I traveled 2 hour's to Macy's in Ponce Puerto Rico to purchase 2 specific cosmetic products one concealer from Tarte and a foundation from Too faced. The lady told me they didn't sell that concealer and told me about online because Ulta was the only one that sells it. Fine… I then showed her a foundation from the brand Too faced and told her that I was introduced to that foundation and what I like the most is that is 24 hours and is Mayte and mom transferable when I hug someone. I believe she wasn't even listening to me. I thought she knew what she was looking for. She never showed me the product but she placed it in a bag and charged me. When I get back home and was opening my bag's she sold me a concealer. I was very upset and it was late at night time. I called the store the next day and she happened to answer the phone as I explained. She was very rude telling me she remembers the concealer but to her knowledge I never said anything and was yelling to me on the phone NOT PROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH CUSTOMERS.

Macys sends clothing and expensive handbags in the u.ss. Mail in a bag... they arrive rumpled and with handbags; downright poor condition

I went to Macy's on 12/14/2022 and bought some cologne and it had indicated on the website it came with a free gift. So I informed the lady that was assisting me and she couldn't find any free gift bags that it came with so she said if I had a minute she would go look in the stock room so waited and she did. She came back with a Jimmy Choo duffle bag and even wrapped my cologne for me she provided excellent customer service and I was so thankful to her. So then I come home and realized I was supposed to buy 2 colognes not only one so I go back to Macy's at like 7 pm and asked to purchase the same cologne again and asked for the free gift since I knew they had one and the worker told me that they were not able to go into the stockroom it was to late and every night they changed the code to get it for me to return the next day after 12 pm if I wanted the free duffle bag. I honestly felt like they just didn't want to make the extra effort to fo walk to the stock room, it's like bring the bags onto the sales floor like other vendors do why do you keep them locked up in the stockroom when Christmas is days away? So I did I returned the following day 12/15/2022 to find the helpful lady that helped me the first time I made my purchase. I informed her of what had happened and she could not believe it that they made me come back the next day, and again she went out of her way and did everything she could to make my purchase go as smoothly as possible, I wish some of the other workers did the same and provided their customer with such excellent customer service at this time of the year. So I would like to give a special thanks to Carloyn H. For providing me and I'm sure all of your customers with such excellent customer service I truly did appreciate you.

If I could give 0 stars I would. About a week ago I purchased a custom couch from Macys that would take about 20 weeks to make. The next day I found out the information the sales person gave me about shipping was incorrect and I had to spend 2 days trying to get that fixed. Then a couple days later I found out the information about how and when I would be charged was incorrect. I was charged for the entire purchase right away. It was supposed to be a deposit and a "pending" charge now and the pending charge would drop off. I was charged for the entire purchase right away. I have spent 2 days now trying to fix this issue. Half the customer service people I spoke to said yes, I was charged but there is nothing they can do about it and the other half said that I wasn't charged. My bank has assured me that I have been charged and it never came in as an "authorization" and the only way to fix it now is for Macy's to give a credit. When I was standing at the register i told the sales person that the register said it was charging and I was ignored. At this point, I don't even care if the couch is nice, it was not worth the rudeness of the customer service people and the head aches I have been through. I am sure I am not done either. This is going to be a long 20 weeks! We will never shop with them again. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!
Update - I spoke to someone that made me conference in my bank to confirm the charge was actually a charge. Once that was confirmed they took my information to give me a credit. The credit never came and now they are telling me there are no notes from my past 10 calls and we are still going to be charged again when the couch is done. I will be calling corporate but I don't have much faith.
