Is Novice perfect in every way? Probably not. Reading critical reviews made me think: No business is absolutely flawless in all eyes. My focus in using the service was on the artisanship that made an exquisite pitcher from recycled glass. I watched video of artisans at work, and reflected that any opportunity that offers artisans a way of life they choose, and which is honorable in their own estimation is gold to the soul.

I can't say how happy I am with the items I have purchased. They are my new favorite go to company. The quality and service is wonderful and they keep you updated on the shipping date and status of order. I don't write many reviews, but more than happy to recommend them.
I have ordered two things ( a ring and a necklace) and both were fabulous. They arrived quickly, the financial transaction was perfect and the pieces I got are lovely. Plus, from reading all these reviews I can see that their customer service reps have the patience of a saint!
I have purchased several items from Novica. Imagine my surprise when, while perusing their site today, I found not one, but TWO rings that I purchased at TJ Maxx for a fraction of their price! Is this a scam site?
I started shopping here about a year or two ago. I'm hooked! I love being able to read the artisans stories and know where my money from each purchase is going to. I don't have a huge budget but I shop the sales and find some incredible items! Highly recommend as a gift as well! Last month I gave my aunt who is battling cancer a bracelet from a artisan who had battled cancer in the past. It was so much more meaningful that anything else! Keep up the great work NOVICA!
Novica is not customer friendly, they want your money and that is it. I would keep a safe distance with these people. Not to be trusted and they surely don't care about anyone in Africa or Central and South America. Cheap labor and CEO prices the American way. The rich get richer.
I'm a Novica customer for life. The workmanship, selection and prices are great. Their silver jewelry selection is second to none. I especially love the jewelry from Bali.
We have home decor, serving pieces, mugs, wine glasses and accessories which everyone compliments.
As a customer for 11 years, I recommend Novica to everyone.
I ordered a ring that was supposed to be sterling silver, it was even stamped. 925, but it turned my finger green within 3 days of wear. Then I returned it- after the customer service rep said they would pay shipping, they deducted $4.95 from my refund. The place I shipped to was in the same zip code that I work in and so I felt like a chump that was all excited that my "items were being shipped from Bali" so it took a few weeks to get in the first place... I am now seriously doubtful of their entire business model.

I bought many things from Novica, they are unique and I helped somebody. But I have few suggestions. Some items are overpriced, way beyond what ordinary people can afford. That will send away many customers. Second, I've got coupons, that didn't show up at a checkout, although they said " to any item". If they do not apply on sale items, it should be said so. Little bit of realism regarding prices, and better done web offered would help.
Do you just wake up and think, I must have a beautiful shawl from India today! And I would like to support silversmiths in countries with struggling economies like Peru! Here is your opportunity to enjoy the handiwork of designers, jewelers, and painters from around the world -- from Navajo America to West Africa to Asia to South America. I have enjoyed every purchase, which are beautifully presented in gift wrap or silk bags -- just perfect gifts.
I just ordered jewelry from Novica. The quality is great and they included a hand-written thank you note from India! I would use this site for gifts again without hesitation!

I ordered three pairs of earrings. The quality was good, but the earrings were much smaller than I expected. Paying more for the earrings would not have been a problem but they are actually tiny. I am a little disappointed.

The Site has an endless amount of options. I was glued looking at jewelry trying to narrow down my choices for two days. It took two hole days for me decide what I wanted without breaking the bank. Not only are the options amazing but the site is very user friendly. Cant wait to get my order in so I can show off!

Though I had a problem initially with exchange of a bracelet that I received as a gift, following an e-mail to customer service they were able to issue me a credit ehen I returned the bracelet. I subsequently ordered another item and am finally pleased with customer service as well as the new piece of jewelry.
I received a jewelry gift which was too large and not to my liking. The customer service rep was quite rude and distracted asking me the same questions several times and not listening to my response. Since I did not have the order number, as this was a gift, she refused to provide me with a credit which is all that I wanted.
The item is on the Novica Website and I was hoping to exchange it for something more in line with my taste. Now I am left with something that I will never wear.
I will never deal with this company. Worst customer service ever!

I was sort of shocked to see negative reviews. I have been purchasing from this company for a few years and have been delighted with the quality of the products I have recieved. On two occassions, I have returned items and it was smooth. I have called a couple of times with specific questions and have had my questions answered immediately. Ths company has proven itself to me to be reliable, consistent, accurate and easy to deal with. I am amazed at the complaints.
I purchased a Prasiolite pendant bracelet created by Komang Wijayana and it is just exquisite. I love how there is room to extend the size, if necessary, since it will be a gift for a friend's birthday in December. This is my second purchase from the Novica site and I will definitely be back for future gifts.

Answer: Read my entry with the name Mary M. I complained of the same thing. They expected me to install yet another cookie, to get rid of the first cookie! I have found over time that the popups stop... unless you're foolish enough to go to their website again, to complain, which activates it all over again. But still not sure what is hiding in my tablet. Find out how to uninstall the cookies... Or wait for, like, half a year to see them disappear. They don't seem to care how much they invade or pester us! Bad business practice!
