I bought a michael kors handbag in the michael kors shop in venice this july 2017 while cruising around the med i used the bag when travellung home and it scratched with normal use i used it again when i came home and the leather marked again i contacted michael kors and they asked me to email them photos of the bag receipst etc i received an email from them telling me i had caused the external damage to the bag myself i have many michael kors bags but the gold pebble bag marks if it touches anything it is not fit for normal use they have told me there is nothing they can do the bag was only 5 weeks old when i contacted them i will not be accepting their response and will be taking this compliant further i cant believe how poor michael kors customer service is the bag is one of ur new autumn range and therefore has not received any customer reviews yet? The material used to make this handbag is def faulty prepare urselves for further compliants hopefully you will deal with these in a more professional helpful manner?

Horrible company that does not live up to their brand. I purchased two coats (and many other high dollar items over the years) in December of 2018. The first time I wore one of the coats the pocket zipper got stuck. I was able to get it undone and the third time I wore it it got stuck again. The same pocket. I haven't been able to get it unstuck. I called and they were very friendly and said that it would be taken care of and that I just need to submit a claim with pictures and my receipt. I did so and they sent me an email back a couple of weeks later stating that the stuck zipper is not a manufacturer defect. I called again, quite confused, since the Michael Kors rep had already told me it would be taken care of (i. E. replaced or fixed). This second person that I spoke to was also very friendly and understanding and said that it should be taken care of and they didn't understand why the warranty people responded that way. They reopened the ticket and said that it should get taken care of in about a week. Less than 2 days later, I receive the exact same denial email from the warranty/claims people saying that the coat had no manufacturer defect. Out of 2 coats (4 pocket zippers and two front zippers), only one zipper has gotten stuck twice. How is that not a manufacturer defect? It seems as if any sane individual with common sense would see that zipping a zipper is not rocket science, and not many people get it wrong. Horrible horrible company. I will never buy anything from them again. Overpriced for such cheap value. They do not stick up for their products or their brand. When I started looking online and saw BBB's F rating, it made all the sense in the world.
I visited the store today, and I honestly don't think that I will be coming back. I drove for 50 minutes, and found myself with the most unpleasant customer service. Please management, if you are selling excellent quality products at high prices. Take the time to train your employees at providing quality service. If I am purchasing 2 large handbags, why would your rep ask me if she can put both of them in 1 shopping bag? If I ask one of your employees a basic question, I should get an answer or they should atleast ask a manager. I asked a basic question and the answer was specifically " I don't know ". The rep didn't have a name tag on her and it made it diffidifficult for me address her. Unprofessional. And lastly, the rep took out all the paper that crumpled inside the habdbags to make it look full before purchase. I found that be strange and unessesary. Believe me, if I couldn't afford the purse, I wouldn't be visiting your store. I usually don't leave reviews because I understand that sometimes, employees have protocols and policies and procedures, that need to be followed. However in this case, I was furious by the quality of the service that I received.

I usually like to give people the benefit of the doubt and base reviews on my own experience so when I saw some of the complaints against Micheal Kors I decided to give them a shot anyways... Saying that was a mistake was an understatement! I ordered a total of 4 purses and 1 wallet online. The first backpack purse I ordered although new, had 2 very noticeable scratches on the front. I really wanted this purse so although I sent it back, I purchased it from my local store the very next day. I made this purchase on 5/21 and still have not received a refund. The other purse was picked up in the store as well so I was able to see it before I actually took it. Today I just received a purse and wallet I purchased in two separate orders on different days and both of them came damaged and USED. The purse (which is usually a $358 dollar purse) came wrapped in only the dust bag. The tag was cut off and placed in the purse. The purse looked used and was deflating and creasing due to being packaged with no filling. The clasp that closes the purse was scratched and dirty. The wallet came in the same condition wrapped only in a single piece of tissue paper. The material was warped around the MK logo on the front of the wallet and it looks as if it got wet at some point. It is unacceptable for a company, any company, to send items in this condition. But especially a company thats supposed to have higher quality items? I wouldn't expect that from Walmart! Now I have to wait weeks to receive a refund for two items that never should have been sent in that condition to begin with. This is beyond poor service or usual problems you encounter with most businesses occasionally and borders on actual fraud! Please save yourself the trouble and stay away. Coach has similar prices and you would NEVER encounter incidents like this. Once could possibly be an oversight made by a negligent employee but two separate orders made 2 days apart? That should tell you all you need to know about what kind of company this is.

I'm having the most horrendous & painfully stressful experience with Michael Kors, they have taken my money after I've returned an item & 3 weeks later & after countless phone calls to customer service & escalating my case, I'm still without my money, even though they are insistent they have processed the refund, which my bank (Nationwide) have confirmed they absolutely have not processed the refund.
My bank have advised that what MK have done is fraudulent, so they are investigating MK as we speak, & I've also reported MK to the Financial Ombudsman.
The amount of time I've spent on the phone trying to get my money back is unreal, MK customer services are absolutely appalling, they are like robots & they just won't listen, one agent even laughed at me down the phone when I got tearful.
This entire situation has reduced me to tears several times so far, I'm 6 moths pregnant & it's been an absolute nightmare
I originally placed my order in the Sheffield MK store, and I was promised a seamless & efficient experience should I need to return my order after spending almost £300 in one transaction… how very silly of me to believe them, as this has been the absolute worst experience & it's still ongoing as we speak.
To say I'm stressed is an understatement, I'm just praying my bank will help me as I have no other option as MK just won't help me one bit & they have stolen my money, I'm heartbroken
I've spent thousands with MK over the years, I've been the most loyal customer, spending a huge amount with them, but I can honestly say I'll never shop with them ever again, I'll be forever traumatised by this unbelievably stressful & upsetting experience

I had to email customer service about a pair of sandals I bought for my wedding. First email I sent I didn't even get a response (told it takes 24 hours to respond so I waited one week) wrote a second email after waiting one week. I ended up repeating myself in 8 emails and felt like no one was listening to me. I continued to ask someone call me about this experience I received in customer service and was told to call in myself but was only giving an hour during the day to call in because the "supervisor was very busy".
Reason I was trying to contact the company was because I bought a pair of sandals for my wedding and these were bought 10 months prior to my wedding. Leaving my ceremony they snapped on me and broke! I was shoesleas for the rest of my wedding. Not once did the company ever apologize for this rare situation but also said I wasn't entitled to a credit, repair or exchange because it was passed their store policy! I even sent pictures in of these brand new looking shoes and they still wouldn't do anything for me. I was so disappointed in the customer service, lack of caring on my special day and zero respect of them trying to make this up to me. I understand sometimes they make a defeat product but they should stand behind their products and especially based on a situation like this one.
I have bought a lot of their products and because of this situation I will no longer give them my money!

When you think of MK it's not that expensive, but for average ppl it is somewhat luxury and a name! Their website is ok, but customer service and returns are a hassel! I placed an order when they had the sale going on before the fall arrivals! Order wasn't that big but with bags i ordered leather cleaner, which leaked all over upon arrival. When called the phone rang for a good minute, and than answering service started on to hold and you will be assisted, that was on for a good 10 mins, and I after the rep came on, I think she was on drugs, the way she talked, I had to make her repeat everything she said since I couldn't hear her, and that she wasn't making any sense. When Asked how long will it take to get a credit before I place another order for a stuipd leather cleaner, she said 3-4 weeks, I said is there a faster way? She said I don't know, I said can I go in store and get it changed, NO I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT THEY ARE A SEPERATE BUSINESS. And every store has their own policy. WTF?! How am i suppose to know about that when buying from MK. Apprently MK company is as superficial as MK himself! ONE MORE THING! IF you have canadian friends place an order on CANADA site, since with currency exchange at 30% now, it's an extra discount! Because Canadian site is charging $398 CAD as USD $398 for the same item. After several times of LENGTHY phone conversations and being disconnected 3 times, I REGRET EVER ordering!
Horrible service! Still cannot return my item seven days later, and it was their error. I bought a puse online for $125. When it arrived last Sat, I could immediately tell it was too large. I was just going to bring it to my local Michael Kors store in Northbrook or drop it at the post office to return it. However, there was no receipt or packing label in the box, no paperwork of any kind. I called and emailed that Sat and was told through both channels that I would be emailed a shipping label in two business days. Thursday, I still hadn't received it. I called again and was told I would be emailed a shipping label in two days. (What is this with two days to send an email? What kind of old computers do they have? Especailly when it was their error that there was no paperwork in the box.) I asked what would happen as we are running into another weekend. She assured me it wouldn't be a problem. Today, Saturday, I still haven't received it. I called and even after talking to a supervisor Esha, I was told nothing can be done on the weekend. I asked how can that be for an expensive product, especially when it was their error, and they had five non-weekend days to send me the stupid label or receipt. Esha said there is nothing she can do and she was the supervisor. So she is not really a supervisor, just somone else who can get on the phone. She has no power, no ability to get on a computer and email me my receipt or shipping label. I even had set up an account with my order. I can go online and see my order, but no way for me to print a receipt. How archaic! And she had no sympathy for my problem. You can get better service buying a purse at Walmart.
