The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I had no problem getting my tickets. It came to my by email the next day, and I printed it and was ready to go. I cannot wait for this concert and this website made it much easier.
Going on the road soon, so receiving the order so promptly was wonderful! Order tracking was spot on.
Ordering was easy. And hassle free. Although when ordering the tickets it was hard to know exactly where the seats were. It gave you just the section and row. No # of the seat in the row. A d the diagram of the arena doesn't show you the rows is in section
Had I known the service charges on these tickets would increase the total charge by nearly 1/3, i might have looked elsewhere. That's too much for the service to buy tickets to a local show.
$10 charge per ticket is waaayy out of line and then another $7 just to send an email! This was 33% of the ticket cost. Just too much.
I searched for a band tour dates and this site came up. I thought this site was the sole ticket agent for the venue. I was wrong. Tickets are priced 20 bucks more than the venue and the service fee over 20 bucks for each ticket purchased. Go to the venue site before purchasing here unless you are desperate for hard to get tickets. For this particular show, plenty of tickets were still available in the section I wanted.
You guy's made this system so easy to use. This was the first time I ever ordered anything online and you all made it into a simple 3 step system. Thanks and I look forward to using your system again...
Scalpers. Did not receive tkts we paid for. Says 100%guarantee. Not. Do not purchase tickets from here. They even told us they charge 100% more than what they pay.
I bought concert tickets on this site Tuesday at 6am, got UPS overnight shipping, and received my tickets Thursday at 5pm. I can't wait!
Good, but I bought 2 tickets and my expectation was that both seats were side by side because we are couple
Dramatic up-charging of tickets! I purchased tickets for Sebastian Maniscalco for 4-21-17. Show was just cancelled the day before until Nov. 4,2017. I'm NOT available on that date. OnlineCity Tickets will NOT refund my money! I committed to the purchase & date for 4-21-17, NOT 6.5 months in the future. They are frauds & scam artists! I should have the option of a refund or to reschedule, NOT them dictating to me. I purchased the tickets in good faith for that date & NO other!
We received tickets right away and there was good follow up from company. Whole process was very easy and website was easy to navigate.
I receive my ticket for coldplay coldplay coldplay coldplay i happy for my ticket for the concert coldplay
Smooth-Quick-No Hassle
I got the tickets I wanted. I enjoyed the smooth process that Online City Tickets provides
Ordering was easy, everything went through with no hiccups and we received our tickets soon after ordering. We are very satisfied with the service and will use it again.
My review was good. My service was great and excellent. Tickets came so fast. Everything came out to be perfect, I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would definitely recommend a lot of people about this website.
Purchased 4 tickets to Eric Church as a Christmas present for the family. I paid 150 for each ticket plus 150 surcharge tax not included. When I was finally able to print the tickets (16 hrs before the show) the price indicated on the tickets were 40.00 and no the seating section I selected. So... there was a 90 up charge for each ticket and a 150 surcharge? I will never purchase tickets from Online City Tickets again! Criminal.
I purchased 3 tickets for $400 thinking from online purchase balcony
Lower left stage tickets in fact night of show were 3 seats highest
Back wall of theatre which when checking into would have sold for $150
Online tickets had the Ticketmaster logo but were not. Scammed thru
Online City Tickets.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
