I started a free trial but the one outbound fax that I tried to send was never received by the recipient. I forgot to cancel until after they made the monthly charge. When I called to cancel they refused to refund the charge. I would definitely not recommend this company.
As an update to my review, the company did respond and refunded the monthly charge so I was ultimately happy with the resolution. It is still disappointing that their response was only because of a negative review but they did make it right in the end.
This company is a scam, do not hand over your financial information. I cancelled 7 days before the end of the trial, yet I was charged for a full month regardless. They refused to issue a refund even though I requested one immediately. The require either a live chat (which fails to load 8 times our of 10) or a phone call to cancel, so there is no paper trail or acknowledgement of the cancellation request. User beware, this is a scam, they will keep charging you even if you try to cancel, stay well away from them.
I signed up for the 10 day free trial. I tried to send a fax several times and it never worked. So I cancelled the sevice just a couple hours later. After I cancelled it, there were three $10 charges on my credit card. I called them and was told the charges would be removed. They were never removed. This is fraud.

I called the company to dispute the charges and they agreed to give me a credit of $20, even giving me a confirmation number. After two weeks, no credit appeared. I called MyFax again to inquire and was told that the credit had been "denied by Finance". They insisted I used the service beyond the trial period before canceling. Do not give this company your credit card number!

I tried for months to cancel this service, but was unable to due to a lack of log in credentials. They make it very difficult to cancel. Eventhough I emailed the billing email provided on the website, my email request for a cancellation was ignored. They say you must log into the website to cancel, but when I finally was able to log in and selected the "cancel my subscription" a pop up said I could not do so without first speaking to a representative. Scumbags!

The free trial takes your credit card number and starts charging you each month. You will not be able to cancel the service. The cancel account link on the website does not work, nor does the automated chat allow you to get to talk to anyone. In the end, you have to contact your bank to stop payments to them.

This company is a fraud. Complete fraud- They will suck you in on a free test program and not release your credit card. Once you give your credit card, that's it, your credit card will continue to be charged. It will be charged until you end up cancelling your credit card. You will end up paying the monthly charges for years. I have requested cancellation and they refuse to cancel the account for more than 2 years. They make it impossible to cancel your account. Every month they keep charging me $10 per month. Despite my repeated attempts they refuse to cancel. I have no other option but to cancel my credit card so they can stop charging me. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

Whilst the fax service was OK, they make it almost impossible to cancel online. They claim you can do it via the myfax dashboard - it's a total lie (at least in the UK) - it flat out refuses when you click the link and refer you to online chat. I then tried that, but they won't accept a valid international telephone number, and the chat won't progress. I then tried emailing their billing email... they refer you back to their dashboard! It's so frustrating! I can't recommend them at all!

Signed up a day ago and needed to fax some important docs from West Oz to the USA cos we are stuck due to Covid travel restrictions over here. Got an email to say the first fax went thru with one issue and contacted support. Talked to Lia who went thru the transaction, verified the result and all docs have landed in the USA. They make it entirely misleading and difficult to cancel your account. Provide so many barriers to make this simple procedure, but are perfectly happy to take your money regardless if service is rendered or not. Clearly looking to gouge.
Literally the worst. Trying to cancel is an endless loop. You email them with all pertinent info, they come back and say log in to cancel. So you log into the cancel. Click the cancelation button and it says email us to cancel we cannot cancel on account page. Then you go to chat. It's a robot who tells you to cancel through email or the account. I finally have a cancelation number. But I'm waiting for my credit card to be charged again and go to my bank with the cancelation number to block them

Started the free trial. Unable to send any faxes, after the first try i'm even unable to access the "view faxes" page because it gives this error: "Your inbox is currently unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes. If you continue to experience issues please contact Customer Support."
Tried to cancel the free trial account by going into account details and then billing, and of course i'm unable to do that for some unspecified reason and it requires me to talk with a "rapresentative", which coincidentally is also unavailable at all times and it's just a loop that leads nowhere. BEWARE! This is no longer a viable fax company, please update this article to a zero star! I signed up years ago and all was great. This last few months of trying to send faxes for my business was a nightmare. Faxes taking up to an hour to send notification of failure is not acceptable. They have removed the outbox and there is no status provided once you hit send. Each time I've used the service I had to call customer service since nothing worked. I just cancelled last night and the fax that took two hour hours to get a failed transmission message from Myfax was sent with no issues with the new fax company I signed up for! When I called to cancel they told me they do not offer refunds... I only asked for the current month -$10 since I realized this service is not working. She even tried to offer me a free month... of a service that does not work and to sell me additional services after hearing my concerns with the quality of their product! NO! Do not waste your money and time on this service.

My free trial experience was good. THEN I subscribed. They had only ONE critical fax to do (6 weeks after the first successful fax out). I faxed a critical document - medical/legal. It took 2 days AFTER I got a successful confirmation of submission - before it was delivered to the doctor's office. The doc took 4 days to process the attestation. Then faxed it back to me (I have 10 days to get that "proof" uploaded). I have NEVER received it (same number back). Same number the doc office used during my free trial. "My" fax number. Fortunately the doc's office is nice and I am PAYING also for it to be sent to the UPS office. Don't fall for the convenience - it's not. I should have used the direct method first. The MyFax people added $20 to my costs and almost cost me my paycheck. Thanks, folks.

I tried to cancel my account last year. Even getting on the phone with a customer rep was difficult. I thought I was finally done but I discover that I am still getting charged MONTHS after I had supposedly cancelled my account. I tried reaching out again but their support line is always busy. I subscribe a month for $10. I send 23 pages got charge $30 for 1 day. And representative said I'm over the limit with the $30 charge for 1 day. Website show you can send 100 pages a month for $10. This company is worse than a thief. Don't even think of trying it.

I got the seven-day free trial of myFax. The two faxes I sent went through fine.
When I went to cancel my trial it gave me a "General System Error" on the tab where they say you can cancel it. I then emailed them about canceling and got an automated email saying to click on the tab I was telling them didn't work (I sent a screenshot as well).
I then tried the chat feature to cancel. Twice a representative answered the chat and both times they said nothing else after their initial hello and the chat timed out and hung up on me (I saved both transcripts). I then gave up and called myFax directly. I got a very nice customer service representative that says he has put in a cancel order for the day before my free trial renews. We will see. If they charge my credit card after I have a reference cancellation number I'm going to become a nightmare "Karen".
If there is no update to this review after 4-19-21 hen the cancellation went through with no problems. If not I will be back to post an update and downgrade the star ranking to a 1 for the time I've had to spend on this.
