Had an issue with the subscription and not being correct, messaged My Heritage and had a call back from an account manager who was very knowledgeable and resolved the problem with ease. More than happy to have the result sorted very fast
I've been a acustomer for many years. Then for some reason, I can't access my account! NOW, it appears to have vanished altogether. It took me many years to gather ******* names, and now, all gone... why?
If you have it stored somewhere, i'd like it back thanks.
Bob
Its amazing tool to finding family i miss few functions - for example to show persons (family) from one city

MyHeritage made the process of family tree creation, easy and very straight forward. All the tools are collected in one place, including research, drawing of the tree, DNA, and easy connections to other trees to make the tree more complete.
I have used MyHeritage for several years and every time I log in, I always find more interesting that I have to try or see what it is all about. This is my main program which is connected with the MyHeritage site where I can verify the information. I have some lots of consistencies but I will keep on them to make sure that the information is up to date. The only thing that I would like to change is to have the pricing in Canadian dollars which will give more funds to be able continue my research.
I was very impressed how quick it was to sign up for you full package and how quick l was able to access it l found it very good and find it very hard to put down as now l can access all the facilities that are available so thank you
I had two sets of payments taken from my account for what I thought was for the same purchase. After consulting with My heritage I was advised that otherwise however as was honest about my concern and lack of understanding about the different services which My heritage offered and cost for each I was refunded the second payment. My heritage was able to positively analyse the situation in line with my circumstances and they offered me further consultation with another staff to explore my interest in My heritage and what I needed. I was pleased with the result of the general enquiry.
My partner and myself research our family trees - being New Zealanders, our origins are from Europe & Britain and it is is good to know exactly where you come from - you could say a better understanding of oneself for instance
Very good additions to my Family Tree intersting branches which I did not know about. Some difficult to verify but never the less interesting. Would be more so when Ifind a way to verify connections in Austrailia and Canada. An austrailian link has proved successful and opened up some interesting branches
With both the Smart Matches and the Newspaper Matches, I find lots of information - to verify what I already have, to add missing pieces of information, and to point me in new directions to possibly add information. Great site.
It is more than very interresting to learn about your past and find living far relatives that you had no knowledge about. Even more interresting to see photograps of old relatives and that way connect own family pictures to correct names.
I love how user-friendly MyHeritage is — I've already added over 250 people to my tree! I'm really grateful for their tool and their customer support has been absolutely awesome.
Ron looked up my records and charged me correctly.
Man before said he'd straightened things out but I was charged full 299. Rate instead of 120. All he wanted to do was sell.me a new add-on product.
As I no longer have any close relatives to help my search, this opened up a lot of info for me. I really appreciate it. It's exciting to go into my email to find an incoming message from "My Heritage".
My knowledge of DNA has been limited to reading about the foresic work I have read about or heard in the news. My father was educated in the UK in the 1920-30s and had spent a large part of his young life here and I knew he fell in love with an English woman but was not allowed to marry, firstly I wanted to know if I had any siblings, and secondly as my children who are born in England I wanted them to know our lineage and to my grand children, But you always worry as to what you will find! And how to go about it.
MY Heritage I found are approachable and efficient. Te whole process was simple and you actually get response from humans not robots!
When searching someone and you put in a "Place" or "Location" such as "Newfoundland" i find ithe system shows/displays many files for other places in the world prior to showing related files for Newfoundland or the location requested
MyHeritage is great for genealogical research in Poland It seems that Polish people post their info on MyHeritage more than any other site. I especially like the Smart Matches from other researchers who have found someone in common. I took every name is my tree and searched MyHeritage records, and I found more generations. Researchers regularly communicate with me, sometimes daily. It's an exception to not fine a match. Keep on working, MyHeritage!
Smart matches are critical to my research but dangerous. I would like to see vital stats provided but understand the complexity or impossibility of doing that
I have been using the site for a few years now, Started of just doing the close family, on and off. But with the help of technolgly and My heritage it is getting easier to use and find the family. Love the smart matches that i get every week, Sometimes it helps get past a block, Price wise i find that My Heritage is cheaper than other site, Would Highly recommend My Heritage
Generally good. A lot of powerfull tools sometimes it's hard to find them. I had a hard time writing some additional information about him. I thought I was writing it in the right place. I was one window about 4 words long, I type a small paragraph but only see4 w0rds at a time,
I was writing about how my dad was born Joe Conner (Joe Collin Conner? When he and my mom came to California They stopped using the name Conner and used the name "Collin. My brother and I are the first people in the family named: Collin" in the family. I was trying to pass that information on to people. Where did it go?
Thank You.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team (support@myheritage.com).
Answer: If you are looking to get as many connections to your tree that you can, use My Heritage. If you want flexibility in who is added to your tree, use Ancestry.
Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
MyHeritage is generally well-regarded for its user-friendly platform and extensive database, which many customers find invaluable for tracing their ancestry and connecting with relatives. Users appreciate the regular updates and the powerful search capabilities that facilitate discoveries. However, concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to billing issues and the difficulty of reaching support. Some users have reported feeling overwhelmed by the volume of information and have encountered challenges in verifying data. Overall, while the service is praised for its features, improvements in customer support and communication are necessary to enhance user satisfaction.
