I had a problem with my shipment due to the restrictions in shipping powerbanks to my country. I communicated my concern with several agents and all of them 1. WERE NOT RESPONSIVE TO MY CONCERN, 2. WERE NOT WILLING TO HELP ME 3. DONT KNOW HOW TO ASSIST ME.
I was already getting frustrated and really disappointed with MyUS that I decided to cancel my membership and to never recommend the services to my friends, EVER! Until I had a chat with John Benedict, I was straight forward with him, I wanted a supervisor right away but he probe as to what my concern is. He reviewed my account and provided me the best option for my problem. He even went extra mile in providing me information on what I should do next. JOHN KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING IN MYUS. Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.
