My experience was to save money on shipping, this was not the case, ended up paying more going through myus.com and my goods took longer to get to me, due to consolidation, as where if i had sent them individually as per purchase. I one would have received my goods sooner, and two it was still cheaper to send this way. I am not happy, no savings made here just a hole in the wallet.
Michael was fantastic, he replied to my 'contact us' question promptly and by asking me for only a few small pieces of information, he was able to reactivate my account really quickly and ensure that my most recent order got to the stage where I could fill in the shipping request. Many thanks!
I signed up for a basic account with no intention of using the website (or any website like it), just to see what kind of features were available etc. I was automatically assigned as a premium member and a month later from signing up (today), I was billed USD $7 to my Paypal. It also turns out that it costs USD $10 to change my membership from premium to basic. They don't have an easy 'delete account' button, either, you have to contact their support team to have a deletion link sent.
On top of this, the shipping rates [to New Zealand] are insane, over USD $40 for a small and lightweight package. Do not sign up.

I really appreciate MyUS having the consolidation feature available as one of the leading forwarding agent doesn't have this ability and everything from Amazon just touch and go; making it a real pain in the pocket when one could've just waited for a few days before sending a very small item.
Another experience is the packaging expertise from MyUS. Glenn did a fine job in stowing all the coffee bags, Meccano box and iphone cases.

This company is a total fraud. When I created shipping request, my items weighed 39 lbs but they charged by for 49 lbs. Upon asking they said the weight increased due to packaging. Are you kidding me? You add 10 lbs of packaging? What a hoax! I will raise awareness against this company on every platform!
Hi Umair. While weight can increase or decrease once your shipment is consolidated and packaged, 10 lbs is a big difference. I see our team explained how this could happen via Live-Chat. Additionally - the original weight of the package that the carrier reports to us could be inaccurate. We weigh packages twice before they're shipped, so rest assured the most accurate weight is recorded. I found that this site has ups & downs. The issue is that MYUS round up their weight to the nearest 10. This is only a problem for me if I only have one order coming through instead of my usual.
Another issue is that you can't purchase from Ulta with their personal shopper system, I suspect there may be more sites that you can't purchase from either.
Everything else is okay, I mean there may be better sites out there but for now, I'm somewhat satisfied with their service. They are quick & have an online chat assistant if you have any issues.
Very Interesting, after more than five years of working smoothly with Shipito, I tried to change the provider to MyUS. I did register but my account has been manually rejected for no reason. I wonder if maybe my Muslim name looks suspicious so that I am most likely subjected to bombing the account :), ridiculous.
The reasons for being declined have multiple factors involved. We proudly ship hundreds of thousands of packages to the middle east.
There was some confusion regarding whether my package was actually shipped or not and I sent an email to which Angel replied. Her reply was quick and complete and cleared up my confusion immediately. I have been using MYUS.com for many years now as I am an expat and live in Saudi Arabia and I am so grateful for this service as so many companies do not ship here. I have been shopping on line from Dubai using the services of MyUS.com for several years. Although there were a few rocky patches in the beginning, including a period where I left the service, the efficiency of the system now is certainly beyond the high standards that I expect from a service company such as MyUS. I generally never do online surveys but to give something back to the staff who went out of their way to assist me getting urgently needed swimwear for my daughter, I am making an exception as their assistance was indeed commendable. I was properly attended to by Julie on issues of the items despite my mistake & persistence changing value of another item on one she still politely address me with respect why it is not the item i mentioned. I have never see this type of response from MyUS.
I have been having a great deal of difficulty contacting customer service via email. I got onlive chat with Jessica today and she solved my problem within minutes and even passed the information on to the correct department. I hope to have my package shipped out very soon now.

I had a great experience with the agent Amor. He was able to answer all questions promptly, helped with the processing of invoices, and offered valuable advice to ensure my packages arrive quickly with minimal shipping costs.
Constantly they would overvalue my purchases for customs, even when I have sent appropriate invoice information. Everything is two or three messages to correct. The last item before I closed my account, they charged me 160 us dollars to ship 32 pound single item to Canada. Now it is taking me just as many messages to close my account!. For Canadians... stay far away... or you will be very disappointed, to say the least.

Worst experience ever! Their shipping rate calculator is a scam, it says a low price for budget economy & express but then when you have your packages and go to checkout they add duties, taxes and assurance so they double the price! And you don't have a choice whereas I know there is no taxes or duties at delivery with this method under $100. If I knew I would never have sent my items to their warehouse. In addition, they don't respect their engagement they say they offer 20% off first shipment but they told me budget methods are cheap so they will not add the 20% off?! I paid $41 shipping for a $70 worth package what a RIP OFF!

Website was extremely confusing to both request service and to direct the packages to be mailed to me. And I could not find what the actual charges would be. The package did get here (western Canada) very quickly from southern US. However, it was sent UPS which charged me an extra handling fee of $35. Overall this was a costly experience and not worth it for the items purchased.

My first time using MyUS and it turned into a disaster. I have emailed, called, online chat, online feedback and try every means to contact MyUS for many weeks and did not get any response. The package has been shipped for 5 months since May, I still did not get it. The local government many arms are investigating this criminal matter, hope MyUS could cooperate. Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
