I am rather very conservative when it comes to reviews and I don't very often give a 5 star rating easily. I must admit though that on this particular instance, the service from both myus.com and their courier agent has been very exceptional and far exceeded my expectation. I am very presently surprised to receive my parcel in a record time of 3 days from Tampa, Florida to Lusaka.
All of the team at MYUS.com are great. They make shipping to New Zealand a breeze. The Personal Shopper service is also amazing. Staff are always friendly and quick to reply.
Kelly on their live chat service was awesome today. Answered my question quickly.

My first package was received before the expected date. It was packaged well and with care. I have tried other services and find they have competitive prices. Email correspondence has been quick and friendly and everything is dealt with in a timely manner. Excellent experience.

During the process of buying and paying always had the support of the staff despite the time difference between Angola and the United States of America.

Had an issue with a package. Chatted with CS and they said to wait a couple days for response. While waiting, package shipped. Got overcharged TWICE. Emailed to complain and was told "too bad-figure it out next time". Not using again.

Amor helped me with my questions and even extended my first time shipper discount. Very grateful and thankful for that. There were moments however that took 3-5 minutes of no response which just left me there sitting staring at the monitor.
I used the UK MyUS service, the package was turned around en-route due to the fact it contained 2 devices containing lithium ion batteries which it clearly says is allowed on their website. Customer service after that has been shockingly poor, it appears that my package has been lost on return to the UK depot, the package contains $1.5k+ of goods so obviously I would like them to investigate but they are unwilling to do anything apart from make me wait longer for the UK guys who possibly will answer an email (the package was sent nearly a month ago.
Chances are that your package will be delivered and you will have a good experience but just be aware if something goes wrong, they have 0 interest in resolving the issue.

Myus just sucks bull cr@p. I just kept waiting for my shipments and they didn't even provide tracking information on my account and didn't care if the shipments actually reached me or not. They asked me to contact my country's depot where they shipped it and got no reply there too. Now after waiting for 6 extra days they tell me to contact the customs as my shipments are stuck and then file a claim if nothing works. SERIOUSLY? What are you guys for if ALL OF THIS is to be done manually by me and my own searching efforts? Please don't waste your time with this service. Find a better one!

Worst experience so far! MyUS.com logged my package against the wrong suite and after 5 days of identifying that the package was logged against the wrong suite, they email me today to say that it will take another 3-6 weeks to have the package returned to their facilities! This is totally absurd!
You have the invoice of the item shipped to you. Please reimburse me the cost and keep the item!

Expensive service.
My first time using MyUS.com and turned out to be a Costly mistake to Nigeria. Ordered 3 pairs of shoes from DSW, sent to my suite at MyUS. Firstly, was very surprised at the shipping fee. Was charged $100+ fee for the shipping from US to NG.
Few days later, got a bigger surprise from the carrier. I was asked to pay an additional $100 as clearing charges. What? Meaning paying over $200 to ship 3 pairs of shoes from the US to Nigeria. Using MyUS.com to ship turned out to be an expensive mistake as there are cheaper and just as effective options.
Wish I had known from the onset what the shipping (and then clearing) cost would be. Would have cancelled the order when I saw the first $100+ charge but was too late to cancel as the order had already shipped.
Advise to anyone planning to use this service to Nigeria: do your homework first or else you could end up paying double the cost of what you purchased.

I signed up for this a year ago as I needed to ship something from the USA. I completely forgot about the service until I checked my credit card and noticed that they had billed me for another year with no prior warning. Legally, they have to inform customers of upcoming subscription charges and give customer the option to cancel. I contacted their customer service, who were no help at all. I won't be using this service again and I will be contacting my credit card so their legal department can contest the charge on my behalf. I will also complain to the relevant regulators of their business for failing to comply with consumer laws. I won't be using this company again, they are another one that tried to scam customers by the subscription service without warning.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
