I was having problem adding correct value to two separate items which were shipped in the one package.
I logged complaint about it. One of the support team members by the name Michael responded and told me what to do. I could not response quickly because of time deference but when I woke in the morning and read the mail and provided the information he asked me of, Michael resolved the issue and close the case under 20 minutes.

This was my first try with MyUS.com for a shipment to Europe and my experience was just awful. My shipment from the shop arrived properly to MyUS.com, was sent to me prompt, but then couldn't be delivered because of a problem with the postal code. I inquired many many times on the status of my shipment and 4 months long I received the answer it is on its return way to MyUS because it couldn't be delivered and return shipments can take longer and it will be resent when it arrives back in my suite. After an additional request last week I was just informed in a rather offhad way that my item was destroyed (!) because "I failed to claim the package for return properly" what makes absolutely no sence as MyUS.com is the sender of the package, its the purpose of their company and its the service they offer, so is responsible to claim the items properly when sending them out to the recepients so that they can be returned in case they are not delivered. I haven't got any support at all during all those months waiting for this shipment and asking for the status update, only common answers. I will surely never use the "service" again, they seem even not to understand what kind of service they offer and get money for.
All my concerns were taken care of in an orderly fashion. My parcel was on time and quickly shipped without any shipping issues!

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.
