The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

It was very easy. No trouble at all. Quick, easy, and convenient. I wish more websites were easy. Just follow the steps and get your tickets. No, sorry we couldn't go though. And after the 8 try finally go though. Was very nice fore something to work like it was suppose to. Very refreshing for it just to go though the first try. I think will try this option first for now on.
Loved the selection, price and ease of purchase- I was able to instantly download and print my tickets - so looking forward to the concert!
The tickets were $45 face value but I paid $88 each and then fees on top of this.
Just wanted to pre-warn you if you use this service.
Printed tickets and all looks fine. Enjoyed the quick and easy ticket process. Seems the easiest and quickest way to attain tickets. Appreciated the selection too. So far, I would use this method again to purchase tickets.
Service fees were $50 for ONE ticket, about twice the most I've ever paid. They're lucky Tool sold out so quick and I wanted to go so badly, otherwise I will not use them again.
I paid $643 for $286 worth of tickets. I get it, you SHOULD pay a fee for convenience, but a markup of over $50 per ticket, then some kind of "service fee" of another $37 per ticket. I paid $159 per ticket, imagine my surprise when I actually got the tickets and the face value was $71.50! My bad, I should have done my homework. I will not make this mistake again.
First time I printed my own tickets. It was pretty easy. Can't wait to see Dave and the band. Super excited. Cya
Ordered my tickets for the concert on Friday was shipped to my door Monday they seem a little pricey and was charged an extra 40 dollars a tickets for service charges
It was really easy to order my tickets. But for my first order it was really difficult to understand where i Will be sit for the show. Maybe for the next time it will be quicker to order my tickets.
I'm really happy with this service. Is faster and reliable l can't wait for the event so exited also l love the place where the event gonna be.
I love how smoothly and efficiently I was able to order and receive my tickets. That process was great. I just think the fees were a little excessive. I paid double the amount of the ticket in fees. I didn't like that part at all
Will use them again for my ticket needs!
Thank you for a great user friendly app. This review is making it where I can't submit my review until I have 100characters. That's annoying!
I found this web site for tickets to be very user friendly. I did not have to go through the hassle of extra passwords and other tweaks to purchase the tickets.
Everything was simple. Only thing I didnt like was the only mailing option being overnight delivery. The response time and receipt delivery were very quick. This purchase was my first through OnlineCityTickets, will definitely be using it again, and also referring it to friends.
I tried to buy three tickets to a baseball game. I did not get the tickets and was given a reason that was not true. I went on the chat line and was given a number to call. After a long time someone came on and said I would need to speak to a supervisor. Again I waited a long, long time. Someone else came on and said I would still need to speak to someone else. I waited until I realized that we could not get to the game on time, and I hung up. I purchased the tickets at the box office, but we were late.
Wonderful- singers are very good, spot on, as my daughter would say the actors are very good as well, very enjoyable, very impressive, but we need to sit closer next time
Very pleased with the tickets. Price and location were wonderful.
I was apprehensive at first because I had never used this website before and I know there are a lot that are not legitimate.
Easy and quick the way I like it!
Not like others out there!
Keep up the good work!
Is this for anybody? Hell yah!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
