I highly recommend Space City Plumbing, Inc. They replaced our entire home old galvanized pipes with Pex piping.
1) Professional-hardworking employees, friendly, and courteous, each person on first day knew their role and
worked diligently.
2) Micah, Jr., made sure all was going well and updated me on progress.
3) Augustine and Isiah arrived timely day two, as promised to connect all the Pex pipes. They are like worker
bees, progress reports throughout the day.
4) Even new in 79, we have NEVER had this amazing water pressure throughout our home.
We are pleased we hired Space City to replumb our home. We will definitely call Space City for future kitchen and bath faucet replacements, etc.
This app sucks and is very biased towards compassion for Republicans? Seams the nextdoor owners or originators work for google! Major censorship... when you try to communicate with them they just block your account another fake platform to keep you from not hearing or seeing the truth and let people talk freely
A frequent voice on NextDoor is a local paper editor, who is an ex-con with a political ax to grind and if you respond critically or even in jest or in any way unsupportive to his submissions you will find the whole post taken down and when it reappears a few days later, only your comments are missing. There is no notice or reason given. No explanation on the post. Just disappeared like it never was. That's just creepy! Here is my comment: "always curious to me how these things are never discovered by run of the mill citizens but always those with 'agendas' - jess'sayn..." now really, was that so bad?!
My problem with Nextdoor is the Admins have way to much power. They suspend posts, punish people they don't like regardless of content bbn of the post. They gang up and censure for no apparent reason, and I don't usually get an email explaining what was offensive. I never put anyone down or use profanity. Most of my post inform. One was taken down because I copied a sex registry list so people in our community would know. I was told I was shaming them. What The Heck.
I have seen this website destroy itself the past few years. It use to be a good site to get info on the neighborhood. Now the monitors decide if your comment can stay or must go. It is against freedom of speech so do not go on there and support more Nazi/Communist treatment of citizens of a free country. They are run by lefties so you know what gets deleted. Stop websites like theses... we are a free country.
I joined Nextdoor about 5 years ago. Since the day I joined, the site has gotten very negative and hateful. I tried to delete the app and it somehow sent an invitation to everyone on my contact list! Some of my friends say this site attached to their contact list and sent out emails also! I have received so many advertising emails from them every day, I unsubscribe every single time, yet they continue. How do I get rid of this horrible company? UGH!
If I could give zero stars I would! I am a medical doctor who created a novel product, that isn't like any other on the market, to fight and combat the SPREAD of Covid-19! I have Federal EPA Approval as well as State EPA Approval. As a doctor, I see the devastation and our covid-19 cases spiking! I wanted to spread local knowledge and help save lives! Nextdoor refuses to advertise my product (it's not on there list of things you can advertise)! SHAME on Nextdoor! Your app isn't about helping the community at all! You are all about getting rich on marketing from other marketing efforts but not where it counts the most! SHAME ON NEXTDOOR! I will no longer use the app and I encourage others to do the same!
I totally agree with other critical reviews. I was on this for a few months. These people were nothing but mean and cruel to each other. My "Neighbors" went so far as to hope I get Covid and die from it. These people vote. No wonder our country is going downhill with these bullies. I deleted my account and the app. HORRIBLE.
I got suspended from Nextdoor again for no reason. It appears Nextdoor and our local Leads are very liberal sided. They allow comment and posts from the left and BLUE supporters but when someone from the right (RED) comments they get censored and suspended. I was not abusive, combatant or un-neighborly.
I don't appreciate being treated like a 6 year old.
You get your account suspended without a reason why and no accountability from who filed a complaint. This site is biased to whatever the Lead feels.
You can't discuss a lot of issues especially why you were suspended.
They don't give you a warning.
I was permanently disabled when trump is a sociopath.
Don't EVER let them have your real email address or you WILL regret it! I cannot unsubscribe from them no matter how I try.
Bias and one-sided censorship. If you talk pro Marxism or pro democrat values and ideas then you are all good to say whatever you want even if it goes against their guidelines.
If your views are different then you are silenced or bullied by other users. If you decide to report their actions nothing happens but if you say a fraction of what the opposing person says and they report you then you're suspended.
Worst site - app that I ever had.
Site for pearl-clutching hall monitors intent on quashing one's First Amendment rights. You'll be banned if you don't kiss $#*! with the moderators, who will be one of your retired neighbors with lots of time on their hands and few active synapses.
There are way too many useless emails from Nextdoor.com.
Emails such as apparent shooter, lost cat and dog, loud sound in the middle of the night.
There are so many useless emails. Please stop!
Worst social media conducting strict censorship with no free speech at all; minorities voices are silenced. Unfair treatment and non-equal treatment. App protects those radical left who are hateful, intolerant and violent.
Nextdoor is a liberal BS website that does not let people speak their mind. Boycott it!
This site suspended, then terminated my account for calling white supremacists and black lives matter racist organizations, because they both base their beliefs on skin color.
The concept of Nextdoor is great, the reality is horrible. It's good for things like missing pets or local events, but it's mostly neighbors complaining about each other. Posting inappropriate things, that really belong on personal Facebook pages. Anyone can see what you post and vice versa. Also anyone can comment on what you post, so that leads to lots of trolls. There really isn't a way to moderate the comments. I was a community reviewer and the leads are also just community members. If a post or comment is reported, we vote on if it should be removed. So it's really the opinion of the leads if something gets removed. So as you can imagine, if the lead agrees, the reported content doesn't get removed. It's biased. Horrible things stay on, minor things get deleted. This site puts neighbors against neighbors. The reality is that it goes against everything they say it is
Lately people have posted that their political signs were taken. I always said what a shame. Then of course, people express their views. I would never insult anyone. I do have views, and because they lean right, I was kicked off the site (I'm guessing) because of those views. No one ever got in touch to say why. I only found out by trying to get on and couldn't. Have deleted the app. DON'T USE IT.
If you have a fair opinion of Trump, stay away. If you voice your opinion on the covid hoax, stay away. The left is allowed to bully, discriminate, and ban whoever they dont agree with. They let who ever invthe neighborhoods act as leads and it goes to their heads. Banning polls, discussions, or profile pics they don't like. As bad as facistbook and twatter. #NextdoorNazis
Answer: The negative reviews are honest reactions to being duped into sharing too much personal information (that Nextdoor now owns and will NEVER delete and will continue to sell to advertisers until your dying day) to join a site that seems friendly on the surface, but which does NOTHING to protect users. I was bullied by a convicted murderer, who is a Lead in my neighborhood--and I was banned from the site for complaining. Leads are nothing more than early adopters of the site who have been assigned power over other users so that Nextdoor does not have to police it's own site. In short: No. The negative reviews are not wrong. Heed them! I wish I had known before it was too late!
Answer: Forget about nextdoor and leads. Get a life, a real one. Don't waste your time with toxic online communities that tend to get the worst out of people. My advise is run away while you still have some dignity left.
Answer: Kay is right. That is their policy. However, don't expect them to hold to it. We have leads unfairly removing only some people's comments and Nextdoor does nothing about it. Best bet, dump nextdoor.
Answer: Neighborhood. Rocks is in development. Another 6 months.
Answer: Truth is like oil and water. As long as the scam artist have enough venture capital (other people's money) they will continue to shake the bottle leaving it a murky view obscuring the truth. Run out of cash, they'll be exposed for the incompetent boobs they are and the top dogs will clear out their bank accounts and move on to the next scam. One look at their "leading edge tech" pulled right out of the 1980's is proof enough they will die in the tar pits just like the fellow dinosaurs. Want a state of the art app? Answer: Dallas, SiteJabber rates it at 16%. It would surely rate lower if there weren't so many fake positive reviews. Folks review Nextdoor either 1 or 5. The fives read like ads about Nextdoor's features and potential. The ones are written by real people and give accounts of how awful their experiences were.
Answer: Several other reviewers on this site have had the same thing happen to them. We have been fully banned from nextdoor (beyond just "suspension"), but they keep our profiles, and sometimes our names still appear in the neighbor registry. They refuse to remove us fully, I suppose, in an attempt to misrepresent our endorsement and participation there. It's clearly unethical, but their TOS states that they can do this, as any nd apologist will point out.
Answer: Here's a tidy answer from corporate... Hi Colleen, Thanks for getting back to me. Our Community Guidelines prohibit posting about Lead activity on the main newsfeed. If your Leads are inactivate and youre concerned about moderation in your neighborhood, you should reach out directly to Nextdoor Support. If you have any specific concerns I can help you with at this time, please let me know. Best, Amanda Nextdoor However, the minute you alert corporate to issues with leads in your community you'll find your account terminated. They are very protective of the information surrounding who really is controlling the activities on the boards. Most people in my community are under the misguided impression that corporate is in control. They don't even consider it is their neighbor who sits in judgement.
Answer: Nextdoor wants your full legal name, house number and address and your email address that they link all together. As an added bonus... They have a little map that you can click on. That way if, OMG, you offend someone the little map leads them straight to your house. Run, do not walk, away from this site. No good comes from Nextdoor.
Answer: Your name and address will be known to everyone who uses the NextDoor application and website. I don't suggest using it. I recently discovered that low income apartments in ghetto areas might be able to use the application to do crime. Car theft, asaaults, kidnapping and just about everything else under the sun.
