Finding all kinds of information I did not know, or I heard second or third hand, about my extended family that I could confirm, clarify or dis-spell. Sometimes way to much information that takes a while to wade through, but happy that I could.
In more than fifty years of genealogical research into my family's and my husband's family's history, I have never found a superior organiser of material than My Heritage. It creates trees and profiles so efficiently that I can see family links at a glance. But My Heritage is not only an excellent organiser, it is also a brilliant finder of genealogical material. It compares my family tree with those of other people to find 'smart matches' which can include an amazing amount of new biographical data. These 'smart matches' can also provide such things as newspaper items, photos, or grave sites, all of which enrich the biographies of my family members. With the wonderful facilities offered by My Heritage my family tree has expanded enormously — far beyond my capacity to manage it unaided. And I know that, with the power of My Heritage, it will continue to grow, and I will continue to make exciting discoveries about my and my husband's ancestors.
Love the notices of the family member profiles and all the members information, the siblings and possible other members of the family. Have several families that I am researching and these notices are very nice to receive.
There is so much information on MyHeritage that I find myself using the site every day. Even on days that I am taking a break I get emails from MyHeritage about matches that expand my family tree and lead me to new relatives. It is like MyHeritage is searching for me.

It is more than very interresting to learn about your past and find living far relatives that you had no knowledge about. Even more interresting to see photograps of old relatives and that way connect own family pictures to correct names.
I have been using the site for a few years now, Started of just doing the close family, on and off. But with the help of technolgly and My heritage it is getting easier to use and find the family. I've written before to indicate the site seems good but difficult to navigate and understand the various „technical" terms unless you are an expert in that area……
Overall a very good experience. Great features and ease of use. Better than other genealogy sites. Love DNA features. However, research records for certain countries are very limited (Ex: Spain, France)
The service is very interesting, and I want to say a big thank you for giving me 30 extra days after my subscription had expired. I hadn't even started exploring the features of MyHeritage in a meaningful way, so this gesture is truly appreciated. However, what I really find missing is the ability to analyze and compare the DNA matches of people other than myself — for example, to perform triangulation on their matches.
Another feature I wish existed is an automated way to search for a common ancestor among people I match with. Manually going through the entire family tree to spot people with the same name and birth year is extremely difficult and time-consuming.
It would be great to have AI integrated in the service, since I found it very helpful to use Gemini and ChatGPT. I'm making screenshots and add it to chat to analize trees and DNA triangulated areas.
The MyHeritage Support Team helped me one more time to evaluate my question if more than one persons can be deleted in FTB or in the Online Database@ a time. Jonathan showed me a different way to reach the aim in a very friendly and competent manner. Thanks again and Regards from Germany.
At first I only had a tiny branch and now it's grown into a forest of very diverse sections of my ancestors. Once you begin it can be tiring, but soon becomes so fascinating you just have to squeeze another extra hour. Your history becomes linked and with careful investigation the marvel of research is pure delight especially when you discover subjects that are emotional, powerful, unknown and sometimes sad. I am so glad I decided to fire up my retirement.

I have only just began my geneology. MyHeritage site and my DNA results I'm back 7 generations in under 6 months. From what I read that's pretty amazing progress.
It has been a great program with competitive pricing. I have been with My Heratige for over 7 years and it improves constantly. New features that gives more information, let's you repair photos and keeps things organized with a little effort from the user. The consistency feature is extremely helpful in bringing your attention to dates, names, grammar and spelling.
I think it's a test everyone should take and see that we are not just from one nation and it was really nice to email with someone that we didn't now we were relatives just moments ago.
I had so much fun along my husband's DNA journey that I opted for the complete package. AI videos are a great addition and I learned everything plus more that was know within our family circles. Having tombston location markers makes it great for a future bucket list visit.
My Heritage never stops giving, the discoveries are amazing, and if you truly value who you are, you can only gain knowledge that only you will ever know and your ancestors would have loved to have known, the best thing today my Heritage is brilliant, don`t hesitate just do it and me the person you want to be.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
