Bought two tickets for $120, total came to $320+ so they charged $60 in fees hidden until I paid. Sneaky and way over-priced. And they won't even show what the fees are for exactly... which is the worst part of all. Deceptive. Greedy.
It is worth signing up for the e-mail notices just to get a good regular overview of upcoming events that you might not hear about otherwise. The site was easy to navigate and offered lots of different options for searching and choosing tickets.
Diagram of the venue was easy to read (available seats, location, etc.). Purchase and check-out process was quick and simple. Received confirmation within 15 minutes and had no problem printing tickets. I did not voluntary go to this ticket site, apparently this is the service that the venue contracts with.
I can't comment on customer service because I haven't had a need to contact them. So far so good... crossing my fingers.
The process was quick but as always, I think it's ridiculous that we have to pay service fees which upped the price by $27 for each ticket and then another 7.50 for electronic service, which is ridiculous too because it costs them nothing!
So excited about an upcoming concert! Its my husbands birthday weekend when the show is and its an extra gift for us to celebrate his special day with. The site was user friendly and the tickets arrived quickly. I would shop here again.
User friendly website and easy to use. Good description of tickets available, and the process, policy and terms, were well presented and explained. But $20+ in service fees. Come on people! You turned a $68.00 into a $90. Ticket in one click. Ouch!
Thought this ticket site was directly related to venue/event. Should have researched ticket pricing before paying double what I would have at Stub Hub for same event. They DO NOT let you return tickets within 24 hours... for that matter, not at all.
I feel 100% ripped off. Do not buy tickets from these $#*!s. After spending $205 on 2 tickets for Dead & Company in Bristow, VA, I expected seats close to the stage. We were in the very last row of the pavilion. The tickets I received online were only to be downloaded to my smartphone. You could not print them out. In small print, I noticed $50.00 for each ticket after I was inside the venue. I paid over $100 a piece. Not cool! Check out the Better Business Bureau reviews on these corporate scammers. I want my $ back!
Purchasing tickets for this event was fast and easy. I'm sure if anything comes up on my end where I'm unable to attend this event, I would receive a full refund. I also believed that everything being done via email is a great way to leave an electronic paper trial in case something goes wrong or misunderstood. For this to be my first time purchasing tickets with this company, I can say that I'm truly satisfied with the process.
I just bought tickets received them before I saw news Reporting about this company in Az a lady not allowed to enter her concert. My tickets were sent FedEx but are paper that they copied off printer. I'm not taking a chance. Reported to my credit card.
Great site for concert tickets. LiveNation wanted 22.50 per ticket (for us it would be 4 X 22.50 = $90) but after fees were added on it came to almost $140. Ridiculous!
Same LiveNation tickets here were $17.50 plus fees came to less than $100. Saved over $40 to spend on refreshments at the concert.
The only draw back is that one of the fees was $7.50 for electronic download of the tickets. Seems a little greedy to charge for something that really has no cost to it but otherwise a very good experience.
Will be returning next time I'm looking for tickets!
Giving a 5 rating because it was a great transaction, smooth - fees are crazy. However, I found two good seats that cost less than buying on ticketmaster, and helped out someone who could not go to the show and not lose out on a lot of money.
I decided to order a parking pass for my rodeo event that was 5 business days away, instead of relying on uber. Even though I just paid for UPS standard shipping I was guaranteed that the parking pass would arrive in time. And it did, in two days... coming from Chicago!
This is quality service!
I will continue to purchase any event tickets through online city tickets!
Thank you!
Ticket cost - $135 ($270 for two)
Service Charge - $41 ($82 for two)
Download Fee - $7.50
To go see a show with my wife - $360 and we haven't paid for parking or food and drinks. Not sustainable. If the cost was reasonable I would go to shows much more often. Now it is only for very, very special occasions. Unfortunately I feel crappy about going because the cost is outrageous.
Ordered 2 tickets for the April 11,2018 Eagles concert in Charlotte, NC today and had them within the hour. However, the cost, which I thought was paying a regular price plus insurance, which the company recommended, was $385! The actual ticket cost, I learned after the transaction was just under $200! They marked them up $90 and then tacked on some sort of undisclosed service fees. I called my credit card provider but, of course, this is not really a fraud, as unethical as it is. I have e-mailed them about this - I could not find a phone number - but realistically do not expend a reply. This is the first time I have ever been ripped off so thoroughly for concert tickets but it will not happen again.
Navigating the site was a breeze. Pricing was the best I found on-line (including Ticketmaster). Payment process and receipt of electronic tickets was immediate. Will definitely be using their services for future events.
Ordered 2 tickets last Wednesday for The Dome McCartney concert and received them Friday. The face value on the tickets was $59.50 each and the total for these was $675.27 extracted from my checking account. Quite a profit! I hope he's worth it. Now I'm stuck with extras because my son bought me some on Saturday. Any takers? No markup from me, just what I paid.
We are really lucky that this is part of our road trip and not a regular visit, as I will never be using your services again. I have never had to work so hard to have someone take my money. The whole process was an unnecessary ordeal, and Im still not convinced that my tickets are likely to arrive. After wasting over an hour of my life, I hope I can forget about your inconveniences, inconsistencies, and overall lack of organization.
Ms. Christina is an amazing person with great communication skills and to me seems she likes ppl as she was very informative and didn't mind going into detail with the few questions I asked her. This was my first time calling and will be using the company more often. It was a great experience.
Got my tickets but paid $36 each in extra fees plus $7.50 to download them. Not to mention the original ticket price was $70 and I paid $131 for each. This whole "re-seller" industry is disgusting!
The artists want prices to be reasonable so fans can see them live. I just paid $180 extra for 2 tickets for what? Use of their stupid website! They suck!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
