Ian was outstanding! I spoke to numerous customer service reps from different companies that day because I needed answers to the questions MyUS had regarding the item that's on hold.
Though my issue isn't resolved yet, I appreciate Ian's commitment and zeal towards assisting me.
I wish that he'd follow up and do a temp check but I'm guessing MyUS doesn't do outbound calls.

I recently made a substantial purchase and needed it to be freight forwarded via the MyUS service. I had difficulty getting into my account and was concerned that the goods would arrive but that there might be problems with my account. Thru our online chat Kelly was able to put my mind at ease. This company has been easy breezy to deal with since I first started a couple of years ago however in the last package I received one of my items looks like it may have been missed out. It's easily replaceable and didn't cost an arm and a leg but it was the customer service provided by Kelly on the Live Chat option somehow made this item worth losing! Her service was prompt, polite and had a nice personal touch to it that made it less like dealing with a computer and more like dealing with someone who really cares. Her service was A+++. Good job MyUS on not just providing an awesome service but for having employees like Kelly.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
