$49.00 tickets cost me $108.090 apiece. Greedy! As a 62 yr. Old I learned another valuable lesson. Go to the venue's ticket office gate 1 and buy direct, pay the actual face value of 49.00 ea. No additional fees, Ticket master wanted even more. Live and learn. :( :)
Fees are super high and the delivery fee for mailing two tickets is astronomical. We all know your corporate account with whatever shipping company you use charges you approx $2 or less, but you are charging the consumer $15. This is a $#*!ty money grabbing exercise. I will not purchase here again
This experience with Online City Tickets was great. Easy to understand and walked through just fine. Have not received the tickets yet so cannot say any thing about that part. But I would use again and recommend to a friend.
Very easy, no problem getting tickets at all. I would definitely recommend this website to friends and family. Secure website as well, always keeps your investment protected. Any issues you have get taken care of and resolved quickly. Their team is always on stand by ready to help you out.
A lot of emails for one purchase, which ones to save? I have never used this service before so really confused. Please help me to figure all this out! I'm very excited about the show and scared I'll loose the right info to get in.
They boosted the prices of the tickets that we were looking at on our phone once we got onto the computer by a few hundred bucks. Then they charged nearly $600 in service fees, which is really insane. I will not be ordering from them again.
This website is super easy to navigate, pay, and get your tickets, but the "service fees" are way too high. They should be a set amount. Not a percentage! $24.50 service fee for each ticket I bought. Plus, $7.50 to download my tickets. Shameful rip-off. I only paid this time because I really want to see a certain show that I've missed in past years.
Had to cancel tickets within an hour of ordering. Only response was all sales are final. You have NO consumer protection from these guys. Outrageous service charges and e-mail delivery charges. Their site makes you think you are dealing directly with the venue. VERY SLEAZY!
Additional service charge was a bit much considering all they were doing is transferring tickets (not even an option for a paper copy so if your phone dies you lost your tickets) but that was about the only way to be assured of getting them.
If I have another option next time Ill use it... what a rip off. I mean the tickets can to 338 before service fees and 450 after. Mobilization makes life easier and saves money, yet we seem to be paying more as end users. This will be my sons first concert and so I pay the fee. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
I read a few alarming reviews about being "double sold" tickets. If this were to happen, I'd be quite disappointed, of course, but it all seemed like a very smooth process from beginning to end. It was a bit pricey with the fees and "email delivery" charge of $6:95 - why so steep for the simple click of a button - or even an automated procedure?! Anyway, the concert should be a real treat for my son. He'll be giddy with excitement when he finds out.
Quick and easy. Find what you want. Submit your information and your confirmation is email and at your inbox within minutes. Printing tickets was a breeze. Just click on the emailed link and there they are. No navigation to any other part of site needed. Best ticket buying experience ever.
Great tickets, good ticket price, but the service fee which was not disclosed until submit order is selected cost 33% of the ticket price. Way too high.
Next time it will be Stub Hub who has much lower "admin" fees.
You sometimes have trepidation in ordering on line, particularly if it is an overseas country. I am impressed with speed of service, the safeguards in place and how professionally it was all completed
First and last experience on this website, tickets price and service charges are so expensive. Tried to contact them regarding my order, no one picked up the phone. Disappointed with this purchase. Will not recommend and come back again!
My tickets were $63 each. We bought 2 tickets. Total bill was $175. That's $25 in fees per ticket. Seems outrageous... why is there an "email" fee? It's free to email/download. It just seems that the company is taking advantage.
There is a hidden charge of almost $20 per ticket - a service fee. This really adds up when you are buying several tickets.
Also a $7.50 charge to down load your own tickets! How can they possibly justify charging for something that costs them nothing!
Went to the other place first. Too confusing for someone, not computer literate or been to a concert. OnlineCityTickets made the whole experience so much easier. My wife's birthday present is in the bag. Easy and efficient. Many thanks.
The site worked ok, I got my tickets, so you have that. Entering my personal information was cumbersome as my Google+ saved entries did not transpose. Fees are high, $25+ per ticket; but, that is common on these secondary sites.
Easy to use. Although the price was pretty high it is simple. I hope the rest of this experience goes well. The only option for the tickets were flash ticket which I don't mind but seem scary not having them when you spend $345. Will see.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
