Dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare.

We booked $4,000.00 worth of flights with this company in December and the flight was cancelled for reasons outside of our control. We ended up being stranded half-way through our flight and MyTrips finally responded the following day! They left us completely stranded and we had to find our own way home. We had cancellation insurance so we expected to receive a refund and ended up having to fight this company for the last 5 months for our money back.

Over a month and a half ago, they emailed us to notify that we did actually qualify for the refund. We have yet to see this credit and they have blocked my emails so I am unable to contact them.

Absolutely deplorable the way these people conduct business. I have never felt so powerless as a consumer.

Mytrip is an unethical online travel agency. It is impossible to get any information like an email address or office address for this business - forget about finding a name for any of their employees. Once you research them (something I should have done before using my credit card) you will find they hide all consumer and public comments from view on social media like Facebook so one cannot see what consumers have said about them nor have your own comments visible. Mytrip is not transparent and have no interest in customer service nor fair consumer practices. Their UK phone number (I live in Europe) redirects to a call centre in India where the agents work from scripts. So you are are dealing with a ghost company. Once you give them your money, guaranteed youll never see it again irrespective of circumstances. I suspect the majority of positive ratings for Mytrip on Trustpilot was posted by the company itself.

SCAM BOOKING SITE

Absolutely unprofessional and fraudulent site.
No customer service provided whatsoever.
We booked the tickets only to find out few days before our flight that it has been supposedly cancelled (although checking with airline operating, the flight was still on schedule). We haven't received proper replacement options to rebook our flights (only parts of the flights were provided, not full itinerary) and after several calls to their support team no one is able to provide any clarity or response to situation. If you want to cancel the service, fee of 113 EUR per person will be deducted from your refund and this fee is significantly higher than fee stated in their T&C policy. Ultimately they take the money, do not fulfill the service and make you further waist your time while trying to get any explanation from them on any of the points mentioned. Highly recommended to avoid the site at all costs!

Scammers! Steer clear!

Owe us money due to cancelled flights. Gave us 'open tickets' then wouldn't allow us to use them although reading other reviews, to rebook there would have been extortionate charges on top of what has already been paid. Promised calls back and nothing and when I call, they can't help, promised another call back from their imaginary 'support team' and go round in circles like that. Not ATOL protected and no complaints procedure. No response to official complaint made by email and by post.
Trading standards have been informed.
Steer clear. Will be taking further.

Don't ever go on that website, they are jut thieves! Takes hours to reach them they hang up on me twice never called me back. They also never answer my emails! When I finally got in touch with an agent after calling 4 times waiting each time at least an hour and couldn't help me at all! Had no solution for changing my flight or refunding me, he keeps repeating "non refundable" without giving me other solutions. They just steal 1300$ from me! My retreat got canceled because the wild fire destroyed the entire region in Turkey where I was going and they won't do anything to help me! It's unacceptable!

Booked 4 flights through them, and one got canceled. When I asked for refund multipe times, I got only automatically generated emails. When I called the customer service, I waited for half an hour, the guy that picked up barely spoke english, and then left me waiting on the line for half an hour again, before I hung up. Clearly they had no intention of refunding me, although they had been refunded by ryanair right after the cancellation.
I did get my money back finally, because I asked skyscanner (I found mytrip through their website, where it btw has a good rating somehow) to contact them, so I am writing this in case someone is in a similar situation.

Worst company

This company didn't support you. I did my check in online 6 hours before my flight. They said that they have issues with their website or the airline. Because they didn't provide my boarding pass not even 3 hours before my flight. If you don't do it 2 hours before you have to do it trough the airline. I had to pay € 30 fee in order to do my check in with Ryanair. They didn't provide any advice of what to do if you can not get the boarding pass from them. If I can give them (-) stars I will do it. Hope you guys read the reviews and don't be like me that usually don't pay attention to them.

Had the same horrible experience with this fake company. My sister couldn't come to Canada through the US because the US made a travel restriction to non US citizens. So she couldn't get on her flight, and this "company" kept making non consistent excuses, and trying to *******@aircanada be responsible. Customer services didn't understand anything, or played dumb. Basically hired to irritate you and frustrate you enough to give up. Hours on hold, many phone calls between them and Air Canada. We just wanted another ticket, or credit, we didn't want a refund. Hung up on us twice. So, bottom line: NEVER f****ng use mytrip. Or any other 3rd party agency for that matter.

Unbelievable how bad this site is. Called 20x with the UK (+ 10 mails) for quotation to book a return flight. Each time they promised to mail or you will be put on hold, but nothing happens (and on hold the line is canceled 90% of time). You can not escalate anywhere. In the meantime, 2 months later (!) And I have booked a single flight outside of mytrip.com.

I never complain through these sites - but with mytrip books is really a bad idea. Zero customer support.

Eventually received a proposal that was more expensive than buying a separate single ticket outside of my trip. A shame of my 380 euros - completely due to bad communication to act extremely slow on their part.

Never use this service, pay few $ more somewhere else

This is a stupid company with very poor business ethics. I booked 3 tickets from London to Kolkata in Dec 2019. Connecting flight Del-kol-Del got cancelled(Jet is dead). Sent them 50 emails and not a single reply yet. After several failed [hone attempts(30-40 mins call and disconnect) spending almost £190 phone bill calling overseas and premium 0844 number I decided to pay the admin fee even though I don't need to as it's not my fault. Virgin told agent should call them and t can be rescheduled what they did who bought ticket directly from them. 12 days back I was told that if I pay admin fee they will sort out my flight from del-kol-del in 1-2 days. Till now no response. Sent 50 emails. Can't call anymore as it's a waste of my money. How they running their business? People shouldn't buy ticket from them. I am becoming sick now.

Everybody be aware this company is a hoax agency thats only robbing ppl of there hard earned money.
Had my flight cancelled called the airline they said i will get refund but thru tge agency mytrip but tgey wont return my emails or answer any calls.
Been on the phone for over 3 hours.
PLEASE be mindful dont throw your hard earned money away.

We found a great deal on mytrip.com but the flights were cancelled because of COVID. Mytrip themselves offered a refund and then waited 8 months to process my refund while my partner is still waiting for hers. I believe the only reason I got my refund is because I contacted the ECC for help in Europe. If you are an European resident, I highly recommend contacting them if you've already tried every and any means possible with mytrip. I can't be sure this is what helped me get my money back but I definitely recommend. Spread the word. I will never use a 3rd party or travel agency to book a flight again. Awful customer service and blatant disregard in keeping any kind of loyal customers.

What a terrible terrible experience booking with myTrip.com!

The frustration holding on the phone for 20+ minutes more than 10 times within 24 hours, and calls being dropped (in purpose I suspect) were too much. Astronautical canceling fee of $75 even within 24 hours after booking which airlines promised refund without charge, but here is another evil thing about myTrip- mytrip uses their credit card instead of customer's to book flights with airlines, so the refund goes back to their account, then the customer stuck with them with no guaranteed change or refund. Is it even legal?

What an AWFUL AWFUL online travel agent!
Do yourself a favor, avoid with all cost!

Just awful.

I should have been more careful but they wouldn't cover the cost of my uber to change airports. Didn't matter anyways because there was no room for error as my flight was delayed. And baggage was also held up. Don't understand why they couldn't get me a flight into JFK. Asking for 220 euros more despite having a flexible ticket. Shameful company. Avoid with all costs

Bad bad bad! Awful customers service, waited 2 hours over the phone to be hanged up by the operator when she was supposed to look for my booking. Outrageous. Reference number différend than on the order… just a big mess to even contact thenand have my refund since march 2020. Do yourself a favour and look for another travel agency, one that actually care about they customers. I will put a review every single day till the money hit my bank account! Cheers!

100% scam agency. Recently experienced some unpleasant situation when dealing with MyTrip (genuinely surprised why Scascanner is still proposing to buy tickets from them, definity welcome to fraud schemes). When booking one letter in surname turned out misspelled. Btw some airlines allow to use tickets in case of one misspelled letter. MyTrip though charges you at least 90 GBP for that 'without guarantees that the amendments are going to be made at all'. 90 GBP also was the cost of cancelling the tickets and! Attention here! Price of the ticket. Never ever deal with these scammers. Awful unforgettable experience. Please, be cautious, my friend!

I booked a flight ticket last Friday, I never received email with the booking number, but when I checked my credit card info online there was a pending charge of $2000 plus. So I canceled my booking in 2 hours for I spent 2 hours to find how to contact mytrip.com, their phone is in London and nobody took the phone, their voice message is unclear, it hard to understand. But when I checked my credit card info yesterday, mytrip.com didn't refund my money in full, they charged me $30 for doing nothing. I have let my card issuer to dispute the transaction.

The worst service received by myTrip. I booked a flight and after I checked out and agreed to a certain price, an extra £49 came off my account. I went back straight after to check the price again on the same flight and the original price I had agreed on was still the same. After many hours on the phone the only excuse I was given was, "There must have been a price hike in that minute you checked out" and "You must remember you are dealing with a system and not a human so these things can happen". It is absolutely unacceptable that extra money is taken off your account without any notice of a price hike or agreeing to a surcharge. This is theft!

MyTrip: This company might be a fraudulent company. I would advise you do not use this website. They sold us flights that did not exist. In other words, one books the flight, checks in on-line and gets to the airport and the flight does not exist.
Their call center bounced me around for 20 mins and then said I was a " no show" for the flight. There was no flight - we were at the airport and there was no flight.
