So far, ordering experience and availability of product are helpful
First time ordering here and it has been a very smooth transaction.
Great, website was easy to use in finding the right paint color.
So far so good, thank you. The color match was perfect couldn't ask for a better match. So glad to have found your site. Again THANK YOU so much..
Easy to order and high quality product made me a return customer.
Great ease in ordering. Found the paint needed for extremely rare car.
I've now ordered from paint scratch twice and will be a third! They mix up the color from the original paint code and I'm thankful! There also pretty fast on mixing and shipping it to you. I'm very happy and very grateful that paint scratch is available.
Very easy to order. Many options depending on the paint project you are dealing with. Order was received in less than a week.
Easy to find paint, easy to order Paint matched original paint perfectly!
Easy to move around in... easy to order and the packaging was great...
Satin steel gray metallic was very thin. Wouldn't cover gray primer after 6 coats. It was like water with a little gray food coloring. Because I was able to coat their card after 6 coats, they claimed that it was a perfect match and wouldn't make it right. I already stated that the color wasn't the problem but it was the consistency of the paint. No reply. I won't be buying their paint again.
Purchased white touch up paint for my Hyundai Sonata, followed the instructions, and the paint mostly if not all had chipped off within 6 months. After going back and forth with "Dave" for 2 weeks answering his questions about how I applied the paint, he graciously offered me a $2.50 discount off some new paint! What a joke. I will never give this place business again
NEVER order anything from this company. You will lose your money and either get the wrong product or get nothing at all and you will NOT get your money back or anything corrected. THIS COMPANY WILL SCREW YOU AND ROB YOU!
I was asked to provide my GM paint code. I received the paint and it didn't match. There was very little paint in the pen. When I contacted them about the issue, they asked me to send them back the miniscule paint they gave me to fix my scratch.
I ordered an AMC 39A Matador Red 2 oz touch up bottle from Paint Scratch. What I received was laughable - if I hadn't spent $37 all in. It was so dark I could have used it on a black car. After looking at their non refund, no return, no make it right "guarantee" - and all the negative reviews on this forum - I ordered from a competitor of theirs. Automotive Touchup nailed it. Perfect match. See the photo I attached. Paint Scratch, Ruth Bock and Colin H. Need to close up shop and stop screwing people.
I lost the color code on my Audi, so I took a best guess, and ordered from Paintscratch.com. Very poor match, which had me 2nd guessing my best guess. Tried to contact via email, no response. They have a form to complete if the color doesn't match, apparently this happens often? I ordered the same color coder from a different online vendor, and it was a perfect match. I highly recommend not to use paintscratch.com, but the other online "direct" supplier.
I just wanted a dark Green for my motor home. They had the dark forest green on the web site for my motor home. I did not need a perfect match, just something to paint some trim pieces. I ordered it and when I received it, it was a silver mist with a hint of green. Figuring it was a simple mix problem, I tried to reach out. Multiple emails and phone calls. They will not pick up the phone or return them When emailing, they just keep saying they mixed it right even when I showed the color form the website was not anywhere close to it they again denied it. Dave as it has on the email string appears to not have a clue or any shred of customer service skills. Going to keep fighting them until I get my money back
I was painting the roof and trunk and needed 1C5 Silver Strata for a 2001 Toyota Prius but they sent 1C5 Silver Graphite which was never a color for a Prius that year. Their return policy basically gives them the right to give you anything and there is nothing you can do about it. I will still complain to the Better Business Bureau and State attorney general to help other people though. Oh well. I will get the correct paint from Automotive Touchup whose 1C5 was perfectly correct when I painted the hood 2 years ago. I mistakingly used PaintScratch this time. The pictures show how terrible PaintScratch did on the roof and trunk and how perfect the hood was from their competitor. I wasted my time and money dealing with PaintScratch.
I apologize you felt the paint did not match. Did you fill out our form at: https://www.paintscratch.com/support/returns.htm? If we mixed the paint incorrectly, we send out replacement paint at no charge.
1C5 was used on the 2001 Toyota Prius.
Answer: Yes, we are a legitimate company. The vast majority of our customers have a great experience shopping with us and using our products. We're not perfect, and thus there are some unhappy customers like Alicia, but we absolutely strive to do a great job and make it right with every issue that arises.
Answer: I would use the paint within six months.
A vehicle this old, the original paint would be completely different. I believe this is a fake review.
