Worst Customer Service EVER

I bought a sweater that came used with the tags safety pinned on. Customer service is rude and unhelpful at best. Online shopping does not get any worse than Michael Kors.com

Watch warranty none existent

Michael kors watchs are made by fossil. Watch was $225 band broke within 5 months.
But their 2 yr warranty only covers movement. Total overpriced garbage from china.
Buyer beware.

Haven't received my bag back since one year

Dear Michael Kors Customer Service Team,

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the non-cooperative service I received when I purchased a brand new bag from Michael Kors. To my surprise, the zip was broken, and as the bag was in warranty, I went to the store to solve this issue. However, I was bluntly refused any assistance and was told to ship my bag to the customer care service. They provided me with an address for shipping, and the very next day, I shipped my bag along with the receipt.

It has been a year now, and I have constantly tried to contact Michael Kors for an update on my bag's status. Regrettably, I have received no response from the company, and the only reply I received was asking for the details of my complaint, the time, and date of my visit to the store. I even visited the store with my complaint, but it was all in vain.

I feel extremely disappointed by the service I received from Michael Kors. It is unacceptable for a big company like Michael Kors to treat their customers this way. I have not received any bag or compensation from Michael Kors till now, and it is a clear indication that the company does not value its customers.

I hope that Michael Kors will take note of this review and take appropriate steps to improve their service. I would like to request that the company takes necessary actions to resolve my complaint and compensate me for the inconvenience caused.

My girlfriend's birthday was last month, and as we were apart, so I decided to buy her a gift card on the Michael Kors website, as she loves the brand. Biggest mistake ever.

The gift card was never delivered, and after continuously asking my gf to check her mail, the surprise was ruined and her birthday passed with no gift card.

After numerous emails back and forth, and long delays (they asnwered my emails after 2-3 days each time) she got the email with the gift card. However, when she tried to order she was told she needed a code and pin to use the card, and when she called the company she got he same horrible service and was told that perhaps I hadn't paid.

Then to top things off, I was told that the problem was because I had bought the card without making an account, so I should make one before buying next time. Why do they have the option to buy that way if it doesn't work?

This is still ongoing and now I only want my money back and to never shop from this horrible company again.

There are many better fashion brands out there, with better quality and customer service. You should stay away from Michael Kors

Gross! Got a package that was probably stored. Orderd a $250 bag and it came in a big cardboard box which contained spiders and small black bugs. So unpleased.

Dissatisfied Customer

I have been buying shoes and purses from Michael Kors for about five years now. I pay over 150 for shoes and boots. The product is very appealing but the quality is so not worth what you are paying. Every time I buy shoes or boots I can only wear them maybe five or six times before one of the heels are gone. I called customer service the last time about a week ago and was told I had 30 days to return this when this happens. That was the first time I've heard that. I love the way your shoes and boots look but the quality sucks and I have lost so much money on your bad product. I am a military spouse and I will warn the military wives how not to waste there money on a company that does not stand behind there product. I have ever shoe and boots I have bought from Michael Kors and can prove what I am saying maybe I should put it on social media to show people how over priced your product is and how you all do not stand behind your product. I am very disappointed I have lots of shoes, boots, and purses but no more SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY... Janice in FT Lewis WA.

Pocket book

They are so nasty, I bought a pocket book in Calf. And I want to return it, they tell me to take it to an outlet there is no outlet in Brooklyn New York, they tell me to travel 60 miles, they are so bad don't ever step in to there stores the are realy nasty and care, I am going to send them a summons thel have to appear in New York

Ordered bag onlinr and was sent Red instead of Acorn waited 45 mins for call to be answered and was told they have a problem in their warehouse with labelling. Told me to return it via royal Mail which is not acceptable in the middle of a COVID lockdown, they could easily do a 3rd party collection via DPD but refused to do so, offered a discount to keep it but if I wanted Red i would have ordered red. So I now have to stand in a Post office to return this risking my health to do so. Was told even if Try and reorder I would probably get red again Appalling customer service particularly in these difficult times

I placed an order on December 20th with next day delivery for 30 dollars hoping it would get to me before Christmas but here I am 7 days later and I still hadnt received any information about shipping or tracking. So I called and turns out they canceled my order without even telling me because the shipping I chose wasnt available and now Im going on a trip in 2 days and would like to have to bag but they said it would take 48 hours to reprocess my order and then they could try to ship it as soon as possible. Also sat on the phone for 20 minutes waiting for customer service to answer. DO NOT ORDER IF YOU ARE EXPECTING TO GET YOUR ORDER FAST! Customer service also isnt great or much help at all. I love Michael Kors bags but Im very disappointed after placing this order and the trouble Ive gone through.

I usually always order from the webiste, but this particular time was just unexpectedly unacceptable. I order on 3/6/17 I waited a week for a shipping confirmation email and never got one, so I emailed customer service. I was told that it was so processing. So I waited a few more days, fast forward to 3/22/17 I call customer service this time only to find out that the order is still sitting in the warehouse... WTH!, So then I'm told to call back in 24 to 48 hrs. So here it is 3/27 and I call back and the excuse I get is that there was a computer glitch. No somebody didn't process the order, but they certainly processed the payment. Sometimes sorry just isn't enough. Supposedly it arrives this Thurs 3/30. Not to sure what's going on with the distribution center but they need to get their act together, so far after this disater it'll be a long time before I order anything from MK online. If I can't find it at one of his stores, then I just won't have it. 15 days to wait for an item ordered is ridiculous. I've gotten things from China faster... smh@ MK online, smh

I ordered a pair of shoes with a matching clutch on line and unfortunately left the clutch in the packaging as we were moving and I wan't to protect it and as I was packing up my house and knew I wouldn't be dressing up very soon I left it wrapped up and did not look at it as I already had the same in beige and knew I would love it.
We moved into our house then I was away for a month and finally had an event to go to and pulled out the clutch from the wrapping and to my dismay the studs on the purse are gold and on the shoes they are silver. All original wrapping and tags are still on the purse however they said I was over the 30 days. They still have the purse on line but I cannot even get a credit. Never experienced such bad customer service anywhere. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Lori Dublanica

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Ordered a $500.00 watch for my daughters birthday and paid for 2nd day air, which was not shipped until the next day at 3:00pm which I then did not have it for my daughter's birthday. I had emailed customer service requesting my 2nd day air charges back and they sent me a copy of their shipping policies which what they did was opposite of their shipping terms. I emailed back and highlighted their policies and told them it was unacceptable and they sent a email back pretty much saying screw you... BUYERS BEWARE make sure you read all policies and fine print because they will refuse to make it right for their customers. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM MICHAEL KORS.COM AGAIN.

Do not ever shop online with Michael Kors.

They have the prices of an upscale store but the customer service of a fly by night rippoff outfit.

I ordered a handbag as a gift. Within seconds of placing the order, I realized I had made a mistake with the billing address (small mistake) and a mistake with the shipping address (shipping to me rather than to the intended recipient of the gift). I searched online for a way to modify or cancel the order and found none. I called their phone number and spoke with a gentleman who guaranteed me that while he could not change the order, he could annotate it so that it would be cancelled and would not be processed.

I then placed the order correctly.

Then I got an email confirming my first order, and I forwarded the email to customer service, noting that I had just called, and it was probably unnecessary, but I wanted to be sure that this order was cancelled. I got an email back from customer service saying that it was impossible to cancel an order once it was placed, that both of the handbags (identicle) that I had ordered would be mailed and if I didn't want one, I could return it.

When I was promised by the gentleman on the phone that the order would be cancelled, and I emailed them within minutes of placing the order, it is unacceptable that they can not cancel the order.

If you like their stores, fine. But they have terrible customer service and do not in any way stand behind their brand if you have to deal with them.

Therefore, do not deal with them.

I never write customer complaints, I always thought it is a waste of time, but this time I can not tolerate it anymore! Don't buy anything from Michael Kors! Never! I returned something which I bought online on May 13th, I sent it back on June 8th, 2017. They said they processed the refund on June 27th. But it has been over two months and I still didn't get the refund. The refund is through paypal, so I called paypal, but they say they never receive any refunds from Michael Kors. How could I not see the refund in my paypal history (not even in the pending payments) if they really processed it? I truly believe they didn't process the refund at all, even though the insisted it. I called MK a least seven times, and every agent says different things. Every time they say they ask me to wait a few more day and they're gonna have a resolution for me, but they never did. Last week I called them again they say they have investigated this issue and they are going to send me a check, but I haven't received any checks yet! Today I called them one more time, and this time they say they are still processing the refund, and they say they never send checks! How could the two agents say things in completely opposite way? I'm really frustrated now it seems it took forever for them to investigate the case and my case never got a solution. I used to buy MK bags a lot, but if the company keeps doing like this, they're lose a customer forever!

I purchased a wallet online and didnt like it so I exchanged it for a handbag at a local Michael Kors store. Im totally displeased with not receiving full credit for my online purchase due to not getting credit for the tax I paid on the wallet online. It seems like the store representative didnt want to go through the effort of refunding my credit card and then completing the handbag purchase in a separate transaction. I had already completed the transaction, left the store, and was thinking that something didnt seem right. I returned to the store to bring to her attention but she said the tax was credited. It was my mistake to take her word rather than show her the receipts. Im not spending extra time visiting the store to resolve this issue because this simple transaction shouldnt have come down to leaving this poor review. My advice is make sure you read product reviews on the items youre interested in before buying so you dont have to waste your time visiting a physical store and not have a seamless experience.
Its too bad that for the product prices the customer experience doesnt match what a customer pays for.

Warranty probs

I purchased a bag about 2 months ago, was the only one I've seen like it so I was pretty pumped. A few weeks go by and the strap just magically snapped as I was wearing it and my whole purse was on the floor. Since all of these bags are covered under warranty I contacted them and sent it back, which I had to pay for and didn't really think I should of had to after spending almost $400 on the bag. Then get a message stating it's unrepairable. It's a damn strap, how bad can it be? So they send me a list of bags that I did not like, asked for my money back or at least a gift card of what I paid and they wouldn't do that. Then asked for my broken bag back, and they wouldn't even send me that! If I knew it was that much hassle I would of paid to take it somewhere to repair it but they wouldn't even send me something that I had already paid for! They made me pick a bag from their list or get nothing and be at a loss with my money. So I picked a bag that I don't even like. And it's been weeks. I've been dealing with the customer service for over a month now and these people make it seem like it's a scam. They send an order number but yet you can't track your order, and have to wait 3 weeks to get it but I had to send mine priority mail? I WILL NEVER BUY A MICHAEL KORS BAG EVER AGAIN. From my experience they're complete $#*!.
