Novica is one of my favorite on line stops for gifts for either myself or others. I'm always thrilled with the items that I purchase. The quality and workmanship is amazing. Truly a wonderful site.
I have several sterling silver jewelry pieces that I have purchased from NOVICA and I love them all.
The rings are jut beautiful and I always get compliments and people asking me where did I get them, they are unique and different of what you would get from a store.
They ship directly from the country of origin which I love and shipping is really fast.
My experience with the website and the products have always been great.
I had one piece that got lost and never made it to me, I contacted customer service and they took care of it rightward.
I highly recommend it.

As an artist myself, I am all about empowering those who create. From the moment I found out about the company, my interest was piqued. I have made a few purchases of gifts for my family from this site, but I think my favorite purchase would have to be one that I made for myself.
The alpaca blanket that I ordered from NOVICA came in a timely manner (actually quickly for coming from over seas!), was wrapped beautifully, and is extremely well made. Although it is a thin blanket, it is EXTREMELY warm. I am warm all night with ONLY my alpaca blanket, which is rare. I tend to be cold and need multiple blankets.
Overall, I'd highly suggest this company. Great products. I would bet a paycheck on the company, their service, and their products. A+++

I purchased a jade and sterling silver necklace. Well this is not sterling silver! It turned gold, which wears off onto my chest, turning my skin gold! I wont be buying again from this company. And yes the emails and invasive advertisements are the worst.

I saw a blouse last night and put it in my cart. I went to bed and looked at the website today and was going to buy it but the blouse was gone. I found it again and the price went from $27.48 (approx) to $48.00 in less than 24 hours. What is with that? It makes me wonder... Needless to say I did not buy it. I think this website is a bunch of swindlers playing on yuppie sensibilities. I want to help artists too, but I am not stupid.

Ordered a bracelet and was in shock when I opened the box. So small that it would barely fit a child. The bracelet was for a friend's birthday... had to return. I will never do business with them again... you must pay for the insurance and postage to send back for a refund. Why should a customer pay to have an unacceptable item returned? Give your business to another company...

Whenever I have a specific question about an item, it takes them too long to generate an answer. I have to call up customer service and check with them several times to make sure they have submitted my inquiry and get back to me within 48 hours, which is their turnaround time. Like this shawl that I am planning to order, I need to be informed whether it is hand woven or machine woven, I have spoken to two sales reps two days in a row on a daily basis to check on the status of my inquiry and to my surprise, on the third day, when I called again I was told by a third rep that the reps that I spoke to and promised to expedite my inquiry didn't even attach and submit that inquiry on my behalf. So, the third rep that I spoke to wasn't even aware of my inquiry and began to attach the inquiry to be expedited within 48 hours. All in all, this inquiry has been delayed for 48 hours because of the lack of responsibility of the prior two sales reps. If you have questions with regards to an item before purchasing, it is so hard for them to acquire the info and get back to you. There are some sales reps in their company who merely care about sales and won't even offer you service.

When I lived in Rio de Janeiro, I bought a hammock at the Hippie Fair. After many wonderful years and memories, it needed to be replaced at last. I found one as similar as possible-- "Manaus Majesty", natural ecru color with crocheted draping. It arrived quickly and is beautiful! It has no chemical or sizing smells at all, just clean cotton fabric. The crocheting is elegant. Hats off to you, artisans of Ceara!

Why, after paying for my goods and shipping have I been charged £24.85 extra for VAT and brokerage charges. I am absolutely furious. I have paid almost double what I was expecting to pay. Will never use this company again.

If you placed your order with our Priority Premium shipping service, we state on our website that non-US customers are responsible for all duty, tax, & brokerage fees that may be due upon delivery; and that shipping costs cover freight charges only. You are not charged any VAT at time of purchase. Also, in order to ensure that our international customers are fully aware of this information, it is necessary to check a box indicating that you have read that information before you can complete the checkout process. Unfortunately, we have no control over what other countries assess for duties and taxes.
Now, this is only the case with our Priority Premium shipping service. If you placed your order with standard shipping and you were asked to pay VAT, please contact me at service@novica.com or at 001-210-247-2790, as duty and tax is prepaid for our standard international service and I will cheerfully refund your VAT payment.

I have found over time that the popups stop... unless you're foolish enough to go to their website again, to complain, which activates it all over again.
