They not only sent me the wrong Paint, but the totally ignored my emails about the problem. I was so irritated, I disputed the charges with my bank, and got a refund. Stay away from these guys!
Purchased aerosol base coat but didn't use it until after the 75 day return deadline. When I went to spray it a couple blobs came out and then it went dead, no pressure in can. I contacted PaintScratch and all they would do is offer me $2.50 discount on a new can. On top of that they expected me to pay $11.95 for shipping even though my original order was over $100.

I have used products from this company before and was generally satisfied. Only thing I was irritated is it took almost 3 weeks to get my order. This order went south quickly I placed my order Oct 6th was emailed a confirmation Bill the same day. Went to check status of my order on the 13th they had no record of my invoice. So I emailed them asking for status. The answer came back very short of info and customer concern that there was an issue and that it would process shortly. Checked status on the 18th of Oct it still hadn't been processed. Went to cancel the order and after reading there cancellation policy I would still be charged. Very disappointed in their service and lack of customer concern and answering your questions when you try to contact them. I think this will be the last time I order from them we will see how this order ends up but I would suggest read the return or order cancellation policy prior to placing an order as the say buyer beware my bad for not reading them.
I am sorry you did not feel you received your product in a timely fashion. Like many businesses now, we have been adversely affected by shipping delays. We are not UPS or the USPS and I think you should contact them with your shipping concerns. All we can do is trust them to deliver our products. In the past, this has never been an issue until the Covid became a factor.
The color is the same as the 1968 factory one, the shipping was very fast, considering that they shipped outside the us continent, too bad they can't ship bigger jars, otherwise I would have bought them! A +++

I ordered a paint pen for my Jeep, I ordered what I thought was the correct color based on the pictures of the different options however the pictures are not accurate in the slightest and I got the wrong color. I reached out to exchange my pen for the correct color and their answer was to purchase the correct color with a whopping $2.50 discount because "they sent me what I ordered" which I had already explained was a mistake. I'm not a paint expert so I'm surprised at their complete unwillingness to work with me while also trying to get me to spend more money. Would definitely recommended working with a different business that cares about their customers.

Ordered there single stage paint in butternut yellow. The paint laid down like 2stage paint, no gloss, and weak color. The vp of the paint company said I probably should have used a k1 or a k2 single stage paint. But paint scratch doesn't offer any. A complete waste of time and money, I should have paid more attention to the reviews and wouldn't have bought anything from this RIP off group.
I apologize your project didn't turn out as you planned. But single stage paint (the clear is mixed into the paint) needs to be polished with rubbing compound to shine properly. Please take some time to read our directions as this is clearly stated numerous times.

We ordered the paint color needed and it arrived within the week. My mini is a pepper white so its not an everyday color... we followed directions given and it came out perfectly. I am very happy with my results. I previously ordered a paint pen from amazon and it didn't match. Im very happy this company. Very happy.

I ordered $100 worth of materials to touch up my Honda van. Four days after I made the order I unexpectedly secured a loan for my business and decided to paint the entire van. So I contacted Paint Scratch by email and wanted to cancel the order. I was told I had to pay for the base coat with a one line answer. I have no problem with that as I am a painting contractor myself and you can never return or cancel a custom color order. So I asked them to mail the base coat products and not the rest. Like my email was never even read they went and mailed the entire order. I will make sure to never use them again for any project. Your customer service is GARBAGE. I've never treated a customer like that.
Four days after you place an order with us, it's already custom made and in the shipping queue and often cannot be stopped. Why don't you just return the non-custom items you are not using for full credit? Very unfair review.
Perfect match!. I thought I'd give them a try when I went ahead and wanted to attempt some chip and scratch repairs on my 68 Mustang. Yes, the car had been repainted several times over the past 50 years, but it was always repainted using the original paint code. The last repaint was in 2000. Since that time it has been garaged and fortunately doesn't suffer from sunlight UV damage or fading. So I took a chance and ordered a small 1oz bottle and a paint pen. WOW!. I have been thrilled with the product. Can't recommend it enough. Thanks!

I ordered a specific color to match my vehicle, they obviously keyed it in wrong because they sent me a color too dark. I would never have ordered the paint they sent me because my truck is not that color. After numerous emails back and forth, them asking me to send a sample of the paint color to see if it matched their color code. Really? Yes it would match their color code, they filled the order wrong. It was a 2 oz sample bottle that they charged 30.00 for. They could not provide basic customer service, just emails saying to send a sample back. I really wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered. Never again will I use this sham they call a business.
I apologize you had a problem with your paint. However, in order to help you, we do need to see a sample of it. This policy is available to read before you order and in your confirming email. This tells us if we should mix a formula variant and also, if you ordered the correct paint.
You can still send the sample in so we can compare it with our standard to see what the issue was. We have the best customer service in the industry!
I asked a simple question of whether they have and match trim paints and all I received were rude responses saying that I didn't give them enough information to answer the question. I wanted to know if they had them in general, not whether they had it for a specific car. Literally the response from them when I asked a second time was: We do not have the resource to answer your question.

A paint match failure rate of 40% shows their quality control is exceptionally bad. Over the prior three years I have purchased touch-up paint for five vehicles, three worked out but two were unacceptable. When you spend hours in surface preparation, sanding, primer, color coat and finally clear coat you expect a generally positive result. My experience with PAINT SCRATCH automotive touch up paint products is a 40% failure rate. Missing the color match by 5 - 10 shades is totally unacceptable to anyone.
When you get in touch with PAINT SCRATCH employees their resolution is to send you a new can of the same color coat. Are you kidding? With a 40% failure rate why would I trust their ability to do it correctly a second time, pulling another can off the shelf made at the same time or with the same method as before? I just can't trust them to give me the correct color and shade they advertise to sell.
Seriously! Currently I see of 35 different reviews 29 individuals gave them one star, that's 83% of their customers' think they stink!

If you want real reviews, go on Amazon where a customer actually has to buy the paint and the reviews are genuine. This one is not.

Color was not quite correct, but I used whole can trying to get an even coat. They refused to give me a replacement can of paint since mine was empty. Do not buy from this seller.
If you use a whole can of paint on your job and ran out, you did not follow our instructions! We give explicit instructions on how many spray cans to order depending on how big an area you are painting. Why were you entitled to free paint from us? Auto refinishing takes practice and time. Your review is very unfair.
I had previously ordered 2 cans on separate occasions from paintscratch.com. Without issue with paint color matching. The third time, the paint I received was too dark and did not match. I emailed them, and instead of offering a refund, they asked me to send a sample in the mail back to them to verify. What a hassle, of mailing, waiting for them to recieve it, and then waiting on them to determine that the color did not in fact match. As I live in Canada it was to much of a hassle going back to the border and receiving another can of paint from my p. O. box, as they do not ship to Canada. Not good customer service. Go to Lordco auot parts, as they will mix your paint within 15 minutes and the color is bang on. Wished I had known this before I dealt with paintscratch.
I ordered the paint color listed inside my car door. It was WAY too dark. Not even close to the correct color. So I sent the company a sample of the paint that they sent me, and they told me it was an "exact match" with their paint and therefore the problem must be with my car (the paint had faded or the car had been repainted). That's absolute crap. My car is only 4 years old, so there is no way that the paint could have faded to that extent, and it hasn't been repainted. The company doesn't offer refunds for paint, so I'm out $35. Please, don't waste your time or money with these con artists.
Try going to a local auto body shop supply store and compare the color code you sent us with their color chip. You will find they are in fact an exact match.
I am waiting on a paint pen for my compass Jeep. I am told that I have to wait till 914 orders are filled before they can ship my ONE touch up pen. When I contacted Customer service, can mo talk to an actual person. Got an email from some guy Dave telling me it takes this long to mix and make a single pen! Wanted to cancel, but no response to that, totally ignored me about my request. I usually check reviews before I order anything online. But I really dropped the ball here. This place should really be reported to the BBB. They are getting away with murder here, and to me they are crooks.
When you provide the excellent service we do, word of mouth spreads and you get lots of orders. You order will be processed in the order received. Summer is a particularly busy time of year and we try our best to ship the orders out as quickly as possible. If you were our only customer, then yes, we could ship it the same day. I was getting paint for a brand new travel trailer they had all the info. The color they sent me was way lighter than the color of the travel trailers Rockwood only has one beige and they miss it totally and they wouldn't even take back the stuff I didn't open poor poor return policy. Do yourself a favor and buy from anyone else.
Don't you just hate it when a company has a CLEARLY stated policy about paint for motorhomes, travel trailers, boats and motorcycles and then ACTUALLY enforces the policy? You received THREE warnings before you ordered. We have no color chips for these off branded colors and have nothing to compare them to. Please believe our return policy next time!
Any normal business has some kind of return policy. These wise guys don't.
They do communicate with you but at the end of all those threads back and forth you would realize that the bottom line is: if you for any reason are not happy with your purchase, forget it - no return or refund are available.

Ordered touch up paint a month ago. They sent paint for model year 2018 vehicle, mine is 2016. After over a month explaining and sending pictures of the issue and the paint color I need, they just ignore my emails. They responded a couple of times but took zero action, and I still do not have the paint. Beyond terrible customer service... I would avoid using this company at all costs.
