the amount of anonymous posters and repeated, superficially varied posts before you take the gamble and send anything of value using Parcel Monkey as the provider. If you want to ensure a generous delay, the excitement of not knowing which part of your content that will arrived damaged, and thy joy of communicating with a vast variety of help-desk employees who are really grateful for your patience but unfortunately cannot help you (but you are always welcome to contact them should you have any issues), Parcel Monkey is the service for you.
For reference, of the three consignments I shipped with Parcel Monkey several months ago, only one has arrived and it was severely delayed, the content was damaged, and Parcel Monkey had failed to ensure that the subcontracted carrier used the custom documents I supplied them with. As a consequence I have spent hours filing paperwork to the customs authorities in an attempt to have the erroneously administered import tax reimbursed.
Bottom line: life is too short for Parcel Monkey.
After giving you an initial favourable quote. They will subsequently hit you with an 'additional charge' which is x 3 times your original quote! In my case I paid £24, to then be hit with an additional £69 charge!

Lost my parcel PM******* - even though I PAID for insurance it's been over a month and they just say "As soon as we hear back from the courier, we will contact you immediately." They used DHL courier shipment ref: **************. Their claims procedure STINKS!
I have had more packages lost then that have got to were do to go to. The worst do not use unless you want to throw you money and what you are sending away. I give a big 0
After a month of being given the run around, parcel monkey have now admitted the courier they used have lost my parcel. Now trying to claim a refund on the product is another challenge. They thought they had me when I was unable to produce an original invoice, threatening to close the claim without it. Now I've produced the invoice they've replied ( in text messages because you can't speak to anyone) I have to wait 30 days for my claim to be "investigated" and they will be in touch when they know more. I've messaged numerous times asking them to explain their term of "investigate" and why I can't be issued a refund now I've done everything they've asked and my messages are being ignored.
Never use a company with no telephone number!
I sent a package abroad and it was meant to get there within 3-4 days, this is the service that was selected and paid for. The timeframe was even checked via live chat, it has been 9 days and my package is nowhere to be found. It has not been delivered neither can these monkeys tell me where the package is. Poor is an understatement!
Paid for a parcel to go to Europe via DPD, it was never collected and ParcelMonkey refused to give me a refund then stopped responding to me.
Strong advise against using this parcel broker, go direct to the courier. Dubious and suspicious recharges. Very Poor.

This is horrible service provider. They will take your money and lost your luggage. I booked an overseas courier and they conveniently misplaced it and then said we are not responsible.

Had a time sensitive package that needed to be delivered and although ParcelMonkey were more expensive than others thought I'd take a punt as it was a Next Day service. Took a day off from work and when it came to 4pm I started getting nervous so tried contacting PM. Unfortunately, the only way of doing that was through LiveChat (no way of calling in and speaking to someone). LiveChat was practically no help and told me to wait until 6pm. Needless to say no one came and there was no explanation why and no offer to check with the courier.
Ended up cancelling as having spoken to a few others in my line of work they had the same experience so decided to take my customer elsewhere from these cowboys and ended up paying 1/3 less. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
