Please be very careful, when buying tickets they do practice price gauging and creating artificial shortages, in order to up-sell their customers.
When trying to contact them there is only automated messages and no help.
The site was super easy to navigate. I purchased my tickets in just a couple of clicks. The instructions were clear. I have used other online providers. OnlineCityTickets has been my best experience so far.
$28 service fee each ticket & a $7.50 download fee for E-tickets is a little excessive! Otherwise, was satisfied with good seats. Should just add an additional $15 into ticket price and skip the fees.
I was impressed by the convenience of downloading your tickets and not having to find the ticket office to pick up your purchase. What I didn't like was the hefty surcharges which raised my final cost to almost 30% of my initial buy. Now if you do the math and consider your yield as it relates to cost, the consumer really is getting a bad deal for the time saved. After all, everything is electronically processed through a program that takes away the cost of paying people processing fees. In the future I will consider if it's better to have my tickets placed on hold and then pick up when I arrive at the venue.
Fast delivery on the tickets received them with in 2 hours of ordering, but here is the bad, the service charges was a bit to much, charged for each ticket, had no choice for kids tickets, but took them any way next time I will just drive to Greenville and pick up and save 40 dollars. Would not let me use pay pal account kept sending me back to order page had to use their account.
I'm writing this because I dunno if I'm supposed to do it to confirm my ticket order? Also, $16 for a service fee just so I could print the tickets at home? That seems kinda odd. Oh well. I don't splurge on concerts a lot.
Very easy and fast booking, booking fees are a little overpriced tho. I would prefer more row info on the out rings of roger stadium floor plan as well as some in advance info about the parking situation. However, overall it was a pleasant purchase
This service SUCKS. RUN the opposite direction. $21 service and $6 fee to deliver ticket via email? Really? Greek Theater figure out another way because this is high way robbery. They basically resell tickets and then charge you a ton of fees to make $$.
Cheaper than Flash seats and the process was so smooth. I liked that you had a picture of the arena for me to click on desired areas to scope out options and pricing other sites dont have that capability. Will use again in the future.
I got tickets via email and timely however; I doubt I use this site again due to the absurdly high fees associated. They are not shown until you are at final payment section in the totals - no way should there be this cost per ticket!
Worst company I have ever experienced. I would never recommend or do business with them again. Lost $175, because I didn't read the fine print in the policies that basically says even if it's their fault and there is an error on their end they will never give you a refund, because "that's how they make their money and if they made any exceptions they would go out of business." There is no chance of a refund even when they are in the wrong, because they have thought of every possible scenario (included in very small print) to prevent you from getting your money back. Steer clear. Apparently, they value ripping people off more than high customer ratings, because that's how they stay in business. Can't wait to see their words eat them for dinner. They will go out of business, because when people read these awful reviews they will know to never purchase from this company and to look elsewhere (anywhere else!). It's that bad people.
I bought six concert tickets only to find out that I was charge almost $28.00 per ticket in service fees. Not to mention $14.95 FedEx shipping fee, as they do not offer lesser expensive USPS service.
What a rip off... I would never buy tickets from this site again!
Terrible, I bought these as an xmas present and coming from someone who doesn't know much about tickets I thought this seemed like a good place to get them from. Wrong. I feel completely taken advantage of by the price. So deceiving and disrespectful as a company. Never again.
Arrived fast, download was super easy. However, the actual cost of the service fees seemed WAY too high. Hard to say I'll be using this as a first (or second... or third) option when service fees add nearly $100 extra!
The only thing unexpected was the extra fees but you will get this on any ticket purchasing site. I was able to get decent seats for hundreds less than other sites around. I'd definitely recommend this site. My tickets were emailed to me within a few minutes of purchase.
Nice and easy! A Pleasure! I felt this was secure way of using my credit card over the web. Normally I sweat bullets about things like this but everything happened just as it should with constant affirmations being sent to me. A very nice and safe service to use!
The site was very user friendly. However, I bought 4 tickets that should of come out to $124.00 and in the end they added on another $45.34 for fees and services that are not explained and show up at confirmation.
Thought this was the official ticket site and was in a hurry, so I didn't investigate further. Payed double what the same tickets at the box office cost. My fault for not snooping around. I won't make that mistake again.
Emma was polite and helpful. The tickets we chose had the section & row but not the seat info, which would have been nice! Also wish after the purchase we could print the tickets, have to wait for the seller (said by 6/30/18). Didn't understand the email charge, never got charged that before. StubHub doesn't charge that fee. Over all my experience was okay. Hopefully we'll get the tickets soon & are what we purchased! Also found out I paid $9 more than StubHub! :(
I clicked on orchestra right row G tickets and now the tickets state Balcony. I'm not sure how that happened. We were recently at your theatre for the Kansas show & your attendants were Nazis. Including the downstairs woman's room attendant. BTW - Kansas did NOT prohibit taking videos. I know because I asked them personally. They only prohibit Live Streaming. Hopefully this next experience is better for the audience.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
