The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Everything was really fast and easy. It was really simple for me to figure everything out. Most definitely a 5 star rating. I will most definitely order from here again.
Ton's Of Fees And No Chance To Review The Final Price Of Your Order Before Purchase. Sneaky And Dishonest.
It takes awhile to receive the tickets. I ordered my tickets March 28th and I still not have receive my tickets yet. The event starts next Thursday and I hope I get my tickets soon!
Great seats, great price, (though service fee is a tad high), and IMMEDIATE download of tickets, rather than waiting for two months til the concert; and HOPING your tickets arrive in the mail in time! Great experience!
Work really well super easy and fast liked being able to print my tickets would recommend to anyone super easy to use liked it alot
Found out the face value of our tickets were $37.50, which was then jacked up to almost $60 each by some seller, and then you added another almost $40 in fees onto it. So now, for 2 tickets, I am paying almost $160 that should have only cost me $90, at most, with taxes. So I paid just under double what the cost should have been.
Love the fact that I don't have to wait in line for this event! I got approved for my tickets immediately!
Horrible experience... Lesson learned... buyer beware! I will never buy from this site ever again...
The price of the tickets were slightly cheaper than I thought. I am very happy with them, and my location in the audience
Good way to buy seats to shows with limited access to get good spots that wouldn't be available otherwise
When I printed my tickets I was shocked to see a notation on the ticket stating they were beside the stage. This was the first time this warning showed on any of the web pages or order forms. I paid $203 US each for the tickets plus the service charges. I could have purchased tickets one section over for the same price that wouldn't have had the same problem. I will be very disappointed if our view is obstructed in any way. If this is the case I would not use OnlineCity tickets for any other event.
I just bought concert tickets for Jimmy Buffet and they were listed at $230 each. However, once I checked out and finalized my order, I ended up paying $607.80. Huge difference.
Very easy and efficient transaction to purchase tickets to a local show. Had never purchased via OnlineCity before, but will certainly do so again should the occasion arise.
I ordered two tickets to Jersey Boys last night (4/17/17) for the 4/23/17 performance. After selecting the date and time and entering my credit card info I hit "order" and nothing happened. The message essentially that there was something irregular about my credit card. There was no explanation detailing the problem; no option to make corrections and no information about whether my card had been charged for the tickets or the order automatically cancelled. So I started the process all over again with a different credit card and the order went through and I got my tickets for April 23. However, while the tickets do reflect they are for the April 23rd performance, they also note the ticket issue date as October 25,2016. Is that a problem? I have no idea. I just know it's wrong. Again, there is no one to talk to about this which means I'll need to just show up on the 23rd and hope for the best.
I know I paid more for these tickets, and I'm a little confused why my name isn't on them, but they were ready for download almost instantlt.
I would recommend getting your tickets elsewhere. These guys provide the worst customer service. Look into being courteous to your customers. Thanks.
Thank you. We will enjoy the event and will be back for other events in the future.
We plan on doing more and this site was informative and useful.
I loved the website. The speed that information updates and displays as filters change is awesome! Most of all OnlineCity Tickets delivers! My tickets arrived at my office overnight days before the expected delivery date. Thank you!
Easy to use website I would use again! The seats were easy to see and choose and the checkout process was simple. Also love the instant email download so I can have my tickets in hand!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
