Ever since i know myself, Newegg is my place to buy electronic items online. I love their responsive site and customer support.
Stay Away! Newegg and Antonline ripped me off big time. This might be illegal and I know for sure it is unethical!
I ordered a laptop from them through Newegg and was not given a shipping option. When I got a tracking number I saw that it was going to require a signature but I am at work during the day so I wouldn't be there to sign for it. I contacted UPS and Newegg and they both told me that I would have to work with Antonline to get the package.
I contacted Antonline and asked them to either change the address to my work address or leave it at a UPS location so I could pick it up. The rep told me that they couldn't (or wouldn't) change it even though UPS told me that only the sending party had the authority to change a shipment. I went back and forth with all parties several times and eventually the Antonline rep told me to just let it get returned and then order it again to a new address. Because I wasn't home to sign for the package, it automatically got returned they charged me $110 as a restock fee even though their restock policy is that you would get charged if you "refused" a package. Which I didn't! I wanted the package but the Antonline rep purposefully told me they would not help me change the address so it would come back to them.
I've contacted them numerous times and no one ever got back to me. Newegg refused to help me as well. This is unethical at the very least and possibly illegal! They basically shipped a package so no one could receive it and then refused to help so they could collect $110 from me for nothing. Please spare yourself the pain.
On Nov 21st I placed an order for a video/graphics card. The amount was over $400. They sent the order UPS ground, which took a week. On the day it was sent to be delivered (Nov 30th), UPS lost the package but would not confirm its loss. For 3 days UPS kept saying the package would arrive before finally admitting it was lost. On Dec 3rd I filed a lost merchandise claim with UPS, and on Dec 6th I filed with NewEgg. On Dec 9th UPS confirmed that the package could not be found and closed the claim. As of today (Dec 17th), NewEgg has still not refunded my money. I have called them several times, but I am constantly told they are processing the request. I CANNOT GET MY MONEY BACK!

Had all the components needed for an awesome Gaming PC and the shipping was pretty fast. ALSO prices are fair. ;)
They used to be a really good place to shop. They have stopped caring about their customers. This is evidenced by 1Hr+ hold times on support calls and even webchat! The last two packages I ordered with 2-3 day delivery did not arrive for over 9days (first), and 8 days (second). I can't blame the carrier though, The delay was all newegg. Tracking clearly showed that while the ship tag was generated on order it was never actually boxed and given to FedEx for 4-5 days! After waiting on hold for 70 minutes to get delivery information, mainly asking why the parts I ordered one week earlier hadn't arrived, their response: "We're sorry you expect your order to be delivered quickly, You may have had that in the past, but you could have paid the rush processing to have it shipped sooner." Rush processing is a $3 per order fee they charge to ship your order on the day you order it, you know what every other retailer in existence does for free... I shouldn't have to pay $3 to have them not take 4-5 days to box and ship my order!"

"Item ordered from the marketplace seller (American Medical Supply) does not arrive at all. Call the customer care goes on and on waiting for more than 45mins... really? I have had no oppurtunity to talk to them at all and 3-4 such efforts in vain. Even the chat says waiting time of 10mins and does not connect at all.
When i raise the concern via mail Jay from service team includes the seller. Its a story started 3 weeks back and seller would hardly respond to mails. And now the best part is seller asks me raise a theft complaint with shipping provider and bluntly rejects to provide even the refund(forget about the replacement even aftr waiting for 3 weeks) and cleanly washes off hands... How pathetic could this seller be... still co-ordinating with Jay. Hopefully Newegg would intervene n resolve this issue. Will update this review as i hear back. "

Being on a fixed income, I had to purchase the components over a period of time. After two months I had a Asus Hero VIII, i5 processor, DD4 memory sticks, WD 1 tb hard drive, 750 watt power unit, Thermaltake G41 chassis, and a Asus 24 (?) inch monitor. ALL recommended by Newegg for a compatible build.
I'm not sure about the size or model of the monitor as it's in the shop being checked over. It quit after two weeks of use.
I installed all the components into my new chassis and fired up my new build. And... nothing. I checked and re-checked everything. Still nothing. The MB runs thru its diagnosis, says it's ready to go, but nothing. I took it to the computer shop. The Geek had it for a week. He couldn't get it to work.
Over the 4th of July, my Grandkid showed up. He's built over ten computers. He couldn't get it to run. I live adjacent to a private college prep high school. They have an outstanding 'Tech' center. The teacher and a couple of students couldn't get it running.
Bottom line is this. I can understand having a defective part or component. It happens. But to send all this crap and nothing works? The return policy is way over thirty days, so I'm stuck with it. Customer service is no help.
I now have a real pretty and expensive paper weight. Once I can save up some more money, I'll take it to a well equipped computer shop, and have them isolate which component is bad. Then I'll buy a replacement part. But I guarantee you it won't be from Newegg. Really. Why bother ordering from Newegg if all they are going to do is take your money in exchange for junk. Go somewhere else.

I would rate it lower if I could, I had an issue with the package that was sent before(Showed a deliver by date when ordering and paying, when date came they claimed it was really a different date). I should have never used them again. With everything that is going on with the USPS I made sure it would be shipped using UPS. Well they fail to mention they only use UPS to give it to USPS. Now they are doing a claim process that can take an additional 7-10 business days, and I am sure even longer after that to get my money back. I ordered the package July 19th with estimated 4-7 business days delivery time frame. It is now August 8th.
I will literally use any other company even if I am paying more just to avoid NewEgg. If I hear of anyone even THINKING of using NewEgg they will get an ear full from me, and my recommendation will be to use ANYONE else. I am now in the process of finding every review site I possibly can, so I can blast newegg. That is how bad my experiences with this company have been. I will be loud and vocal to any and all about it.

Hope i can give a no star to this hopeless website, I placed a order for unlocked cell phone ( sales order no: *******) and rushed it. Its been more than 72 hours and i didnt recived any shipping information on top of it i called the customer service more than 5 times, they have been telling the same story again again i kinda pissed of with their computerised answers. They are telling that they initiated the shipping from a outside vendor where newegg does'nt have visibility to check whether the order has been shipped or not, I need it real bad as i am leaving the city on monday wont be back untill for 30days. I called newegg customer service before placing the order they told that if i rushed it i will be getting it quickly, so they charged me for both rush order and expedite shipping.
Let me tell you about your customer service, The ladies i spoke with are of no use instead they are suggesting to cancel the order. In the first place why the hell are you selling something on your website which newegg does'nt have any control. And why your making false promises and charging people for the services which you actually did'nt provided ( Like rush order, Expedite shipping...). I made more than 5 calls, Everytime I have been on hold or on wait for more than 30 minutes, technically i spent more than 3 hours of my time either talking with your hopless customer service or checking fake status in your rotten egg website, This will be my last purchase, I will play a significant role in publicising the false and fake things you guys do and try to stop as many people as i can visiting your hopless website

My video card is defective. It does not function as advertised. I contacted NewEgg and they directed me to the manufacturer. I went through the support at the manufacturer and they RMAd the card. The new card had the same exact issue. I called the manufacturer again and said it was a known defect and to contact newegg.
I then contacted NewEgg and informed them of the situation. They authorized an RMA with them. Even though the serial numbers would be different because the card had been replaced, they said as long as it had all the pieces they would honor the return.
I mailed the unit and received an email that the RMA has been rejected because the serial numbers do not match... I have since spoken to half a dozen different representatives who, after an hour of holds and explanations, understand the situation and tell me I will get a credit that day. I've spent countless hours just trying to get this resolved.
Finally after posting a review they contact me back and fix the RMA. Unfortunately, they gave me half my money back and half a gift card and refuse to do anything about it. I've already bought a new card, how long exactly was I supposed to wait for a credit that was rejected multiple times.
I tried going through their "*******@newegg.com" email and got the same run around and poor customer service I got on the phone.
Do yourself a favor and go with a retailer that stands behind their products and will make things right on the first attempt not the 12th...

Newegg.com is committing fraud accross state lines when they offer to rush processing and don't bother to get it to fed ex that day and they took my money for next business day and sent it standard. I put aside time to wait for Fed ex. They didn't care. They wanted me to wait another day and then casually refund my shipping money. Nope. I told them to stop that package and refund my money. They refused to do that and no time on when I get it back. So I filed Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General of PA complaints and also BBB, Consumer Affairs. This is absolute fraud. They used to be great but Fed ex even noted they had to fix the label because they screwed up even putting that on my package correctly and it wouldn't scan. These people are losers. I thought they were great and used to recommend them but last two orders mixed up and they still won't fix my keyboard insurance that is put on some charging cables. No one understands me when I told them I bought insurance and they put it on the wrong thing. Again, taking my money, not listening, giving me what they want, take it or leave, we don't care... that is new egg now. I want my money back right now and I am so not taking back the complaints. The things I had to move around to wait for that package today... and I needed that, I fell for your scam. How come you losers can't even put the shipping label on right? LA-OOO-SERS

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
