Starting this year, I am now Premiummtiglied and therefore also the service has improved.
It is in principle promised what and so I could expand from 87 to now 460 the number of people in my family tree from September to November 2015th

I had problems with my Heritage but after I contacted sitejabber My Heritage contacted me and resolved the problem to my satisfaction.

I am "electronically challenged" but the Support Team at MyHeritage.com and in particular, Shimon, helped me resolve the problem, I had created for myself, very easily.
Service is surprisingly good. When I run into something I can't handle, they get back to me promptly and politely.
I wish there were a way their computers could take a specific match and put all matches on one page to compare with mine. I am simply overwhelmed with matches for the same person(s) in my tree. For example; Could all matches with the name "Jane Doe" be listed together and all confirmed or rejected at one time?
I am thinking about DNA testing, but want to go back the male line. My brother is willing but I am worried about privacy issues.
I have been a member of MyHeritage for many years and the development of this program has been truly remarkable. It is a powerful tool for people interested in discovering their ancestors. I really enjoy it. It is almost addictive.

Empezamos siendo unas pocas familias conectadas por mediación de la herramienta MyHeritage y actualmente en este inicio del año 2016, ya estamos relacionadas 187 familias con un total de 492 personas.
Imposible conseguirlo si no hubiera tenido la ayuda de otros miembros de la familia, que gracias a la simplicidad de uso de la herramienta, ha permitido ir haciendo mas grande este árbol familiar.
Cierto es que no utilizamos toda la potencia de información que el programa permite, pues en muchos casos, es difícil de obtener o conocer, sobre todo cuando se trata de personas fallecidas hace muchos años.
Para muchos de los miembros de este árbol familiar, las opciones de visualización e impresión de una parte del árbol hace que su interés por completarlo sea cada vez mayor.
Hasta cuando y hasta donde llegaremos? No hay que correr, poco a poco es una buena velocidad.
Unfortunately I had not the opportunity to talk to support in German nevertheless the English help given to me was full satisfactory. I received all answers which helped me to under their billing policy.
I was having syncing problems on My Heritage software and with the help of Noa a My Heritage technician, the problems has now bern resolved. He was very gracious and patient and certainly went the extra mile. I do so enjoy this geanology program My Heritage, have been able to connect and find my ancestors and now am able to leave this heritage to my children and grandchildren.

I signed up for MyHeritage in February, 10th, 2009 23:02. A reason was that my father and grandfather created a family tree with the beginning from 1754 but all information was on paper only and therefore very difficult to read and look up it. I once read a review in magazine Computer about genealogy and programs which support it. I decided for MyHeritage because it was (and still is) for free:-). And because it was very easy to create the tree I stood with it up to now. Unfortunately due to lack of free time I interrupted the usage of MyHeritage for a few years. Now I'm retired so I decided to begin again. I wander what changed till now and if some shortages were repaired. It was very easy to create a tree but very difficult to do some changes and repairs, especially when he or she was divorced and married a few times or lived with boyfriend or girlfriend only. Nevertheless I managed to create our family tree and publish it for my relative. Maybe I will publish it for the wider public too and this way to allow the connections with the family trees from somebody else.
I have been using myheritage.com for the past six months and have added 1,131 family members, some dating back to the 1400's and 337 families in this short time. Twice I have asked for additional help from the staff and received a reply within a few hours with the answer. I also have access to Ancestry.com from another family member and I much prefer using My Heritage. The price has been reasonable and I have recommended this site to many friends. I like the way it displays photos and additional information of each family member. This site is user friendly. The Smart Matches and Discoveries are amazing. Kudos to the staff of this exceptional organization.
Update: CEO office eventually gave me my money back. Requesting I update my review.
I use ROOTSMAGIC 7, recent update triggered links to MyHeritage where £90 was demanded for access to FREE CONTENT found on Ancestry and FamilySearch sites as well as others!
Not something I want or need as WORLDWIDE member of several sites.
Still no refund, will file chargeback against MyHeritage merchant.
Site is very weak, uninteresting... just about charging for every service.
Email harassment is unbelievable, forums and facebook report Scam and fleecing accounts of vulnerable, elderly and disabled.
STAY AWAY, DO NOT PROVIDE ANY DATA, as harassment will ensue.
Also, number of trees are riddled with errors, as seem to be trial trees with guessing vs, proven research. Wasted time.
P. S: Consumers: if this company charges without permission or refuses refund request a CHARGEBACK against MyHeritage and it's merchant... or as over £100 file section 75. Breach of contract. No company likes this, as it is a recognised mark against them.

I started using Geni.com and ended up (almost automatically) with a subscription to MyHeritage in order to get more data. I understand MyHeritage owns Geni.com. However, you cannot import work from MyHeritage to Geni.com and for my purposes Geni.com has superior reports. This lack of integration of the sites and lack of support integration has resulted in a waste of time and money for me. The lack of disclosure about trading data along with the lack of adequate support between the two sites has resulted in a very unfavorable experience.
Only my paternal mother is still alive. She is nearly 92 years old, but has a sharp mind. Before she departs this earth I decided to create a family tree on a big sheet of paper. I was soon to run out of space for the branches, but more importantly there were too many missing pieces. After a Google search I came across MyHeritage.com and soon got to grips with just how easy it was to use in creating a graphic family tree. Being a pensioner myself the fact that MyHeritage was free to use up to an acceptable size limit.
In my opinion MyHeritage.com has all the features that a person requires to start a family tree from scratch and then grow the tree according to your allocated budget. A further plus for me has been the fact that old family photographs can now be preserved in your MyHeritage album. Not only can you see who is linked to who in the family branch, but you can also have a face or full photo linked to that family member.
I also think that the support that is offered by strangers also engaged in building their trees, has been an inspiration to me. Without finding MyHeritage.com this would still have me shuffling piles of paper across the table.
I was having a small issue with my tree and sent an email requesting help. Dean returned that email promptly and got me on my way.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team (support@myheritage.com).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
