The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Was the easiest process ever to get my tickets
I clicked how many I wanted, clicked that I wanted to pay with my paypal account, submitted and any couple minutes later, I had my confirm email within minutes. I printed out my tickets. The whole process took less than 5 min
Everything went well. I received the tickets via email. So far so good. The only thing I don't like is having to enter a minimum number of characters on this review.
Perfect easy transaction. Got tix lightning fast overnight mail. I would definitely buy my tickets from this seller again.
The One online tickets sellers that does not confuse what you want and not what they want. I picked my own. THANK YOU.
This was an easy site to navigate. Did it while making dinner in about 5 minutes. My sons favorite band he will be so excited to get these tix.
I had to pay an extra 100.00 for these tickets and they would not let you cancel them when you found out that this was a resell sight. I would never use them again. They made you think that it is the real venue site because they are the first thing listed when you type in klipsch Music Center.
I was able to find and pay for the tickets easily with no hassle and it didn't take long for my instant download
It was very fast an easy... don't have the tickets in my hand yet but promised an confirmed an has ways to contact them if something happens... good place to place an order
The entire process was effortless. Looking forward to using the tickets! I only wish I could select the row that I wanted... but am happy with what we got.
OnlineCityTickets never had a signature requirement placed on the delivery of the tickets. We never received the tickets and they are not willing to help out with this situation. Use someone else!
I ordered 2 tickets for the Riverdance show 3 weeks ago and received 3 emails telling me the emailed tickets would arrive in my inbox by April 16th. The day is almost over and yet no tickets have arrived. If not in my inbox by 12 midnight I am going to call my credit card company first thing in the morning and file fraud charges against this company. Have never had to wait this long for tickets from other companies. The show is Tuesday.
EXCELLENT! Am very excited and looking forward to see the Jersey Boys! I hope you could deliver the two tickets in time before this wonderful event. Thank you so much!
I bought tickets, at the last minute, for a play, two days prior to the show. I paid a ton of money for the tickets. On the Special Instructions it stated that we needed to pick up the tickets near the venue. The instructions stated "UPS Location" with an address. The address was a FedEx address and the FedEx personnel pointed us to the UPS store as that is what the paper says that we showed them. The UPS store was closed, it was a Sunday. So we went back to FedEx and they said they couldn't help us. Ridiculous! We ended up getting the tickets 45 minutes from the FedEx store 45 minutes after the show started and then they wouldn't let us in until intermission. I was with my 4 year old grandson. When I called they refused to believe that my instructions were incorrect. They blamed it on FedEx. NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM THESE PEOPLE>
The process to obtain our tickets was easy. After purchasing the tickets we received a quick response verifying our order and shortly after came the tickets by email.
Should have known to read the reviews first. They did publish the section and said Rows J-U. The $6.95 I paid extra for emailed tickets (it was the only option available) allowed the tickets to come immediately which is better than many who hadn't received their tickets the day of their show, based on what I've read from the other reviews. You can guess what row, U. $80+ for the last row of the theatre. Really. I sent an email and they responded to say that I can sell the tickets if I want, but they're done. Didn't even offer to get me better seats for more $$. Bad news, never again Online City Tickets. BOOOOO.
SIMPLE WAY OF ORDERING EVENT TICKETS. THE STADIUM SEATING CHART SHOWS EXACTLY WHERE YOUR SEATS WILL BE LOCATED
Since the ticket broker purchased all of the tickets, I was stuck paying a $36 per ticket service charge. What a rip off!
I ended up paying $76 bucks when ticket master has the same exact seating area for $41 (tax included)
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
