The MyHeritage support team are the best!. Polite, patient and ever-supportive. As an "older", rather inexperience computer user, In the past few years I have had several problems which I have been unable to resolve but, invariably, when explaining the difficulty and asking for help I have been well-served. Thank you Dean for advice on the last issue.
Using MyHeritage, I was able to re-establish contact with a family in the UK to whom we had lost any connection seveal decades ago. This was just great! Customer service was also very helpful and responded within a short amount of time, in spite of the Christmas holidays.
I'm using MyHeritage for several years and always with great pleasure. It's easy to use, i never really needed the support team. And now there is also a Mac version of MyHeritage Family Tree Builder. With the same look and feel as the Windows version. That's a great achievement, everything is at same place as in the PC version, so no searching. It's there where you think it is, fantastic. I think it's even better then Reunion and its for free and is support you language. So what you need more.

Great software for creating your Family Tree, also prompt support service if you have a problem. I have done my family and a friends and are in the process of doing my husbands family. Would recommend this site.

Today I encountered a problem finding the All people list in the usual place on the Home page under Family Tree options.
I called the Help Centre and after a short wait, was answered by a friendly representative, who guided me with ease to the new updated position of the All people list
I was then able to continue my work on the site without a hitch

Har använt My Heritage i 2 år. Allt har fungerat bra.Men plötsligt stod alla nya personer som jag lade in som "Okänd " i släktträdet. Jag mailade till supporten och snabbt fick jag svar och en utförlig beskrivning hur jag skulle göra, från Jonas. Det tog lite tid för mej, eftersom jag inte är så datavan. Men det lyckades.
Det negativa som jag kan se, och inte riktigt förstå varför är: Att man måste köpa ytterligare ett abbonemang "World Vital Record " för att kunna se alla uppgifter. Jag har ju redan betalat för My Heritage. Ulla.
I have been using MyHeritage and Family Tree Builder for a few months now; before that I was totally new to the world of genealogy and now I am totally addicted - it is a fascinating journey through time!
I had a two-week free trial on another genealogy site, which I found excellent but it was more expensive than MyHeritage, which I find nearly as good.
When I haven't been able to find an answer on FAQ or Help, MyHeritage support has helped me with the problem.
My one of two complaints is that when MyHeritage give a historical record match, it turns out to be like a smart match, whereas the other website I used gave easy access and historical matches to actual records such as passenger lists, birth, marriage etc. The other is that I have really struggled to find people in the UK and South Africa on MyHeritage.
I have used My heritage for a couple of years and I really like the way it works with all the matches even if a lot of them are irrelevant. Lately I had a problem with dissappering notes but I got immediate and correct help from the support. The only thing I miss is that it is not available for Mac.
I am new to the Family Tree/ Ancestry web sites and software and I love MyHeritage.com. When I was looking into the different family history products available I was put off Ancestory.com because of the high monthly charges (and looking at the reviews on this site getting those charges stopped is a nightmare) so I trialled the free package on MyHeritage and thought I would be happy to keep it at that but I found the software so easy to use and I really started enjoying researching my tree so I decided to pay so I could expand it. I admit I didn't realise there was going to be two charges, one for the web site and one for the Family Tree builder, which I think could be worded a bit clearer so people are aware although they are linked the company sees them as two different products. However, aside from that, I would definitely recommend MyHeritage, the software is easy to use and all the different charts, trees and reports that the Family Tree Builder can create are fun to play around with.
I recently had a question about the way the Family Tree builder and the Web Site work and I received a reply very quickly that was polite, informative and useful.

I have been a subscriber for MyHeritage for several years and find the site extremely helpful te develop my family tree. Without MyHeritage I would not had the success I have had and am having. Using MyHeritage and Family Tree DNA, I have been able to trace my family tree back to Ireland and prove my being a descendent of the "Three Collas". Recently, I had several technical issues that needed support. I contacted MyHertage support and Jonas aided me in correcting all my problems. One of the features I am impressed with most is the "Publishing" feature. Using this feature, one can produce an outstanding family tree book. I would recommend MyHeritage to anyone attempting to develop a family tree.
My account automatically renewed & I was charged twice on the same day. I was also automatically upgraded to (and charged for) the premium service, which I did not want. Within the "account Settings" there is no way of opting out of the automatic renewal. If you don't cancel your account you will be paying forever more. There are no choices for opting in or out of add-ons or additions. There are no contacts on the web site other than the contact form.
I have sent numerous emails to the company, only to receive automatic replies telling me they'll contact me soon. VERY POOR!

I have think My Heritage been using My Heritage for several years. Recently Laura helped me resolve an information storage problem. Her response was so quick, so clear in instructions for me to follow and problem resolved effortlessly. I think My Heritage is great.

I've used My Heritage to create my family tree for both my family and also my wife's family. I find the application easy to navigate and very easy to create family trees. Over the last year, I have reviewed other family tree applications and I have come to the conclusion that the My Heritage applications is, in my opinion the best in terms of ease of use, presentation and the iPad version makes it highly mobile. I am also very impressed with the response when I contacted the support team for assistance. My issues were resolved within 24 hours.
I have been with MyHeritage for a long time and the overall service and tech support has been outstanding. The support group are polite and professional and are always willing to listen to your problems and find quick solutions. Keep up the great work!
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team (support@myheritage.com).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
