100 words r not enough for wat I've been threw with this company there's no quality in there furniture they just get yor money and that's all they want people go elsewhere money money money is all they want and wen they have it tough titties we've got it and that starts also with the sales people. Oh please don't take any notice of there ads like I did not worth the hassle go else where

BUYER BEWARE!

Staff lied to me in store and told me custom couch would be delivered within 12 weeks of purchase, I did not receive my couch for over 32 weeks and once it was delivered it was damaged, nick scalli refusing to take any responsibility, Chinese owned company with terrible products, never again!

Don't bother with sales... the sale price is more than the price before the sale. Recommend that you stay away as they practice unethical business policies... recommend accc investigate their sale prices

Scammers

We were quoted $450 delivery fee for two tables and $80 for the remainder of the order of 2 pendants and a coffee table. Delivery was for February. Finally in June they delivered the tables, charged the $450 delivery and said the rest of the order wasn't ready yet.
A couple of weeks later they had the coffee tables and pendants. Even though we had the invoice showing $80 delivery charge, they invoiced us again for $500. $250 delivery for the coffee table and $250 for the pendants.
We had already paid them 50 percent of the furniture cost. They had our money. They wouldn't cancel and refund us. An absolute delivery SCAM. They refused to deliver to the shop we ordered it from an hours drive away so we could pick it up.
We had to find friends in Sydney near their warehouse to take the delivery and then we had to drive 8 hrs round trip to pick up our goods.
They are deceitful, absolute robbery

Still waiting

Have been waiting since the beginning of February for our lounge suite. Was on the the phone today on hold for 32mins was told I was the 1st in line, needed to go out so ended up leaving our contact details. They haven't bothered to call back, the service is crap. Think we will go to the Mt Wellington store tomorrow and see if we can get our money back and deal with a local retailer

BAD BUSINESS!

I bought a concrete dining table from Nick Scali Cannington branch and the wrong table was delivered to m house and this happened 3 times. I wanted the same concrete dining table that I saw in the Cannington branch and 3 times the wrong dining table with different colour and the top concrete finish dining tables was delivered which we sent back each time. I went into the store and complained and thought I would give them another chance so I pick another concrete dining table in the store which the Store manager said her boss had to get back to her about information about the other (new)concrete dining table I picked. A few days went by and we did not hear anything from the store so I called the store and cancelled my new order and asked for a full refund of the money I paid for the dining table.
My advice is DO NOT buy anything from Nick Scali... the Customer Service we have received is very bad and the stock that they sell to customers leaves a lot for the imagination as we got the wrong table 3 times! VERY BAD BUSINESS!

NOT HAPPY

I purchased a leather lounge in an extended sale. I asked M... from West Gosford store if the sale would be extended. She replied a firm "NO" I then asked how about the end of financial year sale?. Again she said no. I purchased the lounge ( have to wait 3 months). I went in two weeks after purchase and the item I got has been reduced by $700. Head Office would not extend the discount to me.:-( The manager of the store was very nice. He gave me a cleaning kit $100 and a store credit of $250. Can you say better than nothing? What can i get for $250:-(

My Leather Lounge

I would never buy a lounge from Nick Scalli again. Had problems with peeling on the arm of the lounge and blamed us for oils from skin and low maintenance which is untrue. So disappointed. No help at all from the company.

Apparently Nick Scali tries to run a business on the cheap by keeping no stock except for display stock on hand. I went to buy a lounge suite, checked out the floor stock and decided on some recliner chairs.
Was told there were none in stock but could be ordered in. The lead time was 11 to 13 weeks. I agreed to that. Later, when I read the fine print, there was a clause which allowed for delays up to 15 weeks and a warning that cancellation of the order would result in the loss of a 33% deposit plus a $45 service fee. I wasn't happy with that but I had already placed the order so I went ahead.
At 11 weeks, ( which they had assured me at the point of sale was the "usual " lead time), I was told it was going to be 13 weeks. When I expressed my disappointment, they rudely told me I should have read the fine print and they reminded me about losing my deposit if I cancelled. A day or so before the 13 weeks was up, I was told there would be a further delay taking the delivery time to 15 weeks. Again I was warned about losing my deposit if I cancelled although I had not attempted to cancel.
I sought legal advice about the fine print and was advised that it was legal and I should wait until the end of the 15 week period and notify Nick Scali of my intention to cancel if the goods were not available at that time. On the day after the expiry I informed then sales people who sold me the chairs of my intention to cancel. They instructed me to wait for their phone call later that day and the cancellation would be complete and they could refund my deposit. The phone call didn't happen and two days later I contacted the sales manager at their head office, who advised me that he had no information regarding my complaints or about the cancellation of the order. It took another 3days and several phone calls to actually get the refund returned to my bank.
I certainly won't be dealing with this company again, especially since I found another store with similar chairs.( in stock) for $300 less than Nick Scali.

We purchased the provence round marble table last year and waited months for it to arrive, we were not satisfied at all with the table, it cost around $2000 and you would expect it to be perfect, I was warned that the tables are scratched and to not purchase from there, it happened to us as well. We spoke to HR, we spoke to fair trade and nothing is been done, nick scali even sent someone to check it for us, he said it's like that and we could buff off the scratches out selves? It's been a year and I'm still waiting for answers, we spent over $10,000 on furniture at nickcalj, we bought our lounge, coffee table and a tv unit from there as well. They're still not considerate to give us a proper table. Their excuse is that " it's like that" but the display at nick scali doesn't look scratched and the tv unit which is also marble and same material is not scratched.

6 months later and still waiting. Easily the worst customer service experience in my life.
Recording every aspect for consumer protection.
Refusing to refund deposit or cancel the order for a couch that I'm convinced still hasn't even been made.
Nick Scali is a scam!

Disappointed

We are looking for a sofa and saw the Nick Scali advert on TV. I went on the website to have a look and sore and expensive but classy looking sofa that I liked. I told my husband that I wanted to get it but he said that I should look at the customer reviews beforehand due to the price. I am so glad I did because all the reviews that I have read have put me off. Thank goodness for customer reviews

Steer Clear!

Purchased "genuine leather" lounges from Nick Scali a few years ago. Absolutely assured of the quality and invested in expensive leather care treatment products. Frame broke and the so called "genuine leather" peeled off within a couple of years. Was devastated and learned the lounge was manufactured in China! Hard earned money... absolute crooks! Hope you choke on the Job Keeper!

Bad Quality!

We bought a lounge suite over NZ$5K.The fabric split when it arrived but they did not give us any refund/replace. We paid so much money for a brand new one! How could you not give us any refund for the bad quality? Also the delivery time took so longggggg- waited for 6months! Very bad experience! NEVER BUY FROM THEM!

I really wish I had investigated this company before purchasing from them. It seems no one is satisfied. Purchased lounge suite Jan 5 2021 with delivery promised in March, then April, then May, well it just arrived today, after initially thinking I lived in Hamilton ( I Live in Aucland) They promised to wipe the delivery fee of $95, yet the delivery company insisted I must pay it. I refused, delivery company started to threaten to take the suite away, even though the full amount had been paid for. There has been nothing but poor service from the get go. I really wish this company goes under so other people don't have to put up with this.

Tried to helped my mother buy a couch online which was a horrible waste of time, ended up having to make several calls to them because of all things they forgot to get her address even after payment at which point I told her to just ask for her money back because it's was starting to feel like we were doing business with scamers, we paid for this couch at the start of January and we were advised that it would take 3 months, well its been 5 months now and they say its going to be at least another month, what a joke.
They seemingly refuse to return calls most of the time, offer no apology or even try to make it up to her, I brought a couch from Harvey Norman in the peak of the pandemic and they delivered it to be in 2 and a half months after I was told I'd be lucky to have it arrive by 3 months, my advice is save you time and spend your money with someone that values your business because these guy's certainly don't.

I'd like to show you a photo of the couch she paid for in January 2021 but unfortunately I can not, however maybe anyone reviewing this will enjoy the void where a couch goes that she has had to live with for what now will be a 6 month wait.

After sale support

Appalling. Had a faulty 8k lounge delivered after 15 week wait. They sent a repair person who made the situation worse. Now lounge is dysfunctional and unsafe. Now im told they need to take corner seat away for repair. This was last week. No active follow up. I spend the day trying to get some one to action repair only to be told i have to wait for manager tomorrow. They don't seem interested in addressing the repair in a timely manner. Again Absolutely useless support. Today i get a phone call. Informing me they can pick up the couch next Monday and will need a further week to do repair on this new couch. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told no manager available today either.
What I expect is prompt pick up and immediate repair and return. Not to wait a further 2 weeks on top of the 2 weeks that I have had the faulty, unsafe couch. At the very least a repair person should attend immediately to make the couch safe.

Don't buy on-line

We bought a Finley couch but were unable to visit the store (over 5 hours drive away) as Mum had just started radiation treatment and the sale finished in a couple of days. We wanted a white couch - the website picture shows a clean white in a grey toned room. Big discussion with the sales rep re colour explaining that our house colour scheme is black, grey & white and we needed a clear, crisp white and would order black if it wasn't. Were told the website picture was accurate and was sent photos of the colour swatch. Had they sent us an actual colour swatch which arrived 4 months after order with our very CREAM couch we would have ordered black. Love the couch, hate the colour on our home. Feel very mislead by the website and the sales rep - management at Nick Scali aren't interested. Please don't waste your money and buy without physically seeing the exact product in the colour you want.

I ordered a couch around 4 months before. Every time I call, delivery date keeps changing. When I asked how long is the maximum waiting time, I was told you might need to wait for long time and there is no specific time of delivery in the contract. So I can't cancel it now, it is all in their hand and they have no liability. Pls read the contract before signing. Very poor service.

Defective console
April 29, 2021

I have received a defective console. According to Nick Scali that's normal. Their customer service isthe worst in Australia. What ever you see in stores are not what you getting. Damaged cheap items.
