42 dollar service fee? Really.
Never again.
I won't use this site again ever...
And then I get the tickets they say $60 on them my total coat was $362.
It's your money spent how you want but I would look else where first.
Received tickets in great condition. That said, a service charge of $126.88 for four $65.00 tickets (printed on tickets when I got them) listed at $104 each on your website, is excessive. Again, MY fault. Won't ever order from this site.
Lots of hidden costs. No Way to see your seat #. They masquerade as if they are selling tickets for the venue. So it's easy to land there by accident. You'll think you're at a reputable site, but your not.
AVOID these clowns.
Every one don't fit into all policies across the board. Denied on line purchase for something with another vendor that was disputed. REALLY! Glad to be rejected and I promise never to visit the site again
(2) tickets to Carole King Musical. All the way through the process they were $243 each. AFTER I hit enter at checkout, the price becomes $643.11! Luckily, my credit card company had a file on them and cancelled the charge immediately.
I don't understand and will never get why companies like this charge you a service fee; and for what? If anything I SAVED them a service/money by not having to have wast an envelope/paper/printer ink/stamp/time. I'm still trying to figure out who gets paid from these "service fee" when there technically was no service performed.
Sure you will get your instant tickets right away. But these people charge ridiculous fees. And their customer service sucks. They use ads and domain names that mislead one into thinking they are buying from the venue. None of this is illegal, it is just scummy.
This agency, like all the others, charges outrageous fees for concert tickets. It really is disgraceful. Over $38 in fees per ticket? Really? They should be embarrassed and ashamed but when you're this much of a capitalist, you almost make Donald Trump look mild.
Total rip off. Insane amount of "service charge" per ticket hidden until late in the order process. Waited 30 minutes to reach customer service. Was told "too bad", essentially. Will never buy from them again. I suggest anyone else use another service.
Service charges and delivery fees prohibitive. Got credit card info successful on second go-around. Pretty happy with service, as I caused scene at brick-and-mortar ticket seller after he sold my Dead & Co. Ticket out from under me! Last year.
Pretty expensive option. $90 tickets sold at $130, fine. But then another $100 in "fees" and $40 for shipping adds up real fast.
I'd use them again, but only if there were no other options.
They did NOT notify me until after the purchase that UPS might require an adult signature to deliver. Turned out not to be a problem, but it could have been a real issue.
We paid just over $500 for 2 tickets priced at $209 each. The service charges are outrageous and shameful considering nothing is printed or mailed - just instant download. In the end, they do this because they can... we still paid, but we have already buyer's remorse. Never ever again! Horrible. As far as "service" goes, how can I comment on something non-existent? It is an electronic transaction that takes seconds, they rape you and email you your tickets. Sucks. Stay away - next time we will wait until closer to show date and buy on StubHub.
Eagles' tickets! Best band ever. We'll miss Glenn Frey. He was the charisma. But looking forward to Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmidt and Don Henley. Big event. Had to buy! Get your tickets before it sells out.
Delivery was prompt, but I really don't see over $60 in value for simply downloading one document with 3 tickets.
Additionally, the seats we've been allocated don't appear consecutive- we have 44,46 and 48. With no option to select seat numbers beforehand, does this now mean our party of 3 will now be separated?
User friendly. Immediately able to download tickets. Wish I could see exactly where seats are when doing purchase. First concert with my teenage daughter. A little worried... after purchasing I read recent reviews and some said that tickets were double sold :( Hope isn't true.
You don't show any seat numbers so now I can't sit with my wife now. This will make the experience not as good. Your fees are quite high too.As far as receiving the tickets and being able to print them that was very easy.
A lot more costly than face value, only weakness. But, Ticketmaster and mainstream outlets had hardly anything good left already, 5 months in advance. The price you pay for not ordering super early; understandable. Got great seats, overnight shipping included. Better seats than best alternative of similar price with instant download. Bravo.
Convenience fee $7? Admin Fee $46? Not cool to charge arbitrary fees without explanation. This is the main reason I don't go to concerts anymore, companies like this one. Keep it up cause I'm righting my congress person about your veiled charges.
Wonderful service - appreciate the follow-up on whether or not tickets were received. Service was straight forward and quick. Very happy with costs. All questions answered in the FAQ section... will consider this as an option again.
I recently purchased tickets for a show which was not sold out through onlinecitytickets by accident because they were the first link that appeared (rather deceptive language choices), so that is my own stupid mistake (charging $199 for two ballet tickets when Ticketmaster which looks identical in website only charges $115 for 2). However when I followed up immediately (like within seconds) using their online chat to explain the mistake they were not willing to help me, they got me hook line and sinker so they were not giving up the sale. Follow up calls days after wen transaction posted got me nowhere as well. Beware of this company's prices, shop around before you click!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
