We booked tickets and received confirmation of our flight and noticed that the return flight was the wrong time. Called within the first 60 minutes of booking. First agent said that he could change time but would have to charge $60 per ticket as the cost of the flight had gone up. I told him the rate still showed as the same on the website and he said that the website did not have up to date fares. Hmmm... anyway, he told me to call back on the same number and ask for customer service who could make the change without charge. I did that and was told by the person answering that they only had two people working in customer service and asked me to call back in ten minutes. I called back and got another rep who told me that they could not change my tickets without charging me $70 as the cost of the flight had changed. He said that this was the total cost to change both tickets. My brother was also on the phone with a different agent who told him it would cost him $60 per ticket to change the ticket. Hmmm... I advised the agent to just cancel the reservation as we made it just over an hour ago at that point and they have a 24 hour cancellation period. He said he could cancel without fee from them but that the airline would not refund the fee. I told him that airlines have a 24 hour cancellation policy too so that I should not be charged. He said that our tickets were non-refundable. I told him I understood that but that was after the 24 hour period. He continued to argue with me and insist that I would only get a credit with American Airlines and not a refund. I told him to cancel the reservation, I called my credit card company immediately and explained what happened and they said that no charge had come through yet and that they would flag the card and refuse the charge if it came through. We rebooked using Priceline with NO PROBLEMS!

If I could give a negative number I would! My reservations that were booked 3 months ago were voided by MyFlightSearch and when we contacted them they said it would cost more money to get tickets. We are supposed to fly out tomorrow and they are wanting to charge more money. When I asked for a supervisor they hung up on me. I have attempted to contact them 3 times and on hold for the 4th time all for over an hour and half. Upon further research...

In February of 2019 BBB noticed a pattern of complaints from consumers alleging Flight Search, Inc refused to issue refunds for errors made by the business, or issue promised refunds. Consumers also alleged the business made changes to reservations without notice to the consumer, made errors concerning the dates or cities of travel and charged fess not disclosed to the consumers. Consumers further allege the business claimed be an airline or a travel site that they are not.
BBB communicated our concerns to the business in February of 2019. Although the business indicted, they would review the matter and provide a response, to date the business has not provided BBB with the steps they will be taking to alleviate the pattern of complaints. As of April 2019, BBB continues to receive the same type complaints regarding the business.
Revocation:
On 12/05/2019 this company's accreditation in BBB was revoked by BBB's Board of Directors due to failure to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints on file with the BBB and unresolved complaint(s).

THEY R VERY RUDE AND WILL HANGUP ON YOU AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL THEN WILL LIE AND SAY THAT YOUR AIRLUNE FLIGHT HAS BEEN CANCELED MINUTES AND SECONDS AFTER IT HAS BEEN BOOKED WITH CONFIRMATION AND FLIGHT IS GIVEN. WHEN YOU CALLTHE AIRLINE THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ORINFORMATION OF YOUR FLIGHT BEING EVER BOOKED. ITS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RIPOFFS. Answer: I would just call immediately after booking and every day thereafter since apparently them giving you a confirmation number and charging your credit card doesn't guarantee your ticket as in my case.
Answer: This 3rd party site is a total scam. They take payment send flight details but they never send your payment to the airlines. They keep it for themselves! So when you arrive for your flight you're not on it. Book direct to save yourself the hassle and the money that you'll never get back
