Nordstrom is one of my favorite retailers. They have a great selection of both high end and affordable high quality items. Great shoe selection, free shipping and returns. If you ever do have a problem (only time I had a problem was when UPS delivered to the wrong address, so it wasn't even Nordstrom's error), they will do whatever it takes to help with it. No long waits for an agent that barely speaks English -- they are quick, responsive, and accommodating. I will be a customer for life.
Without notifying a customer - me. I've been online shopping with nordstrom's for a LONG time, for clothes, shoes, and makeup. I've always been a happy customer - shipping and returns are free and reliable. In the 8+ years I've shopped online, only 1 package has been missing. Then in Jan. 2016, a Jo Malone perfume oil I had purchased at Christmas time was missing. The odd thing was that there was NO TRACKING info online, like they usually do. The customer rep told me it was 'odd' but their system said it was fulfilled, even though there was no UPS tracking number. Since she can't track it herself, she replaced the order. A month later, I ordered Clinique items and a GWP. I received a confirmation but never a shipping notice, so I called customer service. They told me that my order was canceled. When I asked why I wasn't even sent a courtesy email that they couldn't fulfill it, I was told that their system cancelled it because the 'system' thought I had already received a Clinique GWP and there is a limit of 1 per customer! I told her to check my purchases and they didn't find any other Clinique purchases. She tried to explain several other possible reasons, but none of them held water or applied to me. She was apologetic and got back to me in a timely manner to try to explain what happened, but wasn't able to give a valid reason. I feel offended and disappointed with Nordstrom's. I haven't shopped with them since Feb. Except to use up a a few remaining giftcards. Just took away the fun of online shopping for me. I don't need the aggravation.
New to shopping on line, I love it. I am a senior, not able to get out and shop for a while. Shopping on line has been a blast, Nordstroms order was sent quickly the style, fit, material amazing. I found a sale as well. Thank you for great service!

I just ordered pair of shoes Hunter brand the navy color for my boyfriend. He really love that color. But when I received my ordered I was very disappointed cause it was wrong color. It was green color. OMG. And in the package, I didn't see any receipt and return label in there. I don't know how can they put the wrong color in there. And then I called to customers service. And I told them that i want that shoes with the color that I ordered but they said It out of stock. So we can't send you that color. I am very disappointed the way they do with the customer. They did wrong color shoes that i need and they need to resend to me another one. They didn't do it. They just say sorry and that's it. I shopped at nordstrom and nordstrom rack a lot. But from now, if they won't solve the problem, maybe I won't come back and shopping there any more. And in my store list to shopping won't have nordstrom rack anymore. Very disappointed

I had emailed twice about returning my boots, which I ordered as size nine just to find out they fit as though they were two sizes smaller. I returned the boots but NEVER heard anything back, no refund no call, no email, Nothing! I emailed them again only to yet again be ignored! They owe me my money back as Canada Post has confirmed they received the boots back, yet they choose to ignore my requests. I am now out over $200 with nothing to show, except that I have been taken by this fraudulent company! I am furious that they can even operate like this with such low values placed on the consumer, The CONSUMER whom without us the Company would be nothing! Think about that before you choose to ignore your consumers. I was planning on buying a different style of boot with my return money, but realize the risks with this company are too high for my pocket book. I have filed a complaint with Paypal, perhaps next I will contact the better business bureau & a lawyer!

In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
