The first time I tried calling them to see if there were pieces in the collection that I ordered which was patio furniture we're coming back in stock. It was the Lowell collection. They have yet to answer my question. Also I ordered some patio chairs and the board where you adjust the back was split and you cannot adjust the back of this lounge chair. I have only had the chairs for about 2 weeks

I just used overstock for the first time to by a 4 piece bedroom furniture set costing over $1,000 and by the reviews I was pretty nervous but I am sooo happy to say I received all my furniture right on time and everything was in excellent condition and as advertised. I honestly do not have one bad thing to say about my experience and will not hesitate to use them again!

I purchased a bed from overstock and was so excited about how much I saved. I was ok with the possible month it took to receive it because I did it within enough time. After a week of purchase date I got an email stating that the bed was out of stock. It took them a week after purchase to inform me, I have family coming in from out of the country and bought the bed and the mattress for them. If I wanted to buy another bed it would not get to me on time. The coupon I used on the previous bed is now expired. I spoke to customer service to see if they would honor the coupon on a new bed purchase and upgrade my shipping since it was their fault and I got a big fat no. They actually used the words " For your information". Really who talks to customers like that who are upset. I really don't think my request was unreasonable.

I purchased 5 rugs from overstock.com and lets just say those rugs look completely different on the picture. The size and quality was ok but design is terrible and it wasnt what we expected. When I called to return they told me that the cost to return rugs would be over $120 and we pay total of $270 for all five rugs. The girl on the phone was nice but she said thats the policy and they will have to charge the return fee. How ridiculous, I never have to pay return fee for anything I ordered from Amazon.com. I know for sure that after this experience Ill never order from Overstock.com again. If they want to keep their customers they will have to change the return policy because it doesnt make any sense to pay over $100 just to return something you dont like.

Worst service
August 7, 2017

I am very disappointing. I bought train boots from overstock.com these boots came with a hole on the sole and are not water proof, making walking in the rain the worst experience. When contacting overstock i was faced with the worst customer service, very unimpressed.

BEWARE
September 5, 2020

I purchased a chandelier for $600 and there were no written instructions. I contacted Overstock repeatedly, and eventually the manufacturer. No help with written instructions. I paid for 2 different installers and an electrician and nobody could figure it out. 9 months later, I have to throw it away and Overstock would not help with any store credit.

I don't write many reviews but this is the second time I've had a bad experience with overstock. First item was missing parts that I never got and table leg was bent out of shape. Second order apparently left warehouse so fast I couldn't cancel but yet. 10 days later. Has not arrived. No update at all. Go to wayfair or anyplace else. I won't order again.

Knew Not New
June 9, 2017

Overstock shipped me their version of a "New" sink. Damaged (dented) with parts in a torn and poorly taped box contained inside a store bought sandwich zip-lock bag. Now I may have to kerp this big box containing used & damaged item for almost two weeks before OS's contracted Carier can retrieve it from my home for return. Not worth the aggravation and deceptive sales practice. Stay away.

I bought a gazebo in April and by August is was faded as if I had it several years. I contacted Overstock company who referred me to the manufacturer who was no help and referred me back to overstock. I am requesting a partial refund for the product. I purchased it from Overstock and do not understand why I'm getting the runaround!

Wrong Item Sent

They sent me a completely different item that what I ordered. I ordered a wall organizer. Instead, I was sent a horrible gold wall ornament that I didn't order! The receipt enclosed in the package matched what I ordered, but the item sent was wrong. Do they not double check items before sending? I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. My credit card company fixed the issue and I was reimbursed. Never buying from this company again.

I ordered perfume for my wife for Christmas and it turns out it was one that she did not like. Contacted overstock to ask about getting a refund or exchange and was told that because it was a personal item, they cannot issue a refund or exchange. I responded to them asking why a perfume was considered a personal item but did not receive an answer to that question and was told bluntly that as far as they were concerned the issue had been resolved and that they would not issue a refund or accept the perfume in exchange for credit. I will never buy from them again and strongly recommend anyone wanting to buy perfume from them to not do so.

Bamboo sheet sets
October 30, 2020

Ordered, received and laundered. The sheets were very flimsley, smaller than regular queen sized for top sheet. They came out of dryer so wrinkled I should have ironed them, yes, I followed instructions on label. After I washed and dried I could not return. Do not waste your money and be careful when you purchase from overstock. If the price is to good to be true don't niu it. Could probably have gotten a better quality from Walmart.

I ordered some skincare from overstock.com it is to drive for my scan and now they are refusing to refund the $135 that I spent saying that it plainly said they do not take back health and beauty products they could at least give me credit with overstock I'm very unhappy with his company and I choose not to do business with them anymore and that is my review. My name is Lana Sprague and I have thoroughly disgusted at this company when you first call they play music with Anson Inc. that they are there to please their customers. Bull they do nothing to please their customers all I asked for was in store credit and they will not give it to me I will never shop with couldn't with the overstock.com again

Purchased LG Window A/C Unit (refurbished). Same exact model had over 4yrs. I didn't take it out of box and install right away because wasn't using the room for awhile and then temps dropped.
Because it was just beyond 30 days Overstock won't stand behind "product that doesn't work, defective out of box."
Has power but doesn't cool.
Cooling dial defective.
Out $189.00

Good deals if you dig!

I ordered some gorgeous white shag carpets here at a fraction of the cost of California Shag. The quality was nice, shipping was easy (even for large items), and the return policy is pretty generous.

I also ordered an eiffel chair that was to be assembled at home. The chair is gorgeous, but the instructions were incomplete, and it was hard to assemble. That said, the reviews for the chair warned me, but I took the chance.

Overall, the quality of all items offered varies, but by doing a bit of digital digging and reading the reviews, it's possible to get a great deal!

They offer diamonds and expensive items with virtually no warranty. A sketchy return policy and do not respond to customer emails about unsavory corporate donations to orgs that misrepresent dog breeds.

Ordered set of nesting tables. When they arrived there was large sticker on glass top which stated that product exposes one to toxins including lead. While they would allow me to disassemble, rebox and return for refund, they said they had no obligation to inform purchasers in advance of this issue. Really?! No longer an Overstock customer.

They sent me the wrong order twice. Impossible to get the merchandise picked up. When they finally pick it up they send the wrong item again. Spent nearly 5 hours over multiple days on the phone with them and UPS. After the maxed out my Overstock credit card they wanted another card to charge an additional $250. They told me it can take up to 21 days to pick up a return and issue a credit.
750$ later I still have not received the correct order. This is such a scam!

I ordered a rug for my daughters room, the pictures looked super and I was excited to get it. When it arrived and I opened to lay out it was falling apart, the color were different from the photos not slightly but completely different pieces were coming oi all directions it was a total mess and just so poorly made. I contacted customer service the next day they were so rude and unhelpful with the return process and now that I have returned it and its been at the warehouse for over four days they have yet to issue a refund and when I contacted customer service again today once again so rude and not helpful at all. They just continue to tell you they will email you when they are refund you... yeah well whens that going to happen? No answers given! They were quick to take my money though!
