New Chic is a scam. I ordered a Xmas gift for my wife, New Chic charged my card then told me the item was backordered--which is simply saying we will ship at our convenience. It has been 24 days and I believe we may see the shipment sometime in the next 12 days which is too long. Wish I read the reviews before I realized this was an offshore site. Message to New Chic: if you want to play in the US market take some ownership and have inventory and shipping distribution on the US mainland. I plan on rejecting the shipment... if it ever gets here...

Newchic (externally) advertised a nice looking winter coat for a reasonable price, and I decided to take the gamble. Knowing that if something is wrong with the product you cannot realistically return it because the shipping fee would be too costly. It was not on stock, but would be shipped after 15 days. After 15 days I was offered 3 options: to cancel the order, get 10% off next order if I wanted it shipped Dec the 26th or even 35% off if I accepted a later shipment date. I wanted it to be shipped ASAP so I could still use it this winter, so I chose the Dec 26th option. One day before it was supposed to be shipped Newchic just canceled my order. I complained that I didn't want it to be canceled and the only reply I got was that the computer canceled it automatically and nothing could be done about it. While they cancel my order after waiting for over a month to it to be shipped they still take in new orders for this coat. I am furious about how this company operates and treats its customers. Imagine having to wait for two hours when you ordered something in a restaurant and then they tell you your order has been canceled while they are seating new customers on tables next to you. This is how it feels to get my order canceled by these morons after waiting so long. Never again.

Purchased some bras from this company. They are poorly made and only about half the size of the U.S. size they were supposed to match, so don't even come close to fitting. All packing information is in Chinese, so unable to read or verify any of it. Although I explained all of this courteously to the company, they would not do anything except tell me to send them back to China at my own expense, then they would decide if they would refund or replace. At least the bras were inexpensive, but the product and the service reflect this--I guess you get what you pay for, especially from this company. I have bought things from online from all over the world and have NEVER had this problem with another company. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT purchase from this company!

I've read a lot of reviews complaining of various problems which is inevitable for such a big company sending out thousands upon thousands of stock items.
My experience, for what it's worth is as follows:-
The boots I ordrered arrived pretty much on time give or take.
However, there was a little problem with the item I received and without hesitation they refunded my money, no problem!
I have purchased several items from them with zero problem and so I can only commend this company for its professionalism.
I'll have no hesitation to continue going to them for items I might need in the future.

I ordered some shoes that took approximately 2 months to get to my home. Then they were the wrong size. I assumed that when I ordered 6US that meant it was a size 6 from the United States. They were too big and I couldn't even tell what size they were because they were not on the shoe. I spoke to customer service who asked if I could sell them or give them to someone else. Why would I want to do that if they were the ones that sent me the wrong size? Ridiculous! I was told to measure the shoe and send a picture to make sure that I didn't order the wrong size and if they sent the wrong size, they would pay the freight. I couldn't even exchange them because I would still be responsible for the freight even though this was not my fault. Needless to say I didn't take a picture or return the show in fear that I was not going to get anything resolved or my money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM or make sure that you order something that you are not going to return. It is such a hassle! They just lost a customer and I will let everyone I know not to buy from them.

An ad popped up on my facebook for credit card/cash wallets that lie flat. Sounded like great idea as I have my c crds in a holder but no place for cash. I ordered two. Arrived quickly which was good. When I put my credit cards in it... only one to a slot... it was tight to load, but when done, it was unbelievable! It was all bent up at the end... it looked like a shark with his mouth opened wide. I was able to snap it, but the snap will break before too long. It's embarrassing if I am a register and go for a credit card... the wallet looks so out of shape... horrible. There is NO WAY I can give the other for a gift as planned. I've asked for a complete refund and they want to give me "points" instead. Not interested... want my money back Very disappointed.

Be very careful when choosing your size {eg. Underwear}: each brand has its own strange and confusing method: I advise to pick an extra size larger than what you are used to choose (after converting to European size).
Delivery time can be a bit long (up to 7 weeks in my case) so this is not a place to order for a gift on a specific date or if you are in a rush.
I recommend this web site for the unique original products, their overall good quality, and the fact that I have always eventually received what I had ordered.
Item became out of stock. I was offered an alternative or refund. I opted to wait. Jerry at customer service kept me up to date and I received my jacket in time for Christmas. I am very impressed with their customer service. I have noticed most items of clothing from China comes up small so I ordered a size bigger and its perfect.
I purchased a shoe that looked good in the pictures, and was described as leather, but when received it was some plastic rubbish. Returning it to China would cost a lot and based on previous reviews they wouldn't refund even after returning the item.
I have to throw it in the bin and consider it a lesson learned.
Will never buy from this place again. It is a fraud.

Answer: A friend from Reading placed an order 14 weeks ago. Total cost was 21 GBP. He contacted NewChic about his order 5 times. Their standard answer (WAIT FEW MORE DAYS). Eventually he gave up and lost the 21GBP. If you have extra money that you want to throw away, NewChic is the way to go. They will take your money; send you nothing and tell you (we are sorry. We will fix situation). But they do nothing
Answer: Ordered a purse, it is the dimensions listed. But what they don't show is that the zipper is sewn in 2" below the top and reduces the opening size. Not which is shown and not "workable" as a purse. Communications with the company for returns result in frustration. The first statement is "you will be responsible to return this to China and it is very expensive. Do you want to proceed?" The address they gave is incomplete and does not come up on Google maps.
