July 7,2016 I ordered two Crystal lamps from Overstock. They were left at the wrong address and upon investigation delivery left on a front porch and not given to a person or signed for. The package was stolen and they will not refund me. I am out over $200. This will be the last time I order from them. In spent hours working with them and to no avail.

Terrible customer service.

I attempted to purchase a bed for my 90-year-old mother who is moving into assisted living. I received an email from overstock that the bed would not be delivered for 10 days to 4 weeks. I needed the bed sooner, so within 18 hours attempted to cancel the order. I was charged $69.00 because supposedly the bed was already on it's way from New York to Indiana. I then ordered another bed which indicated it could be delivered by the date I needed it. Then received an email that that order had been cancelled. I called and the representative would not tell me anything because I had used my mother's credit card. I did not want any personal information about her, I just wanted to know what happened or what they needed for me to get the bed. I ordered a bed from Amazon and it is being delivered tomorrow. I will never order another thing from Overstock.com and I would recommend Amazon. Their service is so superior.

Love that they send out discount emails occasionally, free shipping and a HUGE selection of items(ANYTHING) you could need to decorate or update your home.
They only need to work on the ease of using the website. They did not have an option to save your "favorites" for a long time, I like to shop tentatively and then look at everything I "earmarked" and compare prices, stats etc., before I make the purchase. It is hard to make a final choice if you cannot see all options in one section. I believe they may have fixed this recently though.

I ordered a bathroom Vanity and was so excited about having it in my bathroom! After having to take a morning off work to have it delivered, it arrived late, I hired a plumber to install it. When he removed it from the packaging, there was a large crack in the marble and it had come away from the under mounted sink. I contacted overstock, hard to get someone on the phone. After calling for 2 days and spending 20 mins on hold being cut off and waiting again to speak to a supervisor, they offered me $100 to replace the marble myself, they were not very accommodating. I refused and now have to wait a week with this oversized item in my living room to have it returned, take another morning off work and still I have no vanity! Their customer service is appalling! So 2 mornings off work and the price of a plumber and I still have no Vanity! Im sure Ill have to wait for a full refund too! Stay away from Overstock!

Too Pricey Now

When this site first started up, I was able to find unbelievable bargains, and ordered quite often. Then they became extremely overpriced, I suppose to make up for their free and/or low cost shipping. I now very rarely visit this site, knowing I can do better elsewhere.

I love me some Overstock

This site is great for your one stop all purpose shopping needs. The only suggestion is to make sure you read the product reviews and pay close attention to dimensions/size of the product. I've made several purchases from furniture to jewelry and I have zero complaints :)

Good service

I purchased a floor lamp from Overstock.com. There price was very good. They gave me another 15% discount and shipped the material on the specified date. The communication thru text messages also worked very well. I really liked this company and will make future purchases. I highly recommend this company.

Bought a talking watch for my blind friend's Birthday. 3 people tried to set the watch and failed. Talking voice was hard to hear. Sent it back next day. Was charged tax and shipping to receive. Lost all, plus restocking fee. This is my first and last purchase from OverStock.

I usually do a search when there is something I want to buy and Overstock tends to be more expensive along with other sites. I think there has only been 2 items that I have purchased here that I got a better deal on but most of the time not.

Be very careful.

I've come up with some scary pop-ups on this website. I have a full pop-up blocker activated -- these even get through that. The kind that want to scan your computer or want you to call a toll-free number to "fix" a security issue. Making a note to myself to STAY AWAY from Overstock.com.

Stick with Amazon

I ordered a rug that looked completely different when it arrived than it did online. The return process is not straightforward and has involved several emails and a phone call just to get the process initiated. The $40 return shipping fee just adds insult to injury. Definitely won't ever order from Overstock again.

Shipping Issues

Overstock and its customer service is great but they are using a shipping company that is terrible. Its been 13 days since I ordered and still no package. Original delivery date was 4 days from order date. When you need an order right away I would look elsewhere. To bad, I liked Overstock.

Totally Inept

I ordered an outdoor sofa and the wrong color was delivered. I rejected the item on the spot and had the delivery guy take it back. It took days to get a response to my calls and emails to Overstock.com. More than two weeks later I still don't have an update on when the correct sofa will even leave their warehouse, let alone, when it will arrive. By the time the right sofa arrives, summer will be over. Of course, I have already paid for the sofa.

I placed an order for a king comforter for my daughter as her mother in-law was coming for Mother's Day. It said on line it was delivered but she didn't receive it so I called customer service an was told it was never picked up at their warehouse. I asked if they would deliver overnight or 2 day as her mother in-law was coming for Mother's Day and all she had on the bed was sheets. She said it is not their policy to do that and it would be be delivered on time. Can you imagine, its their fault and too bad for he customer. I will never shop there again! Wayfair is a fair superior Company it's just they didn't carry this comforter set.

I bought a twin car race bed for my toddler boy whom is obsessed with everything cars right now and this bed is valued about $1500. The manufacturer of the bed had a defect on the lighting system and there was also a part that was not fitting properly. We love the bed overall and would do whatever it takes to fix the issue but it seems the manufacturer was not cooperating and Overstock is just so punctual in following through with all of their timelines that they had no time to waste with the manufacturer and worked with me directly to get the fastest most desired resolution to the problem. I appreciate this online company so much and because of this I always try to make my biggest purchases here as I trust them in handling the products, it's always packed with TLC and arrives as promised. They offer great value and quite frankly unbeatable service! I always get live personnel on the phone so amazon who?

My order was to be delivered last Wednesday. Received call that part was lost. I was understanding then. Here it is day 6 and neither Overstock nor the delivery company seem to have any desire to locate the item or call me back.

The lamp we purchased arrived in a badly beaten box, resulting in a crooked, dented lampshade. I called Overstock to ask if they would send another shade without me having to return the whole lamp. They told me I didn't have to return anything, and in exchange for a few pictures of the damage they would send me a new lamp. 5 minutes on the phone, problem solved.

I ordered a toilet tank and expected it in 3 to 4 business days, to cut a long story short, it was sent UPS and on the day of 1 day late delivery the unit was broken. I immediately called and was informed by a Chelsea at customer service there that my options were cancellation and 2 day refund or replacement in the same time frame as the original order. I queried this as I needed this for a job that I had a time frame on and that was going to leave me late> I queried as it was UPS who broke the unit the least that they could do was to expedite the shipment, she told me no period. I asked for a supervisor she completely ignored me. I am completely sorry that I even joined their club. The previous Girl from customer service a Dominique was a tremendous asset, she needs to leave or revamp this outfit. I only give an additional star because of her.

I bought a bookcase which had not reached its destination. Their logistic company damaged it. I am still waiting for a refund, for more than one week. I had to involve my credit card company to get a charge back. I'll never buy again.

I ordered jewelry (rings) from Overstock and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality... much nicer than I expected for the price. Beautifully packaged and delivered to my door within two days... two thumbs up!
