I have never written a review of a company anymore - I think that probably sums up this shopping experience. I ordered 5 things on Black Friday. Shipping was $5 to US and Canada, so as a Canadian I was super excited. After I ordered, my sister told me to call and change the address to our US mailbox because Misguided charges crazy duties post-delivery (she paid $20 in duties for a $19 dress!) Within 5 minutes of placing the order, I opened chat and asked the address to be changed. They said they would request it, but it wasn't guaranteed. I asked when I would know and how I would know, because if it was denied I would have cancelled and spent my money on other black friday sales. They said they wouldn't know. 3 days later, I messaged again, not having heard ANYTHING about the order. I asked if my address had been changed, they said it hadn't. Asked to have it changed again. Then, this morning, I got an email saying some of my items were being returned to me. I didn't know which, so I opened the dreaded chat once more. They told me ALL of my items were out of stock. I was so disappointed. As a student, this was my one splurge all year. Now, I have no clothes and have missed all the good Black Friday sales. Would not recommend ANYONE shops here, especially around big sale days. SO unhappy with my service.
Absolutely asinine company - do not bother placing an order with this company. Without getting long winded:
1. My order was placed (a sale item) as of November 11th
2.It is now November 26th, and I have yet to receive a tracking number
3. I was told by the chat rep "Tia" that my order was actually placed as of November 17th and as a result they cannot provide me with a tracking number as it could take up to 11 business days for that number to be processed
4.Ive asked to cancel this transaction. I was told that they cannot do so. I asked why "Tia" could not provide me with a sufficient answer
5 Instead she wanted me to fill out a form with information that I've already relayed to her (order #, item # etc) - this is simply a technique to buy more time as it became clear to me they don't know what theyre doing
6. She then claims that I would need to send the coat back in order to get my refund - a coat i don't physically have in possession lol
7. I called her out on her obvious lies. No apologies were issued, no real sense of accountability. She then said she will end the conversation because I had no additional questions
Save yourself the grief and DO NOT place your order with Misguided. There was no true resolution, just a bunch of time wasting as its clear that they don't know what they're doing.
I ordered 5 items from them. Only recieved 4 but said 5 was sent out. I called them up and spoke to a representative. This person was so rude. No apology at all. This person told me that I would have to create a claim, fill out the loss item form and send it back then they will see what they can do. So its my fault for not receiving what I bought... not their? When I asked her for a phone number where I could call and talk to someone, she said they dont have any phone number. They make it so ridiculously hard and inconvenient for their customers and not try to resolve any issue at all. They just hope with all the inconveniences they created, you just give up and suck up ur loss. If you want to order anything from them, do it at your own risks. They do not care whether you receive your items or not is none of their business.
I have ordered my package over a month ago and it still hasnt come in. I hqve notified missguided and theur response was hold tight it will come soon... i dont think thats cute after i have spent 300 dollars for a complete scam

When i received a letter with confirmation of my order I realised that due error on the Web site It was wrong name
(my name/ not the name of my friend - we do live in different city and it's not possible to take an order under my name)
I contacted CS directly and they said its not possible to change the adress
What?
I asked to change the name again I explained that I made an order only 10 min ago

After 1 week of discussion
They offer me to solve this issy by myself by calling to the post and speak to them directly
1 week - no solution
No dress for the bday
But Missguided charged me
CS didnt help at all
I will never order anything on Missguided again

My order never came in full, they claimed one of the items was out of stock. I checked and it was in stock a few weeks after I placed my order, so they said they will ship the missing item. Then next day I get an email saying that it is out of stock. I think they just thought the shipping cost would be a waste for one item that they missed and not worth the hassle. They have terrible service and don't know how to handle their customers and site properly. One word: TERRIBLE!
They took my money, but It's been nearly a month and still not even an email to say the order has been shipped. Based on these other reviews, I'm dreading asking for a refund.
I have seen the evolution of this website go from extremely cheap to super trendy and more expensive(but for the better I suppose). They have great clothing, but the site is super glitchy and I sometimes can't even order because my shopping bag always empties out. The photos never load. I just don't have patience. I was also charged duty after surpassing $200 they wouldn't pay and then a fine for allowing it to become over due. Beware.
I LOVE misguided. Any time I need a dress this is the first site I shop. The quality of the dresses have been impeccable. I have never had a bad experience here.
Never received my order, after many contact to the customer service team via chat and twitter I still have no refund or order. The first rep told me the order is lost and that I can have a refund or reorder. I opted for reorder. Well days later no confirmation or the re order. Another rep told me to wait 48 hrs just wanted to get rid of me. On twitter I was told that a re order will be issued and 2 hrs later that my parcel is stuck at custom. Needless to say this has been the worst and most annoying experience ever
I ordered something months ago and never received it. Filed a disclaimer and was promised a refund by two different reps but never received one. Spoke with third rep and they said the refund was cancelled because it was showing that I received the order. I used to support them regularly but no more. I recommend ordering from ASOS if you want cute/trendy clothing.
The issue with the student discounts needs to be fixed. The company advertised 40% off with a student discount code PLUS free standard shipping. When I went to check out it still charged me the shipping fee. So frustrating. I chatted with them and they said to go through with the transaction as is and then they would refund me the $5. No. I would rather not do that. Why don't they just fix the issue with the website/checkout process instead? It's probably because they would rather let people fall into the trap and pay the extra shipping fee unless you're smart enough to message them. Not cool.
Just wanted to give a warning to my fellow Canadian sistas out there... DO NOT BUY from Missguided unless you are willing to pay an arm and a leg for their so called "custom/duty fee". Upon receiving an email from Skynet, I was charged $41.58 on a $130 order. What kind of duty tax is 32% of your total order?!
My girlfriends and I used to be such loyal customers here as we really did like their clothes, shopping on their website every 2-3 months. But when they started using Skynet as their shipping courier. GIRL BYE
Until Missguided wakes up and realizes this problem... we sure as hell won't be back when there are so many other options out there.
I use to be a regular supporter of missguided when they built duties into the price you were paying but now that they switched over to skynet the charges are the same sometimes more then the clothes I purchased. It is no longer worth it to me when I can purchase from the states pay Zero duties the only thing I pay now is the conversion of dollar. Missguided is no longer something I need when I can get it cheaper from Fashion Nova or Lulu's. Canadian girls don't bother checking them out the duties make it so not worth it. Until Missguided wakes up and changes this they will no longer get my money or support
I ordered this pink sequined oversized dress for homecoming. Fast delivery. I tried it on and there was all sorts of fabric missing sequins. Mind you I was very very gently with this material. Plus slight movement makes sequins fall off. Definitely not worth spending over 80$ on. Will not be wearing!
Placed express order on a Sunday and was told express shipping takes 2-3 business days. Today is the following Friday and I have yet to receive my package. It was held at customs and I was notified by email however was not notified that this would be held until payment was received. I was also not notified that I would be notified via email of customs charges (seems a little strange to me - normally you pay when the parcel arrives for any outstanding charges). I paid $180 for my order and an extra $11 for express shipping and was charged $55 in duty charges. Customer service at Skynet was very unprofessional and not helpful in ensuring my package was released for shipping once payment was received. I paid duty yesterday and package has still yet to be released from customs. Very disappointed as I purchased the items for a wedding this weekend that I now had to go and purchase something else to wear. Will not be ordering again from a company that utilizes such poor courier companies.
I ordered from Missguided after I saw them advertise on Instagram. However, after I ordered I read reviews and was immediately concerned that I had made a mistake in ordering. Well, I'm so glad I didn't read reviews before ordering because everything came out awesome. I ordered two pairs of shoes (sneakers and sandals) - they fit perfect and are so cute! I ordered three dresses - good material and fit exactly how I thought they would. I ordered a black body suit - which again, fit perfect. I am based in Canada and they ship from UK - I was not charged shipping fees, only duties ($36) which I didn't find that bad since the entire order itself was discounted 50% for promotion and the shipment arrived super quickly! I would recommend this site to anyone & we certainly purchase again!
I had an absolute terrible experience with this company. Sent the wrong size and now to get the correct size I have to pay full price when the original purchase was 1/2 off. The only way to contact anyone is through their "chat" service, which is a JOKE. Roxanne was my representative and she was ZERO help and was so rude. She just talked in circles the whole time. I will never order from here again. Such a ripoff. There needs to be some serious changes, all negative reviews. Wish I listened to everyone complaining about what a crappy company this was. Would've saved a lot of money and time. Never again will I order from them. Save your money everyone
I have had a great experience with missguided... and I have a feeling most of the people on here just like to complain. I don't typically write reviews, but all of my clothes came in true to size, they had great customer service when I thought an item came in wrong, and the shipping was so fast. I will definitely continue shopping here!
Missguided has been my favorite online store for yearsss now, but lately I feel as if I am not receiving the same quality in their merchandise. I ordered $300 worth of clothing, made sure everything was exactly my size etc. well today I received my package and as always I was very excited but to my surprise some clothing came dirty. I ordered a pair of white pants and once I took them out of the bag I noticed a big black stain on the butt are, I had never seen such thing. Later I began trying the clothes on. Nothing was true to size... NOTHINGGGGG. The pants were extremely long EXTREMELY long. Pointing out that I am a 5'6 women I never have that issue. Out of 10 items about 2 of them actually fit what a disappointment really. I can honestly say they have lost a very loyal client never again...
