Have been dealing with Onecom ever since they took over Vodafone contracts and have to say they have always been great. All the agents I've spoken to, each year I've renegotiated my contract, have been really helpful. Upgraded my current contract today with Karl Davies who went out of his way to get me a fantastic deal. He was not only friendly and polite but very patient and proactive when I pushed for the better deal!
Had the best Service from Karl Davies. Originally called to cancel contract but ended up staying due to Karl offering me a great deal and I just liked his way of speaking. Pleasure speaking to as he was so polite and friendly.

I have just upgraded and am stuck for 2 years but would never recommend them. Wanted a dual sim but they failed to mention I'd have to get a virtual sim elsewhere as they can't provide it asked for international calls but can't call to another country without being charged just class within each country. Complained and was told too sad your passed the cooling off period. Don't trust them!
Karl was very helpful with helping be decide on a new phone whilst telling me the different offers and finding me the one that suits me best. Even after me getting a little agitated due to not understanding everything he still remained calm and kept his customer service skills up to 5 star quality. I am very pleased with this service and appreciate all the help i was offered.

Karl Davies at Onecom dealt with me with the utmost professionalism and politeness, he explained all the technicalities and detail in a manner that even I could nearly understand.
I would recommend him for an immediate promotion and substantial pay rise.

I called regarding an upgrade, Karl was extremely pleasant, helpful and very considerate of the time everything takes to process, he even bettered the contract I was hoping to get at no extra charge. Superb customer service skills and he deserves all the accolades that come his way.

I cannot believe that I did not look at the reviews for this company before I signed up with them. I had been with BT for 35 years. This sounded like a good deal we are retired and looking to save money wherever we can. It is a complete con. They don't tell you that mobile calls are not included in 'unlimited calls'. There are other charges for 'other calls' what are they? They even charge for sending my bill by E mail! I have never had anything on paper from this company. My communication with this company since I was cold called has been by E mail.
My bills are much more expensive than they were with BT. Has anyone been to trading standards about this company? I think that is going to be my next move. Thank goodness I did not turn my broadband over to them
Renewed my contract but need more explanation on the detail. Got the answer via the chat facility. James D was most helpful, and explained it clearly. It would be helpful if they issued a formal contract rather than relying on a verbal one recorder at Onecom end.

It started in January with a cold call which resulted in this firm taking over our line despite not being given the go ahead. Numerous phone calls later TT admit they took the line in error. Now to get it back... 3 attempts by Bt to retake the line have been cancelled, TT explain to me that BT keep requesting the wrong thing! Now we have been cut off by TT but still can't get back with BT! TT tell me I owe them about £100 because we didn't take the line back... dear God I tried! I have offered to pay half just to get my phone line back- they have refused! I have spoken with Lucy- wow she's rude! I have spoken with Callum - for a manager he is not the best and as for their strap line (which I have heard a lot while on hold) "we focus on keeping our customers happy" well guess what... I am not a happy customer!
Wanted to upgrade my phone and onecom matched a competitors deal exactly if not better as I got to keep The entertainment package for 2 more years! Karl Davies has dealt with my past 2 upgrades over 4 years and he's always highly professional, makes it easy for me to understand and always finds a way to make the process a little more fun/banter! Top Lad!

My contract was about to end and, being Black Friday, some great discounts were on offer from other service providers. Karl managed to find me an even better deal ultimately saving me 66% on my current tariff. Well done Karl and many thanks.

So glad I read the reviews. Cold call from true-telecom this morning. Sounded plausible until he started asking for my bank details. I put the phone down on him. This sort of cold call sales should be made illegal
This company only seems to employ people who would rob their own grandmother. Deceptive sales team and took me over 7 minutes to cancel my order. A day later I checked with bt to see if the contract had been cancelled and they said no so I had to put a block on the switch. This cancellation should have taken minutes so I guess Darren didn't do as I asked... STAY AWAY.
Fantastic customer service this morning as I called Onecom to upgrade my phone plan. Karl Davies was fantastic - explained everything, was professional and had a sense of humour and made it all seem really simple to do. Thanks Karl! I also spoke later to a guy named Alex. He was great too. Thanks x

I must say at first I was very sceptical but it was a seamless transfer and I started receiving the cheaper billing this was ideal for me as January quite tough. Customer service was amazing to ~ Daniel

True-telecom called me and tried to convince me they were part of Open Reach. They appeared to have some of my details but not all, so I was not sure they were right. Things got unpleasant when they put pressure on me for my bank details, which I refused to give. The salesman tried really hard and I nearly fell for his argument. I said I would think about the offer and do my own research. They used bully tactics! I would not join them for such a terrible approach.
Spoke to Karl Davies who was fantastic in helping me sort out a rejig of my contracts, increased data packages as well as a new iPad upgrade to get more for what I'm currently paying. Personable and upbeat customer service rep. V pleased with the outcome.
Only downside was the call queue. Lots of dead air between messages and music which is not great with a longish wait.

We cancelled a cervice with Onecom 9 months ago and they are still billing us. I have phones dozens of times and each time they say someone will ring back but no one ever does. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...
My partner was convinced to change providers to this bunch of cowboys by a lying salesperson. She was assured that the contract could be terminated at any time with no charge. Upon trying to terminate, having received several months of inflated bills, she was referred to Terms and Conditions which gave a minimum contract period of 36 months (in miniscule type).
In order to end the service a fee of almost £1000 was demanded. Obviously this is totally unacceptable so the situation continues.
Please avoid this company for your own peace of mind (and bank balance), and if you have already made the same mistake report them to Ofcom. Maybe if enough complaints are received they will be able to take them to task.
Take the one star as being a minus number!
Answer: There is no mention of the 3 year contract when the salesman cold calls you.
Answer: Ignore them. You cancelled the contract because it was mis-sold. You have cancelled the DD, just make sure it is not re-instated by them. Given the reviews I have just read I doubt they will take it down the legal route. You can always try threatening to sue for harrassment but, personally, I would just ignore them. Don't delete emails though - they are evidence should you need it.
Answer: If you can't through on the phone send them an email - what they do with it is their problem but it will be proof you cancelled in time. And if later than the cooling off period, you were mis-sold anywayso have a right to cancel. Then cancel the DD and go back to your old supplier. Good luck
Answer: They are very carefull with the way they word things for instance "we will endevor to waiver your ETF" so what there saying is they will try, And this was done by there legal team (consists of 2 people with no legal experance calling BT and pretending to be the customer saying because BT have up there prices your legally allowed to leave the contract free of charge, with BT just saying the charge is valid, and now they dont have a legal team atm so there not to concerned about customer happyness its a fly by company
